A little welding here, a twist of a bolt there, all the while screaming and explosions could be heard beyond the steel reinforced walls of his windowless confinement cell. Subject D-023 didn't pay much mind to commotion outside, if it was anything like a the few other times anyone dared to force their way through the facility it would soon be over, besides, he was doing delicate work and getting distracted could mean total obliteration. It went on longer then expected, Subject D-023 considered using earplugs to drown out the noise, but before he could come to a decision he heard the mechanisms of the door to his cell begin to turn and then slowly open. He looked over his shoulder to see who it was; instead of the usual sight of a scientist in a lab coat a small team of men flooded through the door way, all wearing militaristic uniforms and padding, pointing rifles at him. He let out a reflexive breath through his nose, sounding more like a defiant grunt, putting the soldiers even more on edge.
"Stand down!" Somebody ordered. The men obeyed and stood aside, letting in a similarly dressed man through, only difference was his face wasn't covered and his hands were behind his back, unarmed. He seemed calm and collected, but his eyes betrayed his awe and fascination as he looked at this creature, but most of all, he seemed satisfied. "Greetings, it's an honor to finally meet you."
"Who are you?" Subject D-023 said immediately, if nothing out of pure curiosity. He did not answer right away, as if surprised to hear him speak, understandable, at first glance he would seem like an ordinary gorilla mindlessly playing with tools.
"…I am General Miles Kane of the Global Special Defense Association, pardon the intrusion but there is something we need to discuss with you." Kane replied
"There's nothing to discuss, I already know why you're here." Subject D-023 said, much to Kane's surprise.
"You do?" he asked.
"Of course, you caught wind of some nameless organization with a useful project on hand and decided to procure it for yourselves, that's the only reason anyone comes here, though I admit you are the first to make it to my door." D-023 explained as he put the finishing touches on his new invention.
"Well, you are right about one thing, we did come specifically for you, but only to ask for your help." Kane replied.
"Ask?"
"Yes, we have no intention of making you our prisoner or our test subject, we just need someone of your… skills to help us with our endeavors." Kane insisted, trying his best to sound as understanding as possible.
"Really… and I suppose those restraints are just a sign of good faith." D-023 replied with a hint of sarcasm, having immediately noticed the large arm restraints carried by one of the soldiers. "You wasted a lot of time and resources tracking me down and coming here, I doubt you would leave me be if I refused you."
"…What can I say, we're desperate here," Kane admitted. "But I promise you that was only our last resort, we wouldn't…"
"You don't have to convince me General, I'll come quietly." Subject D-023 stated before rising from his seat.
"You will?" Kane said, clearly surprised. Subject D-023 gave a little shrug.
"I am a human creation, solely made for the advancement of humankind, it is a truth I accepted a long time ago. The humans that brought me into this world are gone, and so now I belong to you, General. Do with me what you will." He stated standing before the general with an empty expression on his face. Kane couldn't help but frown but never broke eye contact with the gorilla.
"Squad A, pack up all of the Doctor's belongings, Squad B, escort him to the jet." Kane ordered, the men obeying immediately. They cleared a path for Subject D-023 to walk out of, he was a bit hesitant, he had not been outside this cell in ages, but his new owners commanded it, so he obeyed. "You are not a piece of property Doctor, and I hope soon you'll come to realize that." Kane called to him before the ape left the room with a whole squad of armed men escorting him out.

Flight boarding took slightly longer then expected, Will and his father were flying to New York to do some sight seeing. It wasn't often Will left the great white north, but his father insisted some culture would be good for him. Boarding was fine and there wasn't any suspicious activity during take off but a half hour into the flight, some bald men pulled out guns and told everyone the were high jacking the plane in broken English. Will was 21, he looked to his father who hesitantly nodded. With that Will stood, "please lay down the guns and..." One of the six gun men fired, but Will was expecting it as the bullet smashed against his dense skin a small ripple echoed across his face. The bullet dropped to the floor as Will shifted his density again!
In a half visible form he sprinted at the assalents and both his fists connected with the power of two freight trains breaking their jaws and cheek bones upon impact! The last four began yelling to each other in a language Will didn't know, Russian?? Ukranian??? "Do any of you speak English? Put your weapons down!!!"
One of the men grabbed a girl in her early twenties and put a gun to her head, another grabbed Will's father! And one of the men spoke in English, We bring this plane down, Capitalists feel burn today! Will looked at his father who just had a sollom look on his face... Will knew.
Shifting densities again he sprinted at the assalents he slammed his face against the man holding the girl. Pushing her on the ground he heard a gun shot behind him, grabbing the two gunners before him Will cracked their skulls together and turned back to see his father dead. But the assalents dropped his gun and put his hands in the air.
Will wasn't like them, tears flowing he asked some passengers to help tie up the unconcious and broken terrorists. Upon landing the Government took them away. Nice work William Foxx, a Federal Agent said. Will looked confused for a moment, but as he stepped in the car with the agent he knew his days of privately training were over.

Nevin directed his eyes towards a large clock hanging in the display of a near by shop for what felt like the hundredth time since he'd arrived at the minor local landmark. A crowd of people grew and depleted around him periodically and every now and then he would catch part of a conversation between friends or family members and distract himself from his impatience by listening to that chatter. It was this big number of citizens who always swarmed around the landmark that convinced him to accept the invitation he'd received by telephone to meet the representative of an organization here. Despite the evidence this person provided beforehand he still had his doubts regarding their employer and their mission and so found some safety in being at a busy location for their meeting.
The sun overhead began to be too much of a nuisance to Nevin and having already waited a considerable amount of time he was about to head home. Just as he turned and took a step away from the landmark a white car parked as close to him as was possible without putting the driver in danger of paying a fine and a young woman stepped out from the passengers side. Without closing the door of the car or even stepping away from the vehicle she greeted Nevin.
-"Good evening, we would rather not speak to you out on the street. Would you please come with us." The request seemed innocuous when spoken in an upbeat tone by the smiling blonde, however that made Nevin no more reluctant to comply. He declined with little hesitation and didn't move from this spot, earning himself a scrutinizing look from the female until she finally gave in and turned to the driver who was concealed from him by dark glass to dismiss him.
Within a few minutes and after a brief search the two ended up seated in a small restaurant, isolated with all tables around them left unoccupied as was requested by the blonde when she'd handed the waiter a certain amount of money. Nevin was highly suspicious of her, primarily for her appearance that didn't fit was he expected of a representative of what was suppose to be a large and significant organization. The female was not only dressed in casual clothing but seemed more like a young lady out shopping than an employ at work, though he knew better than to judge solely on appearance.
-"We know of you through an informant, however he failed to provide any evidence that you do in fact possess the powers he'd described." Nevin quickly sought out anyone close enough to overhear their conversation, suddenly uncomfortable in the presence of the stranger who might give away his nature. As he should had expected, there was no one in the part of the restaurant where they sat but as the woman continued the need to run and hide never left him.
-"To most people, even most of those working for us, you would come across as nothing more than a teenager who is fond of dying his hair and drawing abstract art on his skin. They've sent me to speak to you because I have... an eye for extraordinary things." Only after these words it became apparent to Nevin how the blond hadn't been focused on him but was periodically following with her gaze the shadowy thing close by him that he'd been sure no one else in the room could see. This is when the sense of discomfort evolved into a feeling that he was in danger, found out and now at the mercy of an army of people who could deal with him how they see fit.
-"You... the people you work for... they think I'm a threat?" Nevin asked, not comforted by the female's soft expression. The dark creature, having drifted from them and returned leaned closer to his shoulder having read the situation better than him and now willing him to be patient.
-"No!" The blond snorted with a wide grin though obviously without having intended to respond like this, or at least not as loudly. "From how our informant has described you we believe you could be of great use to our cause... Yes, the information is unconfirmed, but I'm sure after seeing you now that it's true... that you interfered with one of our missions a few weeks back." Seeing how puzzled Nevin seemed and uncertain if the organization meant to hurt him or perhaps study him or take something from him she finally explained the situation in a few short though clear words. "You helped us... Now we're asking for your assistance."

Violet was sleeping on her couch. She'd been out later than usual the night before thanks to a car chase. A knock was heard, eventually waking her up. She grumbled as she answered the door. a Man in a black suit was standing there. "Good afternoon. Are you Ms. Violet Wells?" The man asked. "Yes, and I'm not interested in whatever you're selling." Violet responded, before closing the door. The man stuck his foot in the way keeping it from closing. "I'm not here to sell you anything Ms. Wells. I need to speak with you about your abilities." The man said, after being sure no one else was outside. "What abilities?" Violet asked, with her tone quickly going from mildly annoyed to angry. "Your shapeshifting." The man said. Violet's eyes widened when he mentioned her powers. "I was sent by the Global Special Defense Association to speak with you. Considering your efforts to keep your identity hidden, I'm sure you would much rather discuss things inside." The man explained.
After a bit more convincing and showing off a few badges, Violet reluctantly let the man in. "So what do you want from me?" Violet asked. "I know that I can be a bit destructive in my beast form, but I'm not dangerous on a global level." Violet said. "Hell, I'm hardly a threat locally." She added. "Ms. Wells, since you've started your vigilante work your chases have caused twelve fatal accidents, caused thousands of dollars in medical bills, and costed thousands of dollars in property damage." The man retorted.
"Regardless, I'm not here about that. My organization believes that your abilities would make you a good addition to a team of similar people we are buil-"The man began before being cut off. "Sorry, but I'm not interested in joining a team. I'd much rather stay on my own and do things the way I've been doing." Volet said. "Joining the team we're making will have its benefits. First off, your vigilantism will become legal so you won't have to worry about local law enforcement trying to arrest you. Or local animal control." The man explained. "Plus, when you do cause property damage and injure others you won't be charged with the bills." The man added. "I'm already not charged." Violet said. "If I leave without you joining our team I can assure that you will be receiving those bills I mentioned earlier." The man replied. Violet's eyes widened. "What?! You can't do that. You don't have any proof that I did all that." Violet said. "Yes we do. We had to find out who you were for me to be here speaking to you afterall." The man said. Violet huffed. "Fine." She snarled.
After a bit more discussion, the man left.

Down the hall soft humming could be heard Down that hall was a room and in that room was a woman. This peculiar lady wore a black cocktail dress with purple frills and in her arms she held a pair of bundles each cloathed in a blanket of blue or pink....atleast that was the dream she had. Poping up from the oddly comfy floor below her she yawns and brushes a single strand of titanium blond hair out of her eye. She stood as she looked around the place she had called home for three years now... Same old steal door to her left same old one way glass she used as a mirror every morning same old white padded room same old smell of burning human flesh and cold metal.....she loved her home the sights the sounds the smells the food. Speaking of which it was breakfast time and she could smell the massive pile of bacon they served her every morning down the hall. She then licks her lips and smiles as she heads over to the door where the same old pair of flame proof gloves Is stuck through the door and hands her the food....but the silly man on the other side must of been new because he still had all his fingers. 'Well not anymore!' She subconsciously decided as she dug into her meal face first taking his middle finger with it 'it's not like he needed it anyway right?' She asks herself internally as she laughs and listens to his screams on the other side of the door ' hmm must use a lot of lotion...that was mighty chewy for being a mans finger' she then looks down at her plate and decided that her bacon wasn't crispy enough so she quickly glared at it intensely as if it where an ex showing up to her birthday with his new girl right before the new girls peice of cake explodes and takes her head off. She chuckles at the thought of it. Later that day she was told that she'd be escorted to her theripist who was not only her theripist but also her husband and father of her twins. Now of course when figuring out about their relationship the company tried to assign her to a new theripist buut everytime they came to clean out the office they would find a complete set of clean human bones with a few burn marks they usually had anything from just a hat to full on makeup and wigs when they where found. This went on until he was the only one they had left and let's be honest the workers where terrified of her at this point.
She soon enough arrived in his office her amythest eyes staring deeply into his sapphire ones. While her hair was a very pale blond shade his was a greyish black, while her hair was lower back length his suprisingly was kept short and unkept his big soft blue orbs hidden behind his thick black rimmed glasses. He was suprisingly younger than her (she being 19 and him being 18). She happily sat across from him in her typical orange jump suit he smiles as he pecks her cheek lightly. " listen Catherine this morning a government agent approached me and asked for you" it took her a moment to process this as she replied
" asked for me to do what Hun?" She couldn't ignore the cute blush on the young mans face as she said this.
" they want you to join a special t-" before he could finish this statement she replied " sorry baby cakes I don't do goodie goodie stuff" and with that she got up to leave.
He sighs and rubs the bridge of his nose " I was hoping I wouldn't have to do this but....they told me that if you cooperate they grant you your freedome AND you can come home to be with me and the children" she freezes at this and turns back to him
" what's the catch?" She knows there's a catch to this... She's insain not stupid. He then replies " I will personally have to travel with you as your handler and we will have to activate your chip" she smiles and walks over to him grabbing him by his blue sweater vest and pulling his face inches from her own " that's not a catch pudding that's a PARTY!" and with that she pulls this seemingly innocent man into a scorching kiss. Soon he pulls away and asks"....so that's a yes right?" He then chuckles before being pulled into another kiss...both unaware that the room was almost engulfed entirely in flame.
( did I try to do too much? This is my first time trying to write an edgy character I'm trying my best not to break any rules....I'm sorry)

Subject D-023 didn't feel entirely comfortable in the jet, flying from the remote island he had spent his whole life on to some unknown world. He felt very nervous, and when he was nervous, he would tinker, but every time he reached for a tool he was reminded that he wasn't in his cell anymore, sitting at his work bench where he could build things to his hearts content. Instead, he was in an unfamiliar aircraft, his only company the four soldiers ordered to escort him to their base, firearms at the ready should he try anything. But he wouldn't, despite his anxiety, he meant what he said, he accepted his fate and would try and make the best of it, all he really needed was a quite, private place for him to work, but he knew he wasn't in any position to be making demands. All he could do was count the hours until they finally began their descent, he was curious as to where they were taking him, but not enough to ask, looking out the window he saw that they were in a very remote place, perhaps some sort of desert, with only a small, insignificant looking storage facility off in the distance from where they were landing. Once they finally touched ground, Subject D-023 was escorted out of the jet, General Miles Kane waiting for him outside.
"Hello again Doctor, how was your first time flying?" He asked politely, a friendly smile on his face.
"It was an experience I could've done without." Subject D-023 replied, flying was a strange sensation, specifically taking off and the turbulence along the way.
"You'll get used to it, but for now let me show you the base." Kane said as he guided the ape to the storage hanger, however instead of entering a keypad appeared right next to the door and after entering a few codes and scanning his eye, an elevator appeared from the floor. They entered and went down what felt like a few floors until they made it to the real base, it was much larger, with soldiers and scientists everywhere. He didn't have much time to examine anything before he was led to a large, white room, with no real defining features to speak of, besides a table and some chairs. "Just wait here, the others will be here shortly." Kane said as he let Subject D-023 into the room and began to leave.
"…Others?" He said quizzically.
"Yes, you aren't the only one we've called here Doctor." Kane stated. "There will be others, but I warn you before you meet them, remember what I said, we are desperate." He said mysteriously before leaving the room, leaving Subject D-023 to his thoughts.

From the limo to the Pentigon, William was explained why the government wanted him and how they were forming a small team. If he signed on he would be flown to a small island in the Bermuda Triangle, Will told the agents about his father and over the next few days Will was flown back to his home to collect his things as well as bury his father using American money. Within a fort night he was on yet another plane flying to the remote Island base, You will be a bit late Mister Foxx, don't worry all four of them will be there waiting for you by now. So he would be the last to join the group... "Who are... They?"
When first agreeing with the young woman to aid her employer and come along with her as she'd originally intended, Nevin had found safety in knowing that if anything were to go wrong he could overpower a simple clairvoyant and the driver of the white car, break out from his place on the back seat and run. However as their drive was brought to an end and he realized there would be more to the trip a subtle discomforted started to build inside of him again. The set of people who appeared to speak to him changed dramatically and soon enough he found himself boarding an airplane with operatives who looked neither as laid back or as easy to fend off as his original contact had been. It did not help that when left without supervision, a few of the soldiers on the flight flocked around him and decided to pass the time in trying to figure out what there was special about him while Nevin for the most part tried to drift away from them but also to find out where exactly they would be landing.
Once again on solid ground, he was glad to have his personal space to himself again, though it seemed a few of the soldiers had misread his silence and invited him to seek them out after whatever business he was brought in for was over. Nevin kept this in mind, knowing that connections could always turn out to be useful even if he didn't particularly like the people he'd met. For now though what he was most interested in was the structure he'd been brought to and details regarding his reason for being there.
He could assume from the length of the flight, the scenery he'd caught a glimpse of while they were in the air and the general appearance of the place where he'd arrived that he was now on another continent but he had very little idea where exactly. As he was finally led to what he hoped would be the location where his questions would be answered he wondered if any of the armed men or scientist they passed by could sense the shadowy figures that lingered close to him.
Finally, as the two men who'd lead him paused a door opened and granted him entrance into a predominantly white room. Nevin could see as he entered that he wasn't alone but with just a quick glance and study of the stranger inside decided that it was unlikely he would be able to clear up any of his confusion. It had already been mentioned to him that others were invited here to provide help in the same way he was and he assumed this only meant he wasn't first to arrive. Silently and without much of an expression on his face, Nevin gave a polite nod as greeting and walked through the room to place himself on the nearest free seat.

A few days had passed, before the man returned to Violet's Home. He told her that he needed her to go with him to the Global Special Defense Association HQ.
"Where we going?" Violet asked confused as the agent pulled into the airport. "Our headquarters are stationed off the main land. We've got a jet here to take us there." The Agent said as he pulled up to a Jet. The Agent led Violet onto the Jet before it took off. "How long is this trip going to take?" Violet asked in an irritated tone. "It should take a few hours. Said one of the other agents on the jet. A few hours later and some more impatient grumbling from Violet, the island came into sight. "Hey, if I go Beast mode on the island can someone keep a leash on me...." Violet said as she looked out the Jets window at the jungle below.
The Jet landed at the base's airport, with the Agent leading Violet into and through the base. After a while The Agent got to the room Darwin was led to and let Violet in. She was the first to arrive after Darwin. Violet blinked in confusion. "Why's there a gorilla in here?" She asked. "He's one of the members of the team you joined." The Agent said. "Really? Some big dumb monkey is in a government agency?" Violet asked in disbelief. "Technically he's an ape." The Agent said. "The others should be arriving soon so make yourself comfortable." The Agent said before leaving. Violet glanced back at Darwin before taking a seat.
Not long after she arrived, a young man arrived. He gave a nod to Violet and Darwin, apparently not as confused about the Gorilla's presence as she was. "Hey there." Violet said, as the man took a seat.

Now she didn't exactly like travel. She had a bad habit of motion sickness but this just wasn't fair. From what she had heard all the other members of this new team of hers got to ride on a plane. So why in gods name does she have to ride a fishing vessel it was ridiculous and so small. She sighs before finally being led on to the island in her cuffs next to her theripist/husband ' ugh what a day ' she thought as she was dragged into a big white room. She then surveyed the others in the room ' great we have an emo, a monkey, and a normo ....THIS IS GONNA BE GREAT!' She thinks with the worlds largest and scariest grin that even makes her husband shutter in fear
As he waited, Subject D-023 decided to examine the room, if anything out of sheer curiosity. He walked up to the wall and placed his hand on it, it felt like metal, but not quite steel… titanium maybe, he couldn't be sure. However, what really drew his attention was that as he placed his hand on the wall the area around his hand began to glow a faint green, but quickly disappeared as he removed the appendage. He knocked on the wall, waves of green light emanating from where he knocked.
"An energy field." He deduced, scratching his chin in fascination. "It didn't stop my hand from touching the wall, so it's not meant to protect from physical trauma, or perhaps it is designed to only protect from blows of a certain magnitude…" With that thought he raised his hand balled into a fist and knocked it on the wall, this time he couldn't feel the metal underneath and the whole wall glowed green for a moment. "It seems to be the latter." He said as he reached for his notepad, only to remember that he didn't have it with him.
Finally, he heard the door open and in came what he recognized as a human woman, he had only seen a few in his life, but the body structure was definitely that of a female primate. He only listened at Violet's displeased tone at the sight of him, he couldn't blame her, to her he must have just seemed like an ape banging on the wall in hopes of escape. He said nothing in response to her comment, he just gave a primal grunt and returned to his thoughts, though he clearly glared at her as she took her seat. Not too long after, another was sent in, this time a young man, who seemed much more composed then the earlier arrival. He only spared Subject D-023 and Violet a glance before taking a seat, but Subject D-023 almost immediately noticed the shadowy figures that followed close to him, and they seemed to have noticed that he noticed them.
'Parapsychological phenomenon, and it seems to be emanating from that boy… interesting.' He thought to himself, in the time that he spent locked in the facility, Subject D-023 had earned himself multiple PhDs, including one in Parapsychology, the study of paranormal and psychic phenomenon, though it wasn't until now that he had seen an actual case of such phenomenon. Perhaps that's why they wanted him, for his wealth of knowledge in all these different fields. He was given little time to ponder the possibility before the door opened again, this time two people, a man and a woman, entered. The man seemed normal enough, in fact he gave off the aura of an intellectual, not unlike himself, however the woman was a different story, she seemed to examine them all before cracking a horrifying smile, one that made the ape's hair stand on end.
'W-what… what is this feeling, this overwhelming feeling of dread and desire to leave this place… could this be... the fight or flight response?' He thought to himself. Despite being heavily genetically altered, he still seemed to retain some semblance of animal instinct, and right now it was telling him to get as far away from that woman possible. He remembered how often Kane stressed that he was desperate, and now he was beginning to realize just how desperate they were.

( so I'm guessing this thread is dead?)
((No, Foxx is going on a trip and he's been preparing the last few days, he said he'll post once he gets there.))
Fox arrived, as he suspected...last. Walking in he smiled, seeing the monkey would have been startling but he had been briefed on the heroes, or rather misfits on the island. "Will is my name... In case anyone wanted to know," he didn't need introductions but would accept them. It wasn't that he thought he was better then them, it was that after being home schooled and hidden inside for years he didn't exactly have very good social skills. Talking was fine but reading people wasn't his forte, "I'm allergic to nuts... And my reaction cancels out my powers."
He paused for a moment awkwardly. "Why tell people my weakness? Because then I have nothing to hide... Your my team, why hide things from you guys. Am I right?" Will didn't know what they had spoke of before he entered so he might as well tell them, "I saved the Flight 787 over New York, that's how I was discovered. I'm Canadian, and ummm, if we're choosing super hero costumes I really like the color blue."

To Nevin's misfortune the relative piece he'd found when he'd entered the white room began to fall apart as more people were brought in and the chamber started to feel more crowded and reminded him of the swarms of soldiers and scientists beyond the door. However despite his preference for quiet and isolation and the discomfort he felt in a crowd of strangers, he had little criticism for what were to become his team mates.
The girl who'd arrived before him seemed polite enough when greeting him and despite how small a gesture that was it at least meant he had nothing negative to associate her with for now.
The animal he'd assumed had to be more capable than it seemed became interesting to Nevin only after one of his shady companions had whispered into his ear and informed him that they, all of them, were being watched. Afterwards Nevin couldn't resist shifting his gaze to the other male to examine him more closely, though he was aware that by being so blunt in his curiosity meant he would perhaps come across as rude.
The pair who were the first to enter the room after him, and especially the strange woman and her crazed grin, nearly drove Nevin to ruin the perfectly blank expression he'd maintained the entire day and frown bitterly. It annoyed him to no end that he'd been labeled, especially when considering how the woman couldn't have studied any of them with more than a glance before assigning them all a stereotype. After having quite a few highly provocative creatures by his shoulder for years however, he knew how not to openly show he'd been irked.
Perhaps it was because of the bad mood he was left in that Nevin took a liking to the member of their team who arrived last. The man's naive, friendly nature was a breath of fresh air after the hostility he'd just encountered, even though it was possibly nothing more than an act and a method to gain allies. If a different composition of people filled the room Nevin might have perhaps even been polite enough and gave a hint to his own weakens in return to the other man revealing his.
-" I should have called dibs on blue..." He muttered in stead and his eyes dropping to his palm where more often than not a small notebook could be found. He was disappointing to remember how the object wasn't with him and he couldn't seek refuge in it's old pages and the symbols that covered them.

Violet glared at Catherine when she flashed her psychotic grin to everyone. She was tempted to shoot her a snarl with her beast form's fangs, but decided it wasn't worth the sore jaw she'd have for the rest of the day. Not only did growing her teeth out into fangs hurt like hell, her fangs were also too big for a human jaw to hold.
She quickly turned her attention to William confused as he explained his weakness. "Why tell people my weakness? Because then I have nothing to hide... Your my team, why hide things from you guys. Am I right?" he explained before he told everyone of a plane he'd saved, and choosing that he would get blue for his color. "Uh-huh, and what makes you so sure none of us won't try and backstab anyone in here? Specifically her." Violet said indicating Catherine.

" to be fair she's not lying it literally used to be our job before we came here to delve into the minds of other individuals" she states before putting her long hair into a pony tail that sits over her left shoulder and looking over everyone again before turning to her husband next to her as he brings out a laptop. She turns to violet and mutters
" class 4 shape changer, natural born, able to change form at will and on often occasions against it"
She then turns to Nevin and mutters .
" adolescent pursued by class 5 demonic apperaction, abilities gained,"
She turns to William and mutters
" William Foxx. Who's father recently passed, abilities: the ability to change his atomic structure down to a molecular level allowing him to adjust the density of his body to either resist or pass through all forms of matter"
Finally she turns to Darwin and finishes.
" subject D-023 another example of genetic experimentation done by the Darwin laboratories in order to gift animals with hyper intelligence. One of their first successful experiments with the ability hyper intellectual thought process and the ability to verbally communicate though often preferring not to....did you get all that Hun?" She asks the
Man next to her who seems to be typing on his lap top at alarming speeds as he soon finishes.
" yep that about covers it cat" he says with a smile and lightly kisses her cheek. This causes her to blush as she turns to look at the other individuals in the room..."what I'm insane not stupid"

Subject D-023 was somewhat surprised by William's friendly behavior, he was the only one to display this and didn't seem at all concerned about having just revealed his own weakness to a group of people who could, and would most likely, use it against him. He remained silent, but the boy's last comment caught his attention.
'Superhero, costumes, what a naive way of seeing the predicament we are all in, and yet… to gather us together like this, it really does seem like the half baked premise of a superhero origin story.' He thought. However, he didn't have long to think about this when Catherine began her own debriefing of her new teammates, she sat back and read off their characteristics as if she had files of them right in front of her, this certainly caught Darwin off guard, is she psychic, was she debriefed on them before hand, but he received his answer once she butchered his own background. She referred to "Darwin" as the name of the institute he was kept it, when in actuality it was the name of the project, and it's purpose was to study artificial evolution, not to specifically create hyper intelligent animals. He looked to his arm and realized he was still wearing an armband that had his experiment designation on it as well as the word "DARWIN", she must have also noticed Nevin's shadows and despite Violet's attempts to suppress it, she did end up baring her human teeth at the woman, suggesting an animalistic instinct; she wasn't reading their minds, she was just making assumptions based on her own observations. Despite this, he was still rather impressed, her confidence that she managed to read them accurately enough showed that she had done this before, next to himself she was most likely the most intelligent person in the room. However, in the end this was just a bluff, just her flexing her intelligence to the rest of them as if to display dominance, and he wasn't sure how they would all take that, especially Violet. Before anything else could be said the door opened and in came General Kane, holding what seemed to be a few documents as well as a remote.
"Well, I see you've all become acquainted with each other." Kane said to the group as he took his place at the head of the table. "Please, take a seat everyone, I suppose you'd all want some answers right about now." He said, gesturing to the empty seats before him.

"Well actually," but no more room to speak with the Gerneral guy entering. Will took a seat and waited for the man to speak.
Nevin devoted his attention to the military man as soon as he entered and took a seat, assuming from his clothes that he worked for the facility they found themselves in. Leaning back in the chair and placing his hands lightly on his lap he nodded in agreement when it was pointed out how impatient they must be for answers, though he was sure things would be explained now regardless if they gave any response.
