I'm pretty new around here, really haven't gotten to do anything of note yet but I've been working hard to get some interesting character profiles set up...

How the HECK am I supposed to choose what characters to make? I have so many, some with a ton of work put into them already and others I desperately want to expand upon with some RP. I feel all scatterbrained, who would other people like? What would work for RP? Who's even INTERESTING enough to make a whole profile for rather than just bringing up for one instance?

I know I'll never be able to give profiles to all the characters I'd like to show off, but it's agonizing trying to decide who'll be the most usable and who'll be the most liked by other players. Does anybody have advice on what to go for, or if I should just relax about it? (Mostly, I just hope there's at least one other person with as many dang characters as I have so I don't feel like such a dork...)

You could write them all out in a notebook or type them all up in a Word document. That way you can just copy and paste the information as you find RPs to play and you need characters. This way you get to make all the interesting characters you want, and you'll more than likely get the chance to show them all off, just maybe not immediately. Of course, this is just one suggestion.

There are lots of people out there with tons and tons of characters.

If you're trying to figure out which ones to do first, I suggest using the Looking For RP forum to find a RP you want to join, then post describing the character(s) you could join with and see if they are of interest. If so, make the profile! Then you not only have proof that that character will work in a RP and be interesting, you'll have a RP to join right away as soon as you put up that profile, which will be extra motivation to get it done.

Funnily I already have a bit of a word document going with all my junk, so I could probably make use of that idea in the future. I'll definitely try and set up a shorter list though, and hopefully the motivation of a possible RP will be enough for me to get off my lazy bum and do the work

You can have 10 characters with a base account. The above people either purchased more space, or won more space by entering contests.

I suggest starting with the one you love the most first~ The most developed and planned out but you also love using them and such Pick that one and then go for the others~
