I was just wondering if it would be possible at some point to allow periods to be added to characters' names.

For example, I have the character Dr. Online, but due to limitations, I can only list him as Dr Online, which just bugs the crap out of me. Why are periods limited if they're not part of the actual url?

It's just a guess, but from my experience adding anything besides A-Z and 0-9 can cause problems with the way the database stores the name in particular setups. And if that's not the case, then I'm sure Kim has a pretty good reason not to allow it, otherwise we'd have the ability to add them!
