"Acolytes," a dark voice sounded in the front of a large crowd of young people. The voice was not loud, nor did it try and be so... But it carried like thunder. "You have come to be Sith have you not?"
A mumble of approval echoed through the crowd... At least half of them.
"Wrong!" The man yelled, this time his voice seemed to shake the room. He was tall, unusually tall for a human. He stood nearly eight foot, his skin was nearly as dark as the night sky, he had long brown hair and a muscular build that would make any enemy think twice before challenging him.
"I am Master Tyrae Esazie. You have been sent to me for the next leg of your training. You think you have come here to be Sith but the truth is we have brought you here to die."
The crowd murmered once more, some looking back and forth between eachother.
"If you survive my training, and I stress the word IF, then you take the final trials and become Sith. Now, are there any questions?"

Garis stood amongst the crowd, his fist clenched tightly. He wouldn't accept failure anymore. His left hand clenching tighter and tighter, as the moterized joints screeched shut. His left arm at the bicep was artificial and crude. As if hastilly slaped on his body. The parts mis matched but this fact hardly bothered him. Though Garis was only a child, many other acolytes kept their distance from him. he wore no shirt so as to show all that looked at him the twin lightsaber burns that trailed across his spine. Garis' legs clicked with each step for they too were prosthetics. Though they were much more identical, fashioned from old protocol droids legs.
He was not a happy child anymore, for the dark side flowed through him. He raised his prosthetic arm high into the sky and shouted aloud, "When do we start!" He didnt fear the old man that stood before the crowd. Garis had waited long enough to receive his training, he wanted nothing more than to obtain power now.

Raze Dornayth stood near the middle of the crowd. He listened to the Master speak. His words did not scare him as they seemed to disturb some of the others. He was studied... he knew coming in that this is how it would be. The strong survive.
He looked over to the young boy with the mechanical limbs. Such a simple question... But Raze could feel the desire for power in him when he focused on his presence.
Tyrae looked over at the raised prosthetic arm. "As soon as no one decides they have any further questions." His answer was blunt and simple.
In the back another hand was raised, though you could barely see the tips of the fingers on it over the heads of the other acolytes. "When do we get lightsabers?" a female's voice asked. She was so short she could hardly be seen. The blond headed girl stood, hand still in the air.
Tyrae looked around, missing her hand and unable to determine who asked the question. The crowd parted, revealing the short young women.
Tyrae turned glarred at the short blond in the back. "When you crawl out of the graves alive, covered in blood, with the heart of a tomb gundark in your hand," he said coldly. "And if you kill one before I tell you to... I will kill you."
The young women didn't seem shaken at all. An evil look entered her eye and she smiled. "Let's get started, then."
Tyrae glared, looking her over up and down for a moment. Then he turned around and walked back to the front of the class, his back faceing the students. "First thing is first." he turned and looked at them. "You have all been given bunk numbers. Take what few personal belongings you may have to your bunk and secure them in your locker. Wait there until further notice."
The crowd slowly dispersed, chit chat starting up here and there. Most students gave Master Tyrae a wide berth and headed out the hallway to the east. A few, the young blond included, walked straight past him, inches away.
Raze did neither. He stood and observed until most everyone had shuffled out of the room. Tyrae eyed him questioningly but said nothing. As the last acolytes made their way towards the hallway Raze fell in with them. He headed to his bunk. He also now knew who would likely be his stiffest competition. Body language could tell a lot about a person.
Once Raze found his bunk he opened the lockbox at the end at tossed in a few data cards, a data crystal, a data pad, and a single black rock. He climbed up on the top of the triple high bunk bed and settled in. He closed his eyes, but didn't sleep. He didn't suppose he would be doing much of that anymore. He had been preparing for it, training his body to rest without sleeping through extensive meditation. This way, while his body recovered his senses were heightened and alert.

Being dismissed Garis watched his fellow students walk away out of the halls. He was the least bit happy having to wait for his training. His old master gave him nothing to learn or improve on, and when he failed was tossed away like garbage. If it was a gundark's heart he wanted Garis would gladly retrieve one. Its not like he hadn't crawled his way back from the brink of death once. Though he would need to think of a plan first, and he knew just what to do.
He saw Tyrae's glance over at him as he walked out of the hall. Perhaps this new master knew what Garis was capable of. Following his fellow classmates into the bunks Garis began to hear whispers of the other children as well as see darting eyes. He knew what they were about, the stories had spread across Korriban by now. The child that killed his master, a body found torn apart piece by bloody piece. All the masters found was a small child covered in the blood of his basters corpse.
Finding his bunk he looked at the chest and the bunk, it had no cushions or padding. it was carved from stone and looked hard. Garis sat down on the edge and began to formulate his plan. He knew the risks taking on a Gundark where and started guessing which children would fall prey to the creatures large mandibles. Garis had no intention to make friends for they would just weigh him down in his opinion. he looked across the room to Raze who sat on his bunk meditating with his eyes shut.
The blond walked up to Garis and stared him in the eyes, "Is what those other kids say true?
Garis looked at the girl with confusion and a little anger, "You mean did I kill my master?" He paused to look at the blond girl before he answered his own question, "Yes. I murdered him."

Raze perked up hearing the young blond over the rest of the crowd. He didn't move or open his eyes but he paid attention tonwhat was being said. He didn't care for rumors... They only muddied already unclear waters... Now, however, he had an answer straight from the boys mouth. This one was going to perform, he could tell. The blond would do well, allso.
He waited to hear how the conversation went.
He waited to hear how the conversation went.
The blonds eyes widened with glee as Garis spoke. His cold tone and harsh glare were off putting but it didn't show the girl off. Instead she sat down on the bunk behind her to learn more of his tale.
"And the limbs, how did those happen?"she asked Garis. He didn't want to talk as it was distracting him from thinking of a plan.
"My master did this to me." He glared at the girl to try and scare her off. But she stayed and asked further. "Why?"
Garis rolled his eyes at her, "I couldn't use the force." His eyes surveyed the room to see who was still listening. Besides them no one else in the room was whispering but listening. Listening to what Grais was saying.

Raze continued in his state of meditation but he too was listening. He had to get to know each acolyte here and this was a good way tonstart. Observation. He knew that sooner or later the more he knew about them all would help hin wither work with them or defeat them if they got in his way.
The blond girl seemed interested in the story more than anyone. Raze took special note of this.

"Wait if you can use the for ether how did..." Garis interrupted the blond with a growl. His metallic arm began crunching the edges of the stone bedding as he stared her off. The blonde stood up realizing she had overstayed her welcome with Garis. She took two steps before turning to him. "Don't think I'm going to pass the chance to retrieve those light sabers." She stood proudly before Garis, but he ignored her and began planing how to retrieve that heart.
It was obvious that the girl was arrogant for she looked at Raze who meditated. "Hey you!" She said pointing a Raze. She didn't wait for a response as she spoke out again."What's your deal, are you really meditating?" Garis' eyes moved to the boy the blonde was shouting at.

Raze said nothing as the blond called out to him. His meditation was his solitude from the workd. It was his one escape. All around him there were people... He hated people. People were weak.
The blond kept pestering. "Hey! Hey you!"
Raze still ignored her. He more than ignored her he completely toned her out. He could feel every move she made and her intent but he could not hear the words coming out of her mouth. Meditation brought him close to the dark side, his froend, his solace.
The blond moved towards him and Raze knew she intended to steike him with her hand. Just before she got to him he opened his eyes and a dull red light shone out of them as a red mist swirled inside his typically white eyes.
The blond paused as she saw his eyes. "Freek..." She said, not wanting to let on that it unnerved her. She then turned and walked away, heading back to her bunk. Raze closed his eyes and continued meditating.

Garis could feel the dark side swelling in Raze from across the room. he couldn't tell if Raze was stronger than him, or if he was weaker. The thought made Garis angry for he swore to himself to never be anyones slave anymore. As Garis lay down on the bed the lights flicked off leaving them all in darkness. He heard the voices of the children mumbling and talking about what the next few days held in store for them all.
Garis would grow annoyed by the talking and slam his prosthetic fist into the solid stone. The room echoed with the sharp metallic clang. The talking would die down and he was able to start sleeping, though he could feel the presence of the other kids, moving, breathing, some even quietly crying so as not to sound weak. But he knew who they were. Garis' eyes remained open through the night, slowly watching everything around him.

Raze, once more, meditated. He pretty much never slept. He could goninto a state of meditation where he was basically half asleep and half mesitating. In this way his body recovered and communed with the darkside all night, he healed and recovered faster etc...
The talking through the night didn't bother Raze. His meditation closed it out. When morning came he was well rested and the force filled his viens with ambitions.
Others started moving around and getting ready for the day.

Garis awoke to see the other students moving and talking. He wondered why that was the case, should not Tyrae have woken them all up yelling and shouting. Garis thought the lack of an instructors yelling was preculiar.
"Why hasn't anyone come in. Why are we all waking up on our own. This isn't right." He looked to Raze feeling the power of the dark side filling him was he able to feed from the force?
"Do you think this is a test for us?" Garis directed his question to Raze who sat above him.

Raze glanced below to Garis as he realized the question was aimed at him. He shrugged. "I think everything in this place is a test." He watched the others get ready for the day... They clearly lacked purpose in their moods. Some mumbled and others complained.
Before long fights started breaking out. Some of the acolytes were nervouse and didn't know how else to handle it other than through violence.

Garis' eyes rolled in exasperation as the other students started fighting. He thought it was stupid that such a petty brawl started. He looked about the room to see if the doors remained open, to his surprise they were gone. The stone arches were non existent as if they were never there in the first place.
"First test, get out of the room?" He directed his question to Raze.
The other students were shouting and cheering on five brats who still were fighting. Turing to the commotion Garis lifted his prosthetic leg high into the air and brought if crashing down onto the floor with enough force the shatter the cold stone. The cracks spread across the floor and the nearest walls to Garis. A crack even spread into the middle of the fighting, causing everyone to jump in fear of the loud noise. The blonde hopped down from her bunk and stood at Garis' side.
"I think you have their attention now, wouldn't you all agree?" She directed her question at the crowd that looked at the two.

Raze walked over to where thendoors used to be. "Well... We were never told we had to stay in the room." He spoke. He glanced back as Garis grabbed the attention of the crowd and the blond joined him at his side.
"This rabble of weaklings is going to get themselves killed before their training is half over." He mumbled these words mostly to himself in refference to the other acolytes. Truth be told he could see him, Garis, and the blond, possibly being the only three to survive the training.
He put a hand on the wall and closed his eyes. "It feels like it's there... But in the force it's like the doorway is still there."

Garis looked to the wall that once held their entrance. his eyes couldn't see the doorway anymore, but he too felt something off about the wall. The blonde turned and followed wondering what it was Raze was talking about. The cold red stone wall stood before them. its rough cut surfaces showed no sign of tampering in the slightest. However the floor below it was smooth, from the constant steps walker would take to enter and exit the room. Small piles of sand lay untouched in the corners some even on the ground, but their was too many footprints in them to tell who had passed though.
"Do you think its some sort of illusion, or did someone really take the time while we slept to seal us in?" Garis directed his question to both Raze and the blonde. Some of the students walked over to examine the hole Garis' foot kicked into the ground.
"If it is a trick, do you think we could break out, or do we have to solve some sort of puzzle to free ourselves? And how many of us will be allowed to leave?" The Blonde added to the discussion. She was now realizing what their particular situation was. She could easily look over the young six year old Garis, though she looked at both boys in wonder feeling immense power flowing through and around the two.

"I'm not sure..." Raze said. "But there is only one way to find out."
Raze concentrated on the wall and pushed against it. "It feels fake," he said. "But it won't budge..."
He stopped and looked it over with a deep expression on his face. The blond glanced back and forth between him and Garis. The three of them seemed to imerge even this early on as the leaders of the pack as all the other children congregated behind them to watch.
"Maybe if we all try," Raze suggested. He lut his hand back on the stone and the blond put her hand on it as well. When she did, however something caught Raze's eye.
"Wait what is that?" He asked, pointing to a spot beside her hand.
"That?" She asked.
"Yes." Raze examined it closely. It was a marking... An ancient rune. "It's a letter in the ancient Sith language. If it's anriddle maybe there are more that tell us something."
Raze wasn't sure if it was something or nothing.

((may I join with Roemello))
Hey, the other member had to pull out but ifnyou would like to join up you and I could keep going.
(Sorry for the late reply since it was dead I had not been checking)
(Sorry for the late reply since it was dead I had not been checking)
(That's fine, I know a fair bit about Star wars not the most. Also Roemello is not connected to the force meaning he can't use the abilities but his "species" affords him other abilities. This should be fine in a world with many walks of life right)
