He met her eyes as she looked up at him and their foreheads met. "What do you want me to do?" he asked again. "I will do whatever you ask."

Emily looked tears still going from her eyes " i dont care right now "

He kissed her again and then swept her up in his arms. "I'll take care of you, Emily. You don't have to do anything you don't want."

Emily looked. She then put her arms around her head and stroked his hair " I have to so you will live. I Dont care about my life only yours. But maybe i can spend one more night with you "

Kai nodded and shivered a little when she touched his hair. "One night, huh? I don't suppose we could find a nice secluded place away from other vampires, start a fire, and hope nothing drops in for a visit?"

Emily nodded her head " i know where " She took his hands. " ill teach you how to fly " She twirled and her wings came out. " put your wings out and let the wind cetch them and fly " She flew and waited for him to fly up. She turned into a pegusus and got him on her and took of flying. She flew upt o the mountain and sat down. The moon was pretty

"I'm not a shapeshifter," he replied, and then tried vainly to produce wings. No luck. He climbed onto her pegasus back and hung on tightly.

"Wow, it's so pretty," Kai replied, glancing at Emily.

Emily looked at the moon and turned into a vampire. She looked at him " I feel like a can see my father. He told me when i first saw you and almost bite you ' Tick-tock . This boy is the one. Tick-tock ' I knew it when i saw your eyes " She said leaning her head on his shoulder

"Who is your father?" Kai asked softly. "Although I'm pleased he seems to take kindly to me."

Emily looked at him " His name was Jacob. He died "

"I'm sorry. What happened?" It was good to know he had some sympathy left in him; he'd rather thought it was gone with his vampire hunter self.

Emily looked " killed from my boy friend when I was little. But I can't talk about it right now " tears came from her eyes

Kai held her in his arms again. "I'm sorry," he said. "I didn't mean to stir up such awful memories."

He paused and then added, "For what it's worth, I lost both my parents early on; I can kind of relate." The only difference was he'd had time to get over it.

Emily looked at him and rested her head on his shoulder. She looke at him " kiss me "

Kai smiled down at her as he gently wiped the tears from her eyes. And then he lowered his head to kiss her, still holding her close.

Emily kissed him silghtly

Kai pulled back and smiled.

(ooc: I dunno why, but Kai suddenly feels more, er, older brotherly to Emily than anything else. Is it just me?)

Emily looked at him and laid down " Wow, the moon " her eyes shinned at it

Kai flopped down next to her, and rolled onto his back to look up at the sky. "It's a nice evening, isn't it?" His eyes traveled to the stars, however, rather than the moon and he closed his eyes for a moment.

Emily looked at him " I just want to make this last night enjoyable before i get killed "
