Jim lifts his hands up. "I'm not touching your AI core. Trust me. You're gonna be more than enough to fix up. What's your name, anyway?" He glanced at Chris and mouthed: 'wow.'
Chris just shook his head. "Jim builds his own robots. He'll probably get a billion ideas from this.Aaron, Clutch has an extra AI in him. Can you grab a spare car?"
Aaron grinned and held up his keys. "Already got you covered. You can plug in this spare AI to my ride."
"Lucky," muttered Clutch.

''My name is Cranky Doortrap, or CD. My sister is the core in Clutch. Her name is 54.''
Jim's grin only widened. "Well, Cranky Doortrap, the pleasure's all mine. Maybe after we get you all fixed up, you can come take a look at what else I've built." He set to work replacing what he could and hammering out dents where he saw fit.
Aaron half bowed to Clutch. "Well, 54, and Clutch, if you don't mind separating, I've got a decent ride waiting for you out front in the driveway." He chuckled as though it was some joke. And even Chris had to laugh.
The "decent ride" was a souped up vehicle that could easily rival CD on the track.
"Alright, let me transfer the AI, then, if that's okay with you, 54," said Chris.

54 fell silent as she shut down for the transfer.
CD winces occasionly, feeling every hit and fix. ''What about the FF?''
CD winces occasionly, feeling every hit and fix. ''What about the FF?''
Chris was getting to be a pro at transfering AIs. Within five minutes he had hooked up 54 to Aaron's...Ferrari. "When did you get this?" Chris gaped just before installing 54.
Aaron grinned. "Two weeks ago. Go on, set her up."
Chris finished and stepped back to watch and wait for 54 to adjust to her new systems. "Well, that's incredible. Make sure she doesn't steal your new ride." Aaron just laughed.
Jim shrugged. "What's FF? Is that another robot?" He glanced up and around curiously.

54 turned on almost instantly with little trouble. ''I was built inside a Ferarri! Well, Generic off brand one...But I was one!'' She exclaimed happily, core crackling in the engine block cheerfully as she acquired the data from the Ferarri.
''The FF is a super airplane core that Bill tried to destroy. Its an amber core in that box.'' CD replied.

Chris chuckled. "Feels like old times, huh, 54?"
Aaron observed 54 for a moment. "Why not take us for a spin, 54? I've got the latest equipment for AI driving, complete even with camera sensors. If you don't mind, Chris?"
Chris shook his head. "Not at all. Just don't let her scare you."
Back in the garage, Jim wandered over to the box and opened it. He grinned. "You know, I've been looking for an AI core to fit in my robot..." He nabbed the core and slipped it into his pocket for later; and then he went back to fixing CD's eyes.

''Well, my cameras were in my windsheild..'' 54 inquired, making the engine purring lightly. ''Totally better than using CDs old engine!'' She cackled. ''What color is this car?'' She asked.
''But the FF's also hostile and it's coding is..Haywire.'' CD warned.
''But the FF's also hostile and it's coding is..Haywire.'' CD warned.
Aaron raised his brow at the question of color. "Blue with two yellow pinstripes." The camera sensors were next to the headlights and tail lights giving a good front and hind view of the car's surroundings. "And we can hit 300 if we're careful. But I'd wait until we're at the racetrack for that. The police already kind of keep an eye out for me.
Jim sighed. "Well, so are my robots, maybe they'll get along okay." He finished doing what he was doing and stepped back. "Alright, I think I finished with your exterior. Can you move alright?" A pause. "It's weird that Chris would have a robot in his garage. Usually he only works on cars."

CD snirked and shifted to her car form with ease, brown eyes staring at Jim. ''Who said I was just a car?'' She hissed.
''My old body was dark purple with a '54' on the sides. Police are still trying to find me.'' 54 said, snickering.

Jim scrambled back with a yell. "Wha--What are you? You're not a ro-or maybe you're a transforming robot?" His surprise and fear warred with his curiosity. "How did you do that?"
Aaron laughed. "They'll never find you in this car. Or at least they'll be hard pressed to keep up. My racing number is '92'. If that means anything to you. But I'm in the top five racer's category."
Chris smiled to himself as he went to check on Jim and CD to see how they were getting along. And grinned when he saw Jim and CD in car form. So she'd shown him her trick already... "Hanging in there, Clutch?"
"Yes," beeped the car. "You should have done this ages ago."

''I'm a sentient AI car capable of changing to human form. This only possible, however, if my core has a full charge and all my systems are in check. My names Cranky Doortrap, retired spy of a war long over.'' As she pointed a water gun at Jim from her headlights.
''Well, CDs always bragging about how her max speed is 250. But she's a generic sports car. Her number is 45, which stems from her serial number of 459027.'' 54 inquired. ''I hate her.''

Jim, unlike Chris, didn't freak out at CD's squirt gun. He just laughed and went to inspect it. "Man, you have no idea how jealous I am...! A squirt gun that hides under your headlight, how incredible is that? What else you got? An ejector seat? A parachute in your trunk?"
Aaron ran his hands over the wheel. "Why do you hate her, 54? She's an AI, same as you. Seems you two should be causing all sorts of trouble together. Like Clutch." He chuckled lightly.

''I used to have a wide array of weapons, but my programs strictly restrict me using these weapons. Unless something is attacking me.'' And a missile launcher slides from her undercarriage. Small enough that it contained only tiny missiles that could be fired with ease. ''But everything else is classified.'' She sneered.
''CD is older than me. I'm part of her core, just a small chip.'' 54 grumbled.

Chris grinned as he watched CD show off her "toys" to Jim, who seemed to be a little kid at Christmas.
"A good AI has well-built security parameters in their code," Chris commented to CD and Jim. "So that's why we're not too concerned about her. 54 was a little more volatile but she's calming down."
Jim nodded. "Classified, huh? What do I need to do to find out these classified weapons?"
Aaron shrugged. "Size means nothing in the long run. I know some huge AIs that do nothing more than math problems all day long. You try getting them to write words, and they belch smoke for hours. It sounds like you just need a way to find yourself though. How about we go for a drive?" He grinned suddenly. "Besides, this car goes faster than CD. You'd be able to outrun her no problem."

''Classified means that no one os to find out.'' CD snorted, sliding her weapons back in. ''54 is a rouge AI that is just now starting to trust us.''
54 revs the engine up loudly, gears into drive, and floors it.

Chris flinched in the garage as the Ferrari out front revs its engine and takes off. "I guess that means 54 is going for a spin. Or Aaron." He shook his head as Jim laughed.
"Let's just hope it's not like the motorcycle incident." To CD he explained: "The particular motorcycle he rode had an AI and it kidnapped him. We weren't sure we'd get him back alive, since motorcycles are dangerous enough on their own; with AIs, they're downright lethal. But he managed, somehow, to talk it down. And he's got good racer's instincts."
Aaron had just enough time to clip his seatbelt on before the Ferrari took off. He started to grab for the wheel and then thought better of it. "Head for the highway; you can get up to 80 legally there before catching a cop's attention."

''54 should have enough sense to behave. Maybe she won't go berzerk.'' CD replied, frowning a bit. ''It's just her past haunts her, I guess.''
54 gets up to a cruising speed as she goes to the highway, careful to not hit anything as she made sure Aaron was safe and the like. ''How are you?'' She asked.

Jim shrugged. "What some people don't understand is that while a human can forgive and forget, AIs cannot forget unless they delete it from their memory. She probably just needs those memories--or information--deleted. Then she'll be good to go. Right Chris?"
Chris looked surprised. "Why didn't I think of that? I suppose her code was so extensive I didn't think to look for the harddrive portion that stores experiences..."
Clutch beeped beneath him. "Wiping out her memory? Are you crazy?! She'll forget everything and need to start over! That's not right."
On the streets, Aaron was pleased and surprised by how quickly 54 settled into her new car. "How am I?" he echoed. "I'm...good. Happy. Thrilled that you seem to have no trouble maneuvering on the roads. From the way Chris talked, I thought you were going to be one heck of a ride... I got kidnapped by a motorcycle once. Not as much fun as it might sound."

''Well, I can barely recall anything but thats because of the ocean.'' CD hissed.
54 chuckled, nervously.
