Calling all the Furcadia players (I know there's a lot of you)!

I am absolutely 100% lost with this Second Dreaming update. A lot of you are really up-to-date on the happenings, so I figured I should ask; is there any sort of walkthrough anywhere that will help players navigate this new update?
With the new log-in screen, how does that work? Are we supposed to make an account? I know there's the 'log in with .ini' option but I read on the tech support page that this option will be discontinued down the road, so start moving stuff over now. If that's true...how in the world do I move things over??
I'm feeling very lost right now and I just want to play Furcadia but I can't even log on I posted on the tech support page because it's just giving me an eternal loading screen and never actually loading.
If anyone can help me figure out this update, though, that would be super appreciated!

I don't have them all on one email, no. But when I try to log in with the .ini to be able to switch the email address, it sticks me on the eternal loading screen

You need to register every email address that you use as an account first - character ini's that aren't connected to an account will not load. Once that email is an account, use that account to login. You will be able to select any character connected to that account and then follow the setemail procedure to move the character to a different email address.

Each account is limited to 10 'naked' characters (no ports/no GDs/no digos) as email addresses have always been, so you may have to rely on multiple accounts depending on how many characters you have on Furc.

Also keep in mind that if you plan on consolidating your characters to one or two accounts (which is preferable, from a planned update perspective), you currently aren't able to switch a character to a different e-mail address if it is the only character or designated as the main character of that account. You'll have to submit a support ticket at http://support.furcadia.com if you're trying to corral them all, and Cironir will help you with that.
