Chris didn't think anything of leaning into CD's interior when he saw papers sticking out of her glove compartment. "Whatcha got in your glove compartment, CD?" He pulled the papers out to look through them.

The papers were papers that read mostly about the classifiation CD was issued. Papers that stated what licenses were gifted to drive her. There was a giant envelope that contained blueprints, though sealed shut with super glue and duct tape.

''Just some classified documents about what year I was made, my cores type, blueprints of my design, and what licenses were required for one to drive me......Wait a minute..Why do I have those? They were supposed to be be in the hands of my creator.''

"Who knows. Maybe he slipped them to you before he got arrested? And if that's the case, I wonder why he superglued and duct taped this envelope shut?"

Chris spent a moment working at the envelope to no avail. "I'm gonna need a screwdriver, hold on."

''Yeesh, a screwdriver to open the envelope? No knives or scissors?''

Chris grimaced. "The ductape will just gum up the knife or scissors. A screwdriver can slip into a gap...and I can rip the paper portion."

He found a screwdriver and spent two minutes working the flathead past the ductape and into the envelope. Then he punctured a hole into the bottom of the envelope and managed to open it from the bottom.

"There we go..." he pulled out the contents of the envelope. "What have we here?"

The contents were papers regarding CDs creation, and several blueprints that pointed out key sources of her cores placement. Even one that detailed her wiring, and basic means of fixing one of one was fried. The others detailed how to disable her, but the writing looked weathered and aincent. Inside was a key, which was used to shut down her core manually by disrupting the signal. It was unused, and was in a plastic bag. The other papers listed everything in her build, even the smallest screw and specific standard for the lenses of her cameras were listed.

Chris whistled when he scanned the documents, taking in the blueprints with eager eyes and careful attention to detail. The key, he looked over closely, and then at the rest of the schematics, before fervently reaching out to pat CD's dashboard.

"CD. I think I just found the holy grail. And I have your creator to thank. I don't know why he would have put this in your dashboard, unless he knew you were going to be at the bottom of the ocean...or somewhere unreachable."

''Thats great and all, but I'm out of gas.'' She retorted. The list even mentioned what oil she used, and what kind of gas worked good for her powerful engine.

"Oh. Right." Honestly, 54 could have nuked the garage and he probably would not have noticed with those documents in hand. "Can you make it to the gas station? Or do you need a tow?"

''Towing. My systems locked up from no gas and my core is having a fit after detecting no gas in my tank.''

"Figured as much. Clutch! I need you to tow CD to the gas station. Can you do that?"

Clutch took a moment to respond as he was talking with 54, and then turned to cast his lights upon Chris. "You want me to tow her?" He hesitated briefly and then sighed. "Fine."

"Thanks."

"You so owe me a carwash Ultimate Deluxe." Clutch muttered, turning around and lowering his tow magnet for Chris to hook them up.

''Clutch, I've not been washed since forever.'' She retorted.

"Alright then," said Clutch, "Chris will give us both the Ultimate Deluxe car wash."

"What? I can't afford that!" Chris replied.

Clutch beeped. "You did when you took the liberty of adding 54 to my hood."

54's core turns cold again.

CD gruffs. ''Stop arguing!''

"Noooo, stop getting cooooold," Clutch whined at 54. "I can't do anything when you're..." he trailed off.

Chris hooked up the magnetized tow hook and then kicked Clutch's bumper. "Alright, Mr. Freeze. Let's go, shall we? CD needs gas asap."

''Then behave and get to work!'' 54 sneered, her core warming back up. CD shifted her gear into neutral. She then noticed her gearshaft was locked up in reverse.

Chris peered into CD's interior. "Something wrong?"

Clutch attempted to pull CD behind him but he didn't get very far. "Are you in neutral, CD? My RPMs are racing, but we're not going anywhere."

''My gear shift is jammed in to reverse! I can't move it.'' CD exclaimed, still trying to move it. But it wouldn't budge, stuck.

"Let me try; Clutch, stop pulling." Chris grabbed some oil and a cloth and a screwdriver, and then got to work on the gearshaft. "Is it rusted maybe?"

Clutch sighed and idled in the garage. "By the time we get out of here, I'll be out of gas."

Somehow, as he worked on it, the gearshaft broke. It fell to pieces, rusted out.
