Jessie woke up in a long black Victorian dress, and in the Victorian era; at least she though it was somewhere around the time. It reminded her of the pictures her mother had of France in the Victorian era. It was dark and she had a hard time telling where she was at but it looked like the opening of an alley.She stood up and looked around the area she woke up in. She saw that it looked excalty like the time she though she was in. She rubbed her head, confused as to how she ended up here. She didn't think it was possibe that she could have gone back in time, but she has since many weird things. "Well, I guess I am stuck here until I find out how to get back to my time." she though to herself, soon walking around. She felt ackward in the Victorian dress, seeing she rarely wore dresses and skirts.

David had just left for his work. He wore his favoite black suit with top hat and cane. He just so happen to be passing by when he saw her coming out of the hallway, looking a bit confused. "Is something wrong Miss?" he asked coming closer, rasing a brow slightly "Are you alright?"

Jessie looked at the man that spoke to her. "Yes, it seems that I don't know where I am at." She though that he must be from this time and doesn't know anything about the time she was in before. She could feel that she was her normal shoes, black and gray sneakers that were covered by the long dress. "Do you mind telling what year it is, sir."

He rose a brow again "um...1895?..." he said, almost unsure if it was true or not. 'how does someone not know the year? Day, yeah of course, month? a bit of a stretch, but year?' he thought in his head. "Umm..Maybe you should get home...and some sleep." he thought she might be drunk

Jessie looked around to see any signs but they didn't look anything like the modern world to her. She rubbed the back of her neck, a little embrassed. "I don't know where I am. I-" She stopped herself, not thinking it was a good idea to get into detail of what she could remember. She started to notice her memory was hazy, but she kind of guessed it was because she's lived longer than it looked, but only since 1912. She looked around seventeen or eighteen, even though she became a sin at the age of sixteen but she always looked a bit of older.

"I?..." David said, trying to make her contuine but stop himself "Look, d you know where you live? I can try and get you there..."

Jessie mumlbed something under her breath. She knew she was about to say was going to sound stupid, and she hated when she sounded stupid. "No..... I can't remember anything." She looked down at the ground, flushed at her stupidity.

David stared at her for a few seconds, then widen his eyes and blushed "OH my god, I am so sorry. I tho-Never mind, did you hit your head or something?" he asked getting a little bit closer to her "Maybe you should come with me. It sounds like you have amnesia." (I think thats how you spell it. Sorry if not)

Jessie glanced up at him. "It's alright. I don't think I hit my head but I'm not sure." She tried remembering what happen before she found herself in this era. Just her fighting some guy then she blacked out.

"How about I get you to my shop, get something into you and we can call a flat-foot....a police officer over and maybe get a idea if anyone is looking for you okay? Don't worry about paying, it'll be on the house." he said, trying to sound confronting to her

Jessie nodded. "Thank you. I am sorry for the trouble, sir." She didn't think it was a good idea to call the police since this isn't her time. She just hoped there was a way to get around people finding out about her not belonging this time.

He gave her a slight smile "Okay, follow me." as they started to move "By the way, my name is David, David Lester. What should we call you?" he asked her, looking over his shoulder at her

Jessie followed behind him. "Jessie." She didn't think it was a good idea to say her last name since she had her last name changed to Kormano when she started living on her own.

"Okay...Jessie...Anything else you remember?" he asked, slowing down a little, letting her walk beside him

Jessie shook her head. "Not really." She could only remember what happened before she woke up here. She remembered who she was and what she was. She was use to being called Anger instead of her real name.

"Too bad..." Once they got to his little shop, he opened the door for her "Okay, in you go, I'll see to making you some tea or coffee, then we can see about the police..." he said letting her enter

Jessie walked into the small shop and looked around. "Yeah..." She knew it was going to be hard to get around talking to the police. She guessed they would think she was someone from a different country and somehow sneaked into here.

He lead her to a table "Sit down..." he said then walked quickly over to the counter, he placed his cane under the top, on a self, and got out some things and started to put some tea together. Once it was done, he walked over to her and set the pot down with two cups. He sat down opposite her, "Okay, drink something then I'll see about calling someone..."

Jessie sat down at the table a took a sip of the tea that David gave her. "You don't need to worry about calling the police, I'm sure my memory will return soon." Her voice sounded cheery, but it was forced along with the smiled on her face.

"Are you sure? What if you have family, and they search for you? And what will you do until your memory returns?" he asked, trying to convince her. It was the best way...
