Shegarra dodged another arrow as the people behind her pursued her.She had been running from these people,who seemed like they didn't like Shadow Warriors.An arrow pierced her right arm when she stopped to figure out which direction was safest.She winced and turned right,clutching her arm.Shegarra had to keep going or she would die.Shegarra ran as fast as she could and soon the people chasing her gave up.She turned down an alley to hide and pressed her back against the brick wall.Her long,black hair was tied in a ponytail and her dark purple eyes examined her surroundings,making sure the alley wasn't occupied.Shegarra looked at her arm,which had not began to bleed yet.She gripped the arrow and yanked it out of her arm,biting her tongue so she wouldn't yelp.Shegarra watched as her arm healed then placed her head against the brick wall,taking a few deep breaths.

She was fortunate that particular alley wasn't occupied because Kai hated interruptions. Especially when he fed on his victims.

The alley just across from her was inhabited by him. He'd just finished feeding, and he let the corpse fall to the ground, when he heard the commotion across the street. The blood lust was still strong in him and the smell of blood from across the street was too much.

He followed it, seeing an injured someone in the shadows, apparently about to pass out. "I can ease the pain for you, if you like."

Shegarra jumped when the man spoke to her.She backed away,not wanting to hurt him if her Shadow Warrior side took control."I'm fine.I just need to catch my breath,that's all."Her chest was starting to hurt from running for so long.

Mistaking her surprise for fear, he spread his arms to show that his hands were empty. "Fine? You don't look fine to me." He sounded puzzled though as the scent of blood began to fade. He could have sworn he smelled it earlier. It irked him, for it wasn't often that he mistook his prey. "Are you not injured?"

Kira's elf ears perked up in surprise. The girl's wound was healed. She hopped off the roof of the ceiling, landing right next to the girl. "Those idiots," She paused gesturing toward the guards. "I
ll killem 'em." Kira ran off taking a sword from the sheath on her back

"Please don't hurt anyone."Shegarra said before she closed her eyes and took a deep breath.Her head was starting to pound as she felt the Shadow Warrior within her tried to take over.

Kai moved warily around her, trying to figure out who she was and why the scent of blood was fading. If she kept her eyes closed, she would never see him coming.

"Why shouldn't she hurt anyone?" Kai asked.

"Because they don't deserve to be killed."Shegarra focused on calming down the Shadow Warrior within her before it took over and killed the people around her.
