What would you do with it? Would you spend it on everything your heart desires? Would you gamble it away trying to earn more money? Or would you just invest it somewhere?
I think answers to this kind of question tells more about a person than most things. So... Tell me your answers!
What I would do with a million dollars...? It's honestly hard to say. Really, to have a million dollars in my hands means I can buy a nice, cheap house, furnish it, and pay mortgages with most of it. Then set a bit aside to invest in my creative business dreams. Then use the remainder to visit the ones I love (or invite them over) and spoil them rotten.

Ick one million dollars is a dangerous sum really. Due to a disability and other problems, I can't work and so I am on disability. However if I got a million dollars then I would be off of disbality which would also mean I lose my health insurance, my food stamps and my monthly check.
So as a result I would have to be able to make that million dollars support me for the rest of my life which I really don't think it can. So in my case it would be more of a curse then a blessing. That is unless if came in the form of like a winning lottery ticket or something that I could pass to my parents to claim. Then I could have my parents invest it into my severely autistic baby brother's future as well as mine. Maybe have a check written to the animal shelter I volunteer at as well.

^This. Sadly, now that you put it in those terms, it would be more of a curse if I got a million IRL. However, I do plan to work, so it wouldn't be all bad I guess. But that is a scary thought.

Good for you, I often feel guilty about being on disability, but I just don't see myself being able to hold down a job. So I volunteer twice a week and try to be a nice person.

You sound like me when I first moved into my apartment: volunteering twice a week and trying to follow my dreams, while nervous to take a job because of the stress that might get to me. I'm sure that it'll all work out in the end for you one day, though!
Maaaannnn if I had one mil, I'd be partying all day, errrr day!!
Jk, I would spend some of it on video games and give the rest to my mom.

I'd get a passport, move to Canada, buy myself an e-reader of some description, load it up with all my favorite books (gonna need a very big e-reader), and give the rest to my girlfriend because she is much better with money than I am and it will actually be used well if she has it. I can absolutely blow the whole million on books and we both know it.
Invest it in reputable, growing companies and triple my profits.
I'm fun at parties I swear.

If I had that much money, I would pay off all my parents' debt/mortgages/loans etc, and my own student loans.
With whatever's left over, I'd probably help my parents find a house they really like (we're in the process of looking for one to move into), and save up for my future.

I would buy the house of my dreams, or buy the lot to build such a house. Nothing lavish, just 3 bedrooms, a washroom, a decent size kitchen, livingroom and a decent study with room enough for my books. Then I would invest at least half of the money left, and use the rest to travel.
Id buy me a apartment, a nice one too, then I'd decorate it. After that I'd buy me a Xbox 1, PS4, and a new phone. Then buy me some video games and gear to make a YouTube channel. I'd keep some to get me along for a while and my friends and family. Then donate the rest to Charity.
I know I'd use some of it for a Koi pond and some more for a soundproof room that I could scream in whenever I have emotions.

Personally, I'd build myself the car of my dreams. 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX, lowered just a little, put a little camber on it, gut the interior, put on some carbon fiber parts (because I don't even think a million would buy me a full carbon fiber chassis), and put in a roll cage. Then I'd turn that baby into a drag car, using a bit of the money to bet on my own races. And then whatever is left after that, I'll put half into a savings account to only be used on repairs and emergencies, and save the rest to be used to pay for college.
If I'm smart, work out how to appropriately invest it in such as way that I'm able to just live off the interest, if not entirely then at least significantly.
Chances are though, I'd start throwing it around. Erase my debt. Erase the debt of friends. Throw the money at their various troubles. Buy lots of stupid little things. Suddenly find myself broke and with way too much junk to function with. x.x But happy, healthy friends!

if I had a million dollars I'd probably try to create a supervirus in order to erase the huma race from the surfae. And wasp. I hate wasps.
Bring my grandmother to Canada, maybe a few of my cousins as well so they could get an education
I would divert my million toward my secret Project Avalon, which seeks to alter the course of history and influence people to seek truth above their own opinion. Perhaps that would mean sponsoring a highly influential scientific study, or getting into politics or science myself.
