Hello!
My name is Esrael, and I've been roleplaying for a little over ten years (but I'm not that old, I promise). When I first began roleplaying I was a preteen on Neopets, then I very briefly moved on to Gaiaonline before spending several years on Proboards and finally Jcink. I've moved from the dog and wolf roleplaying community of my younger years (complete with purple prose and unnecessary fluff because we didn't know any better), to preferring classical/biblical mythology, high and urban fantasy, and general supernatural. The characters that have stuck with me have been demons, fallen angels, banshees, phoenixes, vampires, and the occasional proud zealot human.
I'm mostly here to have a place to store information on a select few of my characters, because I have piles and piles of Microsoft Word and Notebook files clogging up my computers dating back from 2012, and I really need to place to put it all together and keep it.
So... what's up? :'D

Hello and welcome to RPR! I hope you make lots of friends and enjoy your time here!
Welcome to RPR! Lots of people use the site to store their characters, so you're not alone in that! If you decide you want to RP here though, everyone is super friendly so I'm sure you'd have a blast!

This sounds like a fascinating mix. I dig it.

This is a great site for that, though I really hope we'll get to see you around, too!
Not too much is up for me, just trying to stay focused and push out a bit of productivity today. What's up for you?
You piqued my interest at urban fantasy and mythology, but when you said phoenixes, you hooked my full attention. Welcome to RPR! It's really sweet to meet you! My name is Lucree, but call me Light or whatever you wish that's kind!
So, other than urban and high fantasy, do you have any other RPs genres you can't get enough of? Do you have a favorite kind of character or archetype you like to play?
If you need anything at all, just ask me or any of the other helpful members here. We're happy to help newcomers to the site! Hope you enjoy yourself here!

Thank you for the warm welcome, everyone. I don't know if this forum is capable of pinging, so I'll just quote everybody individually l-lol.
Thank you! I love your Ziva icon, by the way -- it's a shame she (and now Tony) have left. I can't bring myself to watch anymore.
I have seen some groups already that have piqued my interest, but I'm going to lurk around for a little while to get a feel for the prevailing style and type of roleplay that people do here, if that makes sense. Thanks for the welcome!
Those were dark days... I'll admit that I do log in to my old account from time to time, but I refuse to look at my old posts and threads while I'm there. I don't want to relive my terrible writing LOL.
Several of them were on the same forum together. It was a lot of fun that lasted for several years; I miss it.
I've been sucked into the Pokemon GO craze, but the humid weather has kept me inside. I'm trying my best to at least feel productive by, well, getting ready to set up my old characters here haha.
I didn't get to play my phoenix character for too long, but my gosh was he loads of fun to create and play with.
I can't get enough of biblical/christian mythology. After growing up doing nothing but writing stray dogs and wolves in forests, my first "human" roleplay was an apocalyptic Russia on the bring of evangelical war. I was sixteen years old when I joined, and I was over twenty when it finally closed for good. I spent years reading about the myths of angels, demons, nephilim, good and evil, the nature of g-d, the differences between Lucifer and Satan, etc. I played a young demon child, a knowledge obsessed angel that fell, and everything in between. I fell in love with that genre, and it even influenced my faith in real life, and I made a lot of life-long friends.
I think that is the one genre I can never get enough of.
When it comes to characters, I've come to enjoy those that blur the lines of good and evil and sit in an uncomfortable grey area that forces others to constantly check and re-check their own sense of morality. I love to write characters who believe in irrational things, but approach it in such a rational, logical way, that even the other players are convinced my character may be right.
... I didn't mean to write a wall at you, I'm sorry LOL.
Did you really follow me onto this site? LOL.

Thanks It is a shame. I haven't seen season 12 yet, and I'm not sure I actually want to..
I, too, have been sucked into the Pokemon Go craze. It's super fun! What team are you playing?
Welcome to the RPR. Hope you have a great time here and make lots of new friends.
Hi Esrael, welcome to RPR 😀
Welcome to rpr c:
Hi and welcome to RPR!
Hello hello! I'm sure that RPR will be a great resource for you. I've been able to transfer pretty much all of my RP character info off of my desktop to here. With backups kicking around, of course. Though admittedly, I don't have a huge number of characters.
Welcome!
Welcome!
Ha! Nice to see someone else with my exact same background in roleplaying! Oh those charming Neopets wolf days, all the faes and brutes with their shining orbs
Glad to know I'm not the only one who survived that upbringing. Welcome!

Neopets has a chat feature? You mean I could have been rping all that time I was playing faerie bubbles? :o
Welcome to RPR, Esrael. I hope you are able to find some awesome new rps here!
Not to advertise, but I'm part of a magic people vs humans group if you would like to join. It sounds like it might be your cup of tea. It's called Monsters and Hunters if you would like to take a look.
Irregardless, I can tell that we share similar interests! If you aren't too busy, I would love to chat or/and rp with you sometime!

Howdy, Esrael, and welcome to RPR!
Oh, classical and biblical mythology (any mythology, really) is the best! That roleplay in apocalyptic russia must have been quite a blast. (And surprisingly long lived, wow!) And characters with a grey morality are fascinating, kudos to that.
Also, feel free to ask us anything if you've got any questions, or pass by the official chat!

Thank you for the welcome InsaneShadow, MSochist (great name lmao), Mirabell, JTA12, and Ben!
I'm not the biggest fan of Bishop. I liked Kate, and I liked Ziva who came after her, but for some reason Bishop just doesn't do it for me. She doesn't have that... natural/organic/living dynamic with Tony and McGee that Kate and Ziva had. You should give season twelve a try regardless, though; at least watch one episode before you give up on it completely.
I'm Team Mystic! What about you?
You can't see it, but I'm sitting here wagging my tassel happily. (The language we used back during those roleplays... Who thought that was a good idea?!) Yes, I have survived, and I've made it to the other side. Thanks for the welcome! o/
Neopets did not (and still does not) have a chat feature, but there was a roleplay sub-forum that I and many others made use of despite the 500 character limit! Many people roleplay in guilds as well.
I'm certainly open to chatting with anyone who wants to. :0 And I'll definitely take a look at that group.
I don't know how anyone can dislike mythological roleplays. The genre has so much potential and room for re-interpretation; it's great. Thanks for the welcome.

Yea, I know what you mean. I will give it a try, as soon as I have the ability to which may be a while. Do you like the other NCIS's?
