Hey there! I'm Alaska and I'm new around here.
I'm far from new to roleplaying though, I've got about 12 years of that under my belt. I started on Gaia online, briefly migrated to tumblr, and now have wound up here since neither of those seem very fruitful these days.
I enjoy all kinds of written roleplays, from fantasy, to modern, to Sci-fi. Given an interesting enough story, I'll probably try just about anything. I also really like fandom based roleplays. I've got the strange habit of enjoying playing canons for people--either to another canon or their OCs. I've also got a soft spot for roleplays with room for humor among their drama and action. I've almost always stuck to one on one roleplays (I find them easier), but since finding this site, maybe I'll try to branch out and test myself with a group sometime soon.
I'm looking forward to writing with you guys!

What Cru said! I'm more comfortable with original worlds and characters... But I know that people who roleplay canon with others' OCs deserve their own personal paradise. You are no exception. I might even be tempted if you hit the right chord.
