In a world ruled by God's, it's only natural that they would want someone to keep them, or their treasures safe from each other. When a creature has been made or developed by a God, they are sent immediately to be trained, taught, and sent back to their charges. However there are a few cases where Gods want to just create beings. Usually letting them roam freely until called upon.
There will be a time, however, when the world eater will come to try to devour this planet and all who dwell on it. It could be today, or five years from now. Eventually, it will come and the news will spread terror and cause havoc. That is where the Guardians will come in full force and helping to fight the giant worm. For now however, everything is like it always has been. Peaceful and somewhat noisy in the Guardian hut.

"Ugh! stop it you mutt." Zelph growled. Her and Diaze tussled in a cloud of dust. Braux sat calmly to the side reading as he always seemed to do. Diaze grunted, "You burnt my meat! Blasted Chimera." Zelph pulled at his hair in laughter, "and you got drool all over my plate you intolerant excuse for a Cerberus. You think Hades is going to like you drooling all over the place." Braux turned his page and pushed up his glasses in irritation. Diaze growled and pinned her to a table, "That's not funny."
Zelph stuck out her tongue, then with a smile, she blew smoke in his face. He coughed and blundered backward, giving Zelph a chance to leap into him. The force carried them backwards and into a pile of buckets and other small items. Both coughed at the stirred up debris and when it finally cleared, Braux was standing over them with a emotionless face. Zelph and Diaze knew him well enough to know that he was upset with both of them. His soft but stern voice filled the room, "That is enough."
The room was a mess now, broken tables and chairs all over the place. "If you two want to brawl, you do it outside." Zelph looked down in shame while Diaze rolled his eyes. "She started it." Zelph snapped her gaze at him and was about to punch him, but Braux snapped his fingers and made her freeze mid-way. "Out." he pointed to the door. They scrambled over each other trying to get out the hut. Outside, it wasn't five minutes and they were brawling again while Braux watched and sighed. They weren't related in any way. They were created from the same beastly wheel. He was a hydra, and the voices of all his heads were constantly going.

For hours they tumbled about, until finally they laid heaving and gasping for air. After a few minutes she stood up and brushed off her clothes and helped Diaze up. He stood with a small grunt and wiped off his clothes as well, looking up at the starry sky. "You really think Hades will want me?" he sighed, he purple eyes closed and he began to walk. Zelph frowned and followed, "Why wouldn't he want you?" they approached their sitting tree and began to climb. Diaze helped Zelph up, though she really didn't need it.
They may fight eighty percent of the time, but they were really close. Braux was close to them as well, but mainly as the one in charge and keeping them in check. "Has...has Braux tried to....you know." Zelph leaned back against the tree and sighed. "Not here lately. I don't think I could take him as my half...I can't understand the way he is. I mean I know he is hydra, but can you imagine all those voices in his head?" her ruby eyes closed. "Hmm. Are you going to tell him?" his thumbs twiddled together. "You know-" Diaze was interrupted by Braux's voice. "Time to come back in." Diaze sighed and he and Zelph made their way back inside.
