Diable ran from yet another hunter, seeing through her lie about beinning an Luner Angel not a Demon. She got hit by a arrow in the arm that the hunter shot randomly. She was pinned to a tree and she tugged at it to free herself. She felt her strenght leave her slowly. She screamed as the hunter came into view but somehow he didn't hear her a walk pasted her as she blended with the colors around her.

(Can I join as the hunter? This is before Kai is turned vampire...just fyi.)

Kai scowled as he reloaded his crossbow. The luner demon was a tricky one and he had been almost positive he'd hit it. But it had vanished in plain sight. Surely the sight of blood, or the smell at least, would give it away. But he saw nor smelled either.

At a loss, he stormed around the area, knowing the demon could not have gotten far and yet unable to track it down. "Damn; so close..." he muttered, bringing his crossbow up as he heard a twig snap in the distance.

Diable tried removing the arrow again but it was a few inches deep in the tree and right through her arm. She had to cover her mouth from screaming when she saw the sun rising, her cover wouldn't last much longer. She yanked at the arrow but only got it a little loosen.

Was that a whimper of pain? He zeroed in on it, but still saw nothing. He made a quick circuit around the few trees he suspected of being where his target was. Unfortunately his crossbow bolt was well camouflaged to blend in with tree branches.

"There's no use trying to avoid me," he called. "I can end your misery. I know you're wounded." He stopped and waited, listening intently for a reply. He didn't know it yet, but his target would be able to see him several yards away if she looked up.

Artair cursed himself softly when he stepped on the stick. He had seen a man run after a girl, and that didn't seem right to him...he had followed as best as he could, but was no woodsman. He lifted his foot again and tired to to place it down and kept moving until he heard the words speak. He slowly drew his sword and waited behind a tree to listen to what would happen next...he had no idea whether the hunter was good or bad. Only that whoever he chased did not wish to fight...

Diable kept queit until the sunlght landed on her and her cover was gone. She looked at the hunter and tried to pull the arrow, paniced. "Please don't. I haven't done anything." She begged looking up at the hunter, with tears in her eyes. She did not want to die, no matter if her life is full of misery. The pain in her arm was nothing to her from what she has felt from other demons. "Please, sir. I'm not evil." Her voice was weak and pained. She could sense the presence of someone else but she didn't want to drag someone else into this, for fear of that the hunter will kill them as well.

Siltrake laughed as the shapeshifter dashed through the woods, he was currently embodied in the shape of a wolf as he ran throught the thick forest. He stopped as he smelt blood, he shifted into his regular form his green eyes and red hair stood out in the forest. His features were feminie, his only male features were the angular edges of his body. Even then he still appeared feminine and often other would confuse him as one. He picked at the ground and sniffed the air. HE growled and immediatly shifted into a large hawk and zeroed in on the scent and found a girl with shite hair in th eforest wounded he landed about a six feet from were the girl was close to the tree, he screeched and started to change until he noticed the hunter. He growled and shifted into a large red wolf and placed himself infront of the hunter. He saw the girl had white hair an oddity and he knew that she couldn't possibly be evil. The black haired hunter he knew was otherwise. He didn't really commend off the whole thing. He continued to growl making sure to prove that he was not an ordianry wolf as well.

Artair eyes widen when he saw the third party enter 'Great...another one.' he thought. 'calm down, lets just see how this all plays out...'

"What the hell?" Kai took a few steps back, his crossbow leveled at the wolf standing between him and his target. "Look, I'm not here to pass judgment on good or not. I'm here to take care of pest control..." he glared specifically at the wolf: "and you're starting to become a pest."

"I don't know what you were doing in the village--but obviously the villagers didn't like it if they called me in to take care of it. And seeing that this is probably one of your friends..." he reached to ready another bolt, in case he should have to fire twice in rapid succession. "I don't really have much choice in letting you go so soon."

He took aim at the wolf. "So, what'll it be? Leave the area and let me lose my pay; or give me something of yours so I can collect."

They haven't done anything wrong...Artair moved slowly and quietly as best he could behind the huntsman and his claymore tip pressed against his back "I suggest the first...Leave now hunter, and don't go any near these two again..." he said in a low voice. 'crap, what if that wolf thing goes after me next?'

Siltrake smiled underneath his wolfly fangs as he shited into the form of a werewolf and then began to laugh."Oh well so scary oh merciful hunter."he began to laugh the clown that he had inside of him coming to the sureface as he continued to protect the girl."Yes I would rather you lose your pay. After all a girl with white hair rather blessed wouldn't you say? but nonethe less I cannot mingle idliy as you slay this girl. Has she commited and evil dead. Hardly, if it is money you want then i can give you money."He said with a grin his muscles rippling as he shifted forms yet again his torso becoming linened with red scales. He was ready to shift into a firebreathing lizard lest this hunter tried to attack him yet again. He looked over to the other human and he smiled, he was noble, he was going to have to make sure that he was well rewarded.Siltrake tilted hi head yet againa nd then couldn't help but put a goofy grin on his face as he stuck his tounge out."But yes I shall barter with you, what would you like hunter. I have abilities, I can give you the pelt of the finest animal, horns, teeth, pick your poison."He said again jesting with him.

With the sword at his back and a shapeshifting were-something at his front, Kai realized his mistake. Lowering his crossbow, he looked past the shapeshifter at the girl.

"Next time, girl, you won't be so lucky." He glanced behind him at the hunter with the claymore and then raised his hands in surrender. "I won't shoot her, alright?"

Diable looked at the two guy that helped her, without even knowing her. She looked at her arm, seeing it bleed it's unnatural purple color. She finally pulled the arrow free from the tree. "Thank you..." She said in a small quiet voice. She was shy from the years of being hunted down on for the reason of being a Luner Demon. She looked at the hunter to adress him. "I haven't done anything. The villagers want me dead because to them I am something evil. I'm just a girl, young and yet to see the world. Also, I pray there won't be a next time." Diable was very young for how much she has seen and felt over her life time.

Siltrake grinned and relaxed and then shifted to his normal form , he smiled as his red hair and his features relaxed. He smiled and looked at the girl with his green eyes and took off his bandage hat, and took off a long piece and went to the white haired girl and bound her arm of the wound. He then shifted into a large beast and had silky white fur he immediatly shed it into a rather large managble peice. He smiled and moved the claymore of the hunters back, and put the pult on the hunters head."there you go a suitable trophy for a hunter" He broke out in a wide grin and did an avorbatic sutnt before he landed infront of the white haired girl. He turned his green eyes to her and smiled. His femine features were obvious, though he was male. He looked to her and bowed."White haired one, are you alright? and dont mind me, i worked in the circus so my attitude may be strange"He repiled and turned his attention to her.

Diable nodded. "I-I'll be fine. Just a few h-hours and it well be healed. A-And don't worry about your attuide, I-I don't believe I'll be a-around in these woods much longer." She rubbed her arm lightly as a purple stain started to form. She didn't looked at the men who saved her life from the hunter. She usually traveled alone and was surpised to see someone come when she screamed. She winced at the warmth of the sunlight; since she was a Luner Demon it could cause her pain. She leaned against the tree to be in the shade.

"The circus?" Surprised, the disdainful question belied Kai's attempt at being peaceful. He'd even considered taking down the shape shifter, thinking him to be a demon.

Still cradling the crossbow in his left hand, he reached up to the pelt on his head and brought it down to look at. "Uh, what kind of fur is this?" Maybe he could get a fair price for it, if it was rare. But they might suspect demon taint on it--and if so it would be useless. He sighed. He really needed to bring down the demon girl--there was no going back otherwise.

Siltrake laughed and looked at the hunter and stuck his tounge out at him and rushed close to him and then grinned before summersaulting back."well if it concerns you that is the rarest pelt, it is the pelt of a large white wolf also known as a dire wolf. They are extremely rare, im sure you'll get a fair price for it. Though I am a shapeshifter, i can shift into a demon. AS well as among other things. I can even shapeshift into a woman. Though i would rahter not. But im glad that you are alright white haired one. But yes hunter, do not even think of taking me in, I would dull your senses in an instant." He replied to the hunter as he covered his arms in bright feathers and began dancing with them, and covered himself in a multitude of blue and red scale as they dazzled in the light. For the time being he hoped he could distract the hunter of the though of brining him in, and escaping so he could earn his bounty. He wanted the white haired girl to be unharmed.

Three times this crazy man, shape shifter, half-demon-wannabe had rushed him or threatened him. This last time, Kai had brought his crossbow up, defensively.

He narrowed his eyes. "Dire wolf pelt--sure." And then he grinned at the challenge of not even thinking of taking in the shape shifter. "It's only renegade demons that fetch money--though for you I might make an exception."

Siltrake laughed and did antoher summersault shedding his feathers and bearing all of his weight on one arm and hand. he looked up at him displaying his acrobatic stunt and then gave the hunter a strange look."oh realy renegade demons, however you would ess with a shapeshifter something that isn't really a demon."he laughed and then started to shift his form once more and he grinned again his natrually sharp teeth smiled at him. As well as his jade green eyes focused and narrowed, he stuck his tounge out again and wiggled it to see what he could do to mess with the hunter. It was his mischevious nature and he shifted his body to make himself have tow large wings on his back and then grinned he was half tempted to shift into a female to mess with him further. he then grinned and became to spit out a joke to mess with the hunter further."whats all black and bransdihes a weapon. A hunter that has no aim" he said and began to switch his arms from right and left.

Kai loosed his bolt at the circus performer. He didn't particularly care if he hit him or not, but he was tired of the shenanigans.

"The next one is going through either your heart or the girl demon's heart. It's up to you whether you want to continue this act." Why the man was out here in the first place was a mystery. As was the swordsman.

"What are you guys even doing out here?" At least, he suspected the one in the skirt was a guy...
