"Oh is that all." Murat muttered. "Scorpions don't come out until evening, so we might be alright; same with desert foxes. But sand snakes we need to be wary of."
Hassan nodded. "The camels are pretty good about finding threats, so we should be okay."
Murat shot him a look. "Don't say that. You'll curse us with bad luck."

''Well, this fox wears armor. It's only one that lives in the city. It carries two weapons on it's sides. and wears a collar. They say it used to be a pet.''
"What kind of armor? And what does it eat? Maybe we can lure it out or tame it or trap it or something," Hassan spoke.
Murat rolled his eyes. "What are we going to do with a desert fox, Hassan? We'll just try to give it a wide berth and if we encounter it, we'll deal with it then."

''Armor that warriors of the sands wore. Like a knight, only they had metal. One warrior fell to a curse that turned him into something for disobeying the law of the warriors. The fox...Little is known because it was first seen in books.''
"Alright, fine," sighed Hassan. "We'll keep an eye out for the fox. If it's plated in armor though, we'll have to keep our javelins ready in case it decides to attack."
Murat hesitated. "I suppose instead of killing it we could try to offer it food or water? Especially if it was a pet. I guess we'll find out if and when we encounter it."
They plodded along, finally approaching the deserted town. Jasafar stopped and pricked his ears up, listening for the sounds of movement. Murat and Hassan stopped, their eyes on the camel and then scanning the immediate area, to see if it sensed anything strange.

A small fox could be seen in the ruins, ears perked it started chittering loudly enough to be heard.
"Is that the one?" Hassan asked Cassandra when they heard and saw it.
Murat carefully grabbed for Jasafar's lead. He didn't want the camel to try stamping the creature, whether it meant harm or not.

''Seems like it, but it looked annoyed and it's..Chittering?'' As the fox darted back into the old city, still chittering.
"Should we follow it?" Murat asked, tapping Jasafar's side. The camel obediently knelt down and Murat climbed up into the saddle. "I think we should."
Cass darted after it quickly, limping slightly. The fox chitters louder than charges at her.
Murat urged Jasafar forward, and they quickly sprinted between the fox and the lioness.
"Hey! Hey!" he yelled at the fox, reaching for his javelin. He didn't want to use it, but he would to protect Cassandra.

The fox ran, then darted between the camel. Cass rammed into the camel by accident, flailing and yowling in pain.
Jasafar stomped into the sand at his feet, before being thrown to the side by Cassandra's untimely jump.
"Ah!" Murat was nearly thrown but he clung to the saddle. Hassan laughed as he threw himself into the fray with his scimitar out.
"Sometimes you gotta stay on your feet to get the real dirty work. Come here, fox, or you'll get trampled and eaten."

The fox chitters and charges at Hassan, holding a small falchion in it's mouth.
Hassan braced himself for the attack, bringing his scimitar up and ready to swing it at the fox. Whether it leaped or ducked between his legs, it wasn't going to get a clean shot at him.
Murat grabbed the javelin and hurled it at the fox once he and Cassandra had untangled themselves.

The javelin hit the ear and the fox yipped turning around and charging at Murat faster, chittering angryly.
Murat grabbed a spear next and jabbed it at the quickly approaching fox. "We don't mean you any harm! Stop attacking us."
Hassan drew a throwing dagger, intending to toss it at the fox, but he hesitated a moment.

The fox stops, but chitter still, it's ear torn off. It had loose armor, with odd colored eyes.
Hassan checked himself and didn't throw the dagger. Murat, likewise, slightly lowered his spear.
"Okay, good. Is there something you wish to tell us?" Murat asked.
