Slice of life, adventure, friendship(PG romance possible if the plot goes that direction).
Era is not very human looking by default but being a robot her apperance can be changed with upgrades.

Genral Rotone or Smithy Magnum are good with machines. Maybe one of them could find and fix?(though Smithy is a bit more of a controlling jerk, so maybe not Smithy if you don't want that)
