Hwoarang (played anonymously)

It seemed like it was about to rain. Judging by the ominous formation of the clouds in this lonesome desert. In this desert stood a rather robust and rustic type tavern. Though, it could house anything and anyone. It didn’t stop someone from entering it. A rather mysterious figure. A figure that donned a cowboy hat and orange tinted goggles that were pulled over his eyes. Along with a poncho wrapped around his body. The way they were dressed, you’d think that they were in a western or something. The sounds of his spurrs seemed to make a metal like ting as he took a step. With his hat tipped down, he took a seat.

Outside however, thunder could be heard. However, it was rather hard to hear, due to the over abundance of the patrons in the tavern. It was a rarity for rain to happen in a desert as is.

That stranger in the poncho and hat took a seat at one of the tables and rested his hand on the side of his face. With his hat down, which obscured his face and his poncho wrapped round him, he did give a rather ominous feel to him.

That didn't stop some of the patrons from staring at him and exchanging some words. The red headed wanderer was somewhat new here and well, kind of stuck out like a sore thumb.

He remained silent, he didn’t want to say a word. Even if someone started something, Hwoarang wouldn't be hesitant to give them a beat down.
Lily (played by Chrysler)

Behind the bar, in the back was a . She worked for the tavern to help pay for the small house she had bought for herself.

((Hi, I hope this thread's still open!))

Milling about the tavern, Luminita had spent enough time in this desert to grow more than sick of it. The heat had set a nigh-constant glitter and glisten to her tanned skin, and there was only so much that this little town had to offer her. None truly had anything worth taking, and no souls just ripe for the taking that she hadn't already cultivated.

Boredom drove her into the tavern, but cheap liquor kept her there, and she found herself staring at each newcomer as they entered. Snickering at a few, her several hundred years told her that it was, perhaps, a childish form of entertainment to stare and amuse herself with less-than polite commentary to herself, but childish was better than none at all. As another newcomer entered, oddly dressed and with a strange hat.

Biting down on her lip, then, she threw caution to the wind and stood from her seat. Teal skirts swaying around her hips, her light muscles glistened lightly and she fanned herself from the desert heat. The sound of thunder outside was a bit of a relief, and as if he was some sort of harbinger of relief, she gestured for an extra tankard of ale, snatching it up once it was placed down. Sashaying to the table where the stranger sat, she placed down the fresh tankard in front of him, silently settling herself across from him.

More people were arriving. Mainly to avoid the oncoming storm. Which it seemed like it was the thing. He wasn't to ask any questions. It was best to remain silent and avoid any conflict. From the reflection from his goggles. One a worker and someone who sat across from him. Hwoarang didn't bother pushing up his goggles or his hat. Instead he kept he mysterious vibe to him. He gestured his hand a bit and gave a small nod.

"Yo..." He said in a rather muffled tone. "'Scapin' the storm?" He asked. "Seemed pretty grim out there, y'know..."

He rested his hands on the table as he tipped his hat up a bit. Maybe it was move it from his face? This person didn't seem too threatening or nosey.

(Surprise us.)
(Okay, I have an idea then ^^)

What the mysterious young woman Vita De Luca was doing here, was just as much of a mystery as she might seem to be. She didn't seem to be here on any official business, but then again, she could probably just be seeking shelter from the storm that was raging outside. She wore black pants and long brown leather boots with a small heel. Her hair was black as coal and slightly wavy. It was windblown, a bit messy and wet. Her skin glistened. It was radiant, if not a little bit tanned as though she spent a great amount of time outside in the sun. Her lips were pink like raspberry, and her eyes untamed like an ocean and as grey as the storm outside. She had just stepped through the door at this very moment, and anyone who saw her might notice the gun that was elegantly placed by her waist in a holster. The handle was a dark brown and smooth. It looked pretty old-fashioned. She scanned the place quickly before she walked up to the bar to order some Rum. She needed something right now. It was pretty cold outside and she barely managed to get inside before it hit. There was some mud under the soles of her shoes and a few grains of sand in her hair. Her steps were just as elegant as they were determined. Her hips swayed slightly with every step she took. She appeared fit and strong. She ignored the looks she was given as she walked through the room, and instead ordered what she came for and sat down.

Pushing the fresh tankard at Hwoarang where he sat across from her, Luminita situated herself as comfortably as she could get. She crossed her legs and adjusted her billowing skirt, and folded her arms in front of herself.

"Da," she hummed, sipping at her own ale. It wasn't cool, not exactly, but it was just enough to loosen the heay that enveloped her. "Escaping a lot of things, but...aren't we all?"

Shifting to rest her chin on her hand, she studied the stranger, ignorant to the roaring of the tavern and rumbling of thunder outside. "What's your story?"
Rayne (played by Space-Explorer)

/| Mind if I join in?

Rayne was on his way to explore around the city since he has been fighting off the monsters. With his black jacket covered in red designs, a green shirt that doesn't cover his waist, his pants with black with red stripes, and a collar with red designs and a silver necklace. With his pistol equipped to his right hip, he placed his hands onto his pocket. His green eyes scan around the area.

He had a feeling that he needed to get something to drink. Rayne then begins to see a tavern in front of him. He proceeds to walk inside as he let out a normal expression on his face. "Seems like a drink can be fair enough for me." He thought to himself while he begins to see a few people sitting down in a stool.

(It's okay if I join? )

Allec was walking on the street while he was reading a newspaper that suddenly his eyes caught his attention to this odd tavern. So he decided to check it that he slowly open the door and saw few people inside the tavern. Allec avoid eye contact on the people that he sat on the side corner of the stool that he asked the bartender for a light beer. While he was waiting for his drink, he was focusing on the classified ads on the newspaper that he was hoping to find a right job just to pay the debt on the apartment he rent.

More and more people roamed in. Seemed like everyone wanted to avoid the oncoming storm. Hwoarang then looked over at who was talking to him. He gave a simple nod

"I'm fine... seems like this place is gettin' rather packed. I don't blame'em... The rain... no one likes it.."
Sylvania (played anonymously)

((Is it safe to assume that, this place is more of a modern tavern and town, over medieval? Well, the timeline also being more modern?))

On the outskirts of a rather sizable, though still small comparatively....what was this, an oasis? a town? village? whatever it was, the woman had brought her vanner stallion to a halt. Hearing the sounds of thunder, she'd turn in her perch atop the back of her animal and glance behind her, and then up.

Clouds were forming, and the smell of rain was in the air. The gypsy, however, being no stranger to the desert....knew that the smell of rain did not actually -mean- rain. In the desert, it was usually far too hot and the wetness would dry up before it had a chance to hit the ground. No..no, storms in the desert usually consisted of dangerous lightening, as the air was extra dry...and even more dangerous sandstorms.
Even one accustomed the that kind of weather, did not wish to be caught in it. The desert did not provide much shelter from such ominous occurrences.

Smirking, she'd turn back around and nudge her horse gently to signal him to move forward. Looking about, she'd notice that this....whatever it could be called...did not have a whole lot to offer. A market, where everyone seemed to be closing shop in preparation for the incoming storm, a small residential district, a stable (desert dwelling people usually did not ride in on vehicles, but horses and camels and such) and...oh....
...Of course, there would be a tavern. Why wouldn't there be a tavern? It's not like alcohol didn't dehydrate you faster or anything, especially in the heat. It made perfect sense for there to be a tavern in the midst of the scorching desert.

After taking her steed to the stable and paying the fair to keep him there, she'd made her way to the tavern.

Standing now, in front of the building, she'd glance up. "The Laughing Raven..." speaking lowly to herself. Giving a humm, she'd look toward the door. Even from outside, one could tell that it seemed to be rather busy. Not like that was going to stop her. Pushing the door open, she'd step inside.

In would enter a woman whose garb would indicate that she was not a city dweller, by any means. As the day had been hot, her red-velvet hair was wrapped in a silk scarf, with bits of her bangs spilling out from the front. A true bronze beauty from exotic lands, the shade of her skin would tell that she was one used to being in the sun. A permanent tan.
Flowing from her hips were various layers of fabric, different hue's of purple, that made up her skirt. The bottom hem was uneven, as the skirt came up more on one side, and gathered into a modest slit. When she moved, this would give a brief glance to well toned calves. The top half of her form was clothed in a shoulder bearing top that matched the darker purple in her skirt. It ended just above her belly button, exposing maybe two inches of her midriff (more if she moved).

As she walked, light jingles could be heard. If one cared to look, their eyes would eventually be drawn down to where the noise came from. Her feet. Well, her ankle, on which a silver band, decorated with different colored gems and small bell charms, rested. She was also barefoot.

Graceful steps carried her from the door to her destination. The bar. Her hips and body had a natural sway to them as she moved around tables, chairs, and other patrons, the fabric of her skirt flowing in time with her bodies movements.
Once she reached the bar, she'd wait to catch the attention of one of the tenders. "Lamb chops with spiced potatoes and steamed carrots." she'd pause, leaning in closer to catch what the tender said, "No, no gravy, please. And honey mead." after placing her order, she'd wait for how much it would cost, then pay.

After paying, she'd turn and give a glance around the tavern. Her eyes did not focus on anyone, save for if they gave her a greeting, to which she'd either wave gingerly or offer a smile and a nod. Spotting an empty table off away from the crowd, she'd make her way over after letting the bar staff know where to find her.

She was passing by the table at which Hwoa and Lumi were sitting, when someone at the table behind them pushed their chair out rather hastily and caused the girl to almost loose her balance. "Hey!" voice coming out in a tone of surprise and annoyance. Good thing about being a dance, you're rather quick on your feet and able to keep your balance better than most. She used this to her advantage to move out of the way of being pinned between two chairs, though, most likely brushing up slightly against the man with the orange goggles and poncho.

Thankfully, the other patron that pushed back his chair, was not the sort of drunk or rowdy to start trouble. He'd apologize with a crimson face at noticing the glare from her and then sit back down.
In her own attempt to escape being trapped, she hadn't realized she'd brushed up against anyone, so...sadly, no apology was offered to goggles man or the woman that sat with him.

Muttering under her breath, she'd continue to make her way over to the table near the wall. Once there, she'd set down a leather bag that had been slung over her shoulder and go about releasing her hair from it's constraint. She was far enough away from anyone else's table to really be concerned about her hair falling into anyone's food. Waves and curls of that red-velvet hair fell down her back, reaching to the back of her knees. She would take the silk scarf and tie it around the top of her head in typical "fortune teller" fashion, before rummaging through her pack to find a rather intricately designed wood flute. Setting it on the table, she'd dig more to find a cleaning cloth, special oil and other misc items for cleaning and upkeep of the instrument. And there she sat, going about the process of cleaning the flute while she waited for her food.

(sorry, I took a bit of liberty with..things, since you said it was a tavern and didn't describe much of anything else, town wise. Also, I'm used to the more medieval setting so lol, my post somewhat reflects that. I understand if the setting isn't medieval, though :) )
