Hey everyone! So I saw this idea online and thought it would be fun to try out.

The plot is a typical OC from our world/universe/whatever ends up in a fandom (If you've made your own world/universe you could even use that instead of a fandom) and has adventures. The twist is that the OC has little to no knowledge about the work — and so does the writer. The idea is that one writer can learn to write their OC in new situations, learn how they cope/adapt/etc. while simultaneously learning about another fandom. The other writer practices keeping canon in-character and in-continuity while dealing with some wacky adventures (and hopefully winning the other writer to their fandom!) Even if both writers know the fandom it still sounds like fun!

One of two options:
1. GUEST. You bring your OC to the table.
2. HOST. You bring your fandom to the table.

RULES FOR OC's:
* They can't be a canon or original character from another established work.

* They can't have special powers, be non-human, etc. They have to be a person that can actually exist in our world.

* Do NOT rely on your host to do all the work in advancing the plot. You are as responsible as they are to make sure all involved have a good time. At the same time, if it's a plot twist you aren't sure about (like initiating romance with a canon character, getting kidnapped, or discovering information the canon characters don't learn yet), run it by your host. It's better to be safe than messing up an already-running plotline.


If you choose HOST, please list a set of fandoms that you are comfortable with, or match one of the fandoms already listed by a GUEST. Note that you will be expected to play any and all canon characters you introduce, provide explanations about the 'verse, and have tons of fun! You may wish to follow a canon arc, or you may wish to go on a new adventure. Run it by your guest either way. (Some people might want to avoid spoilers)

Guest: that'd be 'person' here. also, I've got a hard time naming Fandoms that i'd be interested in learning about/exploring since if I knew the name, there's a chance i'd know a bit more as well. probably open to most anything.

Host: OFF. Kirby. Homestuck. IB. Steven Universe. Minecraft? maybe more.

GUEST: I'd be interested in Harry Potter (I haven't seen the movies/read the books in forever, I forget everything), Arrow, any DC Universe hero really, Supernatural (I've seen up to when Sam got possessed by the devil and went to hell).

HOST: I'm comfortable hosting Game of Thrones, The West Wing, Star Wars, The Walking Dead (TV show only).

I'm up for guesting in a Game of Thrones one with my character Tessa.

I'm willing to host a Lord of the Rings one too if anyone's interested!

If anyone is interested our Once Upon a Time group RP has cross realming options highly available when creating OCs. And we like more people!

GUEST: I'd be up for guesting in any fantasy-medieval setting, LotR GoT, etc or your own fantasy-medieval world.

HOST: I'm only up for hosting a Lord of the Rings one at the moment but I may add more.

I'd love to do this idea, it seems very fun.

GUEST: There are a lot of fandoms I've never participated in, if anyone really wants to host I would definitely be up for throwing some OCs into the ring. I've got quite a few, including nonfandoms.

HOST: I could host many fandoms, though I am primarily interested in doing Game of Thrones, Star Wars (including prequels, original trilogy, TFA, Clone Wars, and Rebels), Dragon Age (video games only), or Fallout (I can only really do canons from 4, but I could try to do Mettaton/Vault 101 from 3).

This sounds fun! I'd love to guest in something with Ava here.

Guest: Game of Thrones, BBC Merlin, Vikings, Lord of the Rings or fandoms similar to those.

I could host maybe Steven Universe, or Rick and Morty, or probably Kirby. Zelda...? Pokemon... And if I can't host il be a guest.

Host: I can host Souleater, the quite a bit of Naruto (I write Fanfic for it ^.^ ), Leverage, and Saw

I thought I'd just bump this up again because I think it's an awesome idea.

GUEST: I'm willing to guest in pretty much any Medieval fantasy or Sci-fi type fandoms.

HOST: I don't really know too many fandoms, I can host a Lord of the Rings one, that's the only fandom I really know well enough too host.
