Soo, first of all, i'd like to tell you a story about my first hand-held gaming console.
Now, i wasn't the poorest kid around, but i wasn't Mr. Mcmoneybags, so i didn't have quite a lot of toys.
During my 8th birthday, my mother went out to by a game for me, so she went to a toy store(a really shady one at that)and asked for the cheapest game they had. The store clerk tricked her into buying a little "independent" hand-held plug and play thingy that was around 100 bucks (Which is a lot).
And i mean, i don't blame her, the design was preety cool and if i was an helpless mother who didn't know anything about games, i'd probably have bought it too.
So she gets home, and i'm super pumped because, hell, it's my first videogame! She hands me the little box with the game, and i'm super happy because i didn't know any better.
I start playing with it, hoping to see these PS2 level of graphics. What do i get, you might be wondering ?
Three games, box pusher, blue slow mario and bejewled. All in a tiny gbc screen...
To be fair, i did have fun with the bad Mario, but that's because i had nothing else.
But what about you guys ? Have you ever had any bootleg bad consoles or hand-held videogames ? Post about it!
