As Bender stabbed his fork through a potato and started eating from it as if it were a chicken on a bone, he looked over the poster and read over it."I can read just fine, lad. Just a lil' difficult without me glasses." In the hopes of compensating, he slid his goggles on, but it hardly helped.

He did recognize the name."Ubungu th' Claw. I know 'im alright. He's the kind o' fella who thinks he owns the sea. Didn' meet 'im yet, but he's pretty keen on hiring folks. I've stumbled across more than one recruiter back at Giantsport. It's surprisin' the basterd's still alive with th' fleet he's lookin' to build."

It took a moment to realize that Flavio was telling him he was once under Ubungu's employment. Longer than he dared admit."Ah, been one o' the poor suckers drawn in by 'is promises, huh?" Bender didn't realize the true danger Ubungu could possibly pose."No worries, yer still welcome. We'll just hop in Giantsport 'n leave as soon as possible. Sound like a plan?"

During their talk Bender had been feeling around in his pockets for some paper. But he had neither the tools nor the paper with him."Sorry lad, unless you got some with ya, we'll get that letter goin' once we're back at me ship." He said as he faced Arien with a mouthful of potato.

Arien listened and observed as Flavio produced a wanted poster with his former captain on it. A wry grin pulled at Arien's face as he glanced at the poster then back at Flavio.

"You've sure got a colorful background. How'd you end up with the likes of him?" He'd finish his plate of food, scraping his fork against it, before setting it down and looked to Bender.

"Then I'll write it up when we reach the ship." He studied the poster once more, memorizing the description. "You think we'll run into him? The captain?"

Flavio laughed at Arien's question, although it was a strange laugh, it was distant and surprisingly soft. "Oh that's and boring story, I'm sure." said the hyena to that. "I don't think we'll run into him personally but he's probably got his men set on removing some parts from me and bringing them to him, if I join you he might target us." After letting the two peer at it for a bit longer he rolled the parchment up again.

"If that doesn't trouble any of you, you have yourself a marksman captain Bender." He picked up the chicken leg again and resumed eating.

The captain laughed as well."He's got folks recruitin' in his name I'm sure. But I doubt we'll see 'im when we enter a tavern 'r somewhere public. He sounds like too much o' a proud prick fer that." He joked once his food and drink were consumed."Alright, lads, let's get movin'. I want me ship fixed 's soon 's possible."

Once everyone was done, Bender would lead them back to their cart, and not soon after, they would be on their way again.

It would be near sunset once they were near the edge of the forest. Bender had been telling tales of when he and the crew got drunk, which lasted on for hours if he wasn't stopped. But soon even he had to stay quiet as farmers and sailors came riding and running down the road in masses. They looked frightened, tired, and some even had singed clothes.

Bender looked at them and yelled his question."Hey! What's goin' on? Where're y'all runnin' to?" No one dared reply, but one little boy did."Something attacked us, sir! They came from the sea, they're burning everything!"

Bender looked shocked."Oh gods, me boat! Double time, lads!" He snapped the reigns in order to make the horses sprint for the town.
