Neji was soooooooo excited he could barely contain himself and then he was scolded and the rather enormous bolf deflated. He sat on his butt and rolled out his hips, his forepaws planted between his rear legs that stuck out like he was a puppy, and his head drooped down like she was going to smack him with his ears down to his eyes and his fatty lips twitching. He looked pitiful right?! Except for the fact that his gold eyes were full of mischief!

He still had the bag in him mouth and he lowered his head more when it was pointed out to him that he'd bulldozed people. "I'm sorry." It was muffled but it sounded like a child would apologize for something, that soft blubbery voice that indicated that the child knew they were in trouble but also could barely contain their elation at having such fun.

He lowered the bag down and used his nose to push it further into the space between himself and Chiara. "I...was at a bakery. It is my first day out of woods, I'm all better! So I got a cuppy cake and was just well...I kept this last one because it was sooooo perfect. It's a bright shade of gray (pink) with white (cream), and some sort of sweet smelling gray thing with a stem on top (a cherry). And it smelled...it smelled...like food heaven! So I saved it." He had a big lip filled grin on his face and he just couldn't help it, it was PERFECT.

"And now the wolf thing is talking?! Today is just getting weirder by the minute..." Nomti sighed and wiped as much icing off of his hoodie as he could and knelt in front of Melle. "Do you know the house number or street name where your owner lives?"

Melle closed her eyes, thinking, "Well, it's on Acadia drive, but we drove for a long time. I don't think we're in the same city any more." She was making faces behind the plastic, playing with her hair, "It's a blue house, with a chimney and a small backyard. No front yard really. It's a craphole." She couldn't believe she had just said that, but she meant it.

Chiara wasn't fooled by Neji's pouting. "What did you use to pay for your cupcake?" She had a feeling that he'd definitely had more than one, with the way his coat had frosting streaked all over it. She's going to peek into the bag when he puts it down between them, "Looks good." She'll keep hold of the bag, "Maybe I'll eat it!" She couldn't help but tease him some, especially since he had just come barreling over.

She'd briefly turn her attention to Melle, "Well, that's a really good start. We could probably find something online with that much information."

"M'am, by all means, you should help this doll, and I would too, but wherever Acadia is, I can't go. I'm 15 and my parents aren't about to let me go on a several hour drive to bring a doll to it's... Her owner, especially not with a stranger and that animal."

Neji blinked dumbly at Chiara, come now Chi he's a wild animal! "Pay? What is this pay you speak of?" He twisted his head and then she's stealing his cupcake! He woofed and stood to nip lightly at her hip, of course he wouldn't get much more than fabric. He was really just a big old goof. But cupcakes were special!

They're talking about driving and the link and he'll tilt his head again, "Why do two leggers always think those revving monsters are the fastest way to get around?" And then he's called "That Animal" and you'd think Nomti just stabbed him in the heart. He looked sooooo sad, look Nomti he doesn't look like a "that" does he?

He pouted and plopped back down, he hadn't intended to go anywhere with anyone. He didn't stay sitting long, instead he just threw his body on the ground like a child would with a tantrum. He's big enough that it might have made a few feet of dirt around him shake but he wasn't worried about it. He couldn't break things like the ground easily.

He stuck his head between his forepaws and snuffled at the ground sending puffs of dirt flying. Sure he looked a little mangy, sure he looked like he'd been used in fighting, but he wasn't a that...he was a Neji. And there wasn't anyone like Neji.

Melle regarded the others, "Acadia is the street name. I don't know which city. I don't even know where I am now." She turned her attention to the bolf, "Um, you have to buy things with money, or it's stealing." She shifted until she was sitting on the edge of the bench, swinging her legs. It made her feel more human, but only drew more attention to the fact that she was not.

She closed her eyes, "I'm sorry I'm not more helpful."

Chiara gave Nomti a strange look, thinking back and trying to remember if she had invited him along. She couldn't recall if she had or not. "Well at fifteen you probably shouldn't be going off with strangers. But you should also have some manners. Her name is Melle, and his name is Neji. They aren't 'that animal ' and 'this doll'."

She'd look over at Neji then, "No biting either, just for that I'm keeping your cupcake until it's time to go. Unless I decide to eat it." Which she probably wouldn't, because who wanted a cupcake that had been slobbered on by a bolf?

"Any information at all is helpful Melle, I'll use a computer at home to try and find more, or maybe some pictures. Don't worry, I'll do my best to get you back home." She'd reach out to straighten Melle's wig some, "Try not to worry so much."

Neji was scolded AGAIN! He whined and his ears flopped further down to make it look like he had hound ears. 'I'm sorry...' No nipping, check. Humans and their rules he'd never understand.

He pushed his head forward and tried to wedge it under her hand, pet the pretty cupcake frosting covered bolf.

(Should I just forget Nomti and try and bring Christopher in?)

Nomti held up his hands defensively, "Hey, I stopped myself from calling Melle 'it,' and how on Earth was I supposed to know his name when I don't even know what he is?" Nomti motioned to Neji.

Melle shrugged her shoulders, but it wasn't visable, "Call me whatever you like..."

Chiara blinked, "Even if you don't know their names you don't have to refer to them so rudely." Neji wants to be pet, so Chiara will oblige him and scratch behind his ears, "Well, it'll be fine with that much information to work with so far. If you think of anything else, let me know."

She'd look at Neji, "Do you remember where that shop was where you ate all the cakes?" She should probably send Draeval to do something about that.

Nomti rubbed his temples, ears twitching in agitation.
"No, no. You have a name and a gender. You're more of a person in my opinion than Neji... No offense," he patted the massive creatures side.

Neji flicked his ears and nosed gently against Chiara's hands offering a lick here and there, she had always been good to the big beast especially when he was injured this last time.

But Nomti grabbed his attention and his ears drooped again, "I too have a name and a gender, and there is not always benefit in being "a person"." His side was patted and he shifted his gaze down to Nomti's hand then up to his face. Neji wasn't mean spirited, he was enthusiastic and friendly. But he was also a dominate male wolf when he needed to be.

But Chiara's question got his attention off of Nomti again, "Yes! It was this cute little shop that had cute little desserts and its..." He sat on his rump and twisted his upper body to point with a paw in the direction of the shop, "That way!" There's even an excited woof before he plops back down on his paws and leans into Chi again.

Melle regarded the beast, frowning for a moment, "Well, Neji is pretty sentient." She reached out to touch him lightly, not wanting to get the plastic fingers tangled in his fur, surprised by hi sudden excitement. She looked up at Chi, "Maybe you should take him and get this sorted out?"

Chiara glanced at Nomti, "He has a name and a gender." She really didn't understand children sometimes. She's then addressing Neji, "Could you take us back to it?" Chi's already nodding at Melle, agreeing with her, "That's probably a good idea. Would you like to come along? Or wait here?" She was hoping Melle wanted to go because she found the other woman fascinating.

Her eyes drifted back to Nomti, "I'd invite you along, but something tells me that your parents wouldn't approve. Stay out of trouble okay?"

Neji felt a tiny hand on him and settled quickly, he really wasn't so bad he was just a bit excitable. He tilted his head to look at Melle and sniff at her lightly. "I could give you a ride if you'd like." And he simply laid down on the ground, head between his paws in case she wanted up on his back.

"Yeah, I could take you back. I got my sniffer!" His tail flung in circles and thumped hard against the ground. Hyper wolf.

((I've no issue with you changing characters)) Melle patted the bolf, thinking he was like a talking, over excited puppy. He did feel nice, what little sensation came through.

Chiara thought about it, "Are you sure you're strong enough to carry me?" Chiara probably weighed about 100 pounds soaking wet, but Neji had been very injured and she didn't want to aggravate something. "Perhaps we should just follow you."

She would carefully pick Melle up, "Will you be waiting here or tagging along?" She figured she should probably put Melle somewhere safe if she didn't want to go, so she wouldn't get taken or stepped on.

Neji smiled and licked at Chiara's hands, "I'm as strong as I'm ever going to get again, and if I can heft my pups around I can hold both of you." His tail wagged lightly and he bumped his head against her, "Don't worry, if I wasn't healed I wouldn't be allowed out of the packlands to begin with. Bella would have my head."
