Hi, I'm Evie and I'm a japanese student living in Japan. I was brought to this site by my cousin Judithea and my long time friend, Hudacious.
I have never really role played before but my stories and ideas are high quality, I write books, stories, novels, scripts you name it.
I've been told that people here are friendly and patient so I hope that I can learn the ways of the role play because frankly, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.
I like medieval stories, fantasy stories, lies and deception, things like that.
Oh and I also love groups. If you want to add me as your friend please do, it's good to meet new people.
I have a question though, if I make a roleplay and nobody wants to join, will it be deleted or do I get a time limit on how long the thread can be up?

Hey, welcome. People here are indeed friendly. I really like the genres which you do as well. I am sure you will find a lot of fantasy rps here. As for your question, sorry I can't help but there is likely someone who knows the answer to that.

Never fear, your idea will not be deleted if no one is interested or able to play in it right away (unless it breaks a rule, like posting requests for sexy-times RP in a place where minors can see it. Then it's gonna get moved/taken down as necesary). If you stop posting in your own recruitment topic, it will gradually get phased out of the Find RP search tool, and eventually drop onto deeper pages of the forum. But if you decide a year down the road that you want to try again, you can go back to that topic and post in it saying you're recruiting again, and it will shoot back up to the top of the board.
Since you're getting started with RP, I recommend this primer on basic RP concepts as a starting place just to get the gist of how RP can be different than solo writing, and what the general expectations are going to be.
If you want even more to get you oriented quickly, we also had some community discussions awhile back about how to improve at RP. I boiled them down into articles for those who want to get the highlights and lessons without the chit-chat. Here's a selection of my favorite ones:
