So, I set my tablet up to receive those handy notifications that were unveiled at the end of Epic Week. They've worked fine until about 2 weeks ago when I noticed I wasn't getting them anymore. I waited a bit to see if the problem would fix itself, but it hasn't. So I'm just wondering if anyone else has the same problem, or if this is a reason to fill out one of those bug reports or not.
Actually, i've started noticing that I don't get notifications on my laptop but the notifs on my phone come up just fine.

This is an issue on Google's or Firefox's end. If something happens on RPR, it generates a notification for you immediately and is sent along to whatever browser you signed up with (Chrome or Firefox). They then decide when you receive your notifications.

It's not known exactly how they handle them. I sometimes get notifications immediately, sometimes there's an hour delay. I also notice inconsistencies between my devices in general. It's likely a spam prevention thing.

What you can do is remove your device from the Dashboard > Your Settings page, under 'Devices to send push notifications to...'. Just remove your tablet from the list, then add it again and see if that helps?

I use Google Chrome, and I did try removing and re-adding my tablet to the notification list. Now I just have to wait for a notification to see if it works. But thanks for the advice. :)

This is true, but more relevant to notifications occasionally being received late. Weeks of notifications not being received at all usually means that we no longer have a valid connection at all.

This is definitely the easiest fix if your notification subscription has been expired for some unknown reason! I'm still looking into why subscriptions occasionally stop being considered valid.

Good to know! :)

I hope that fixed it for you!
