Well, I have insomnia and an addiction to fantasy books, so I suppose I stumbled through this site on some sleep depraved stupor while on Furcadia, and I've fallen in love with it. It's nice to see a character who has a link that won't just tell you what they'd like inside them. Anywho

I also didn't realize how young it was, and I'm glad the forums are up and running!

I've actually never went to Furcadia even though I consider myself a furry, and for some reason I never bothered checking it out, despite people often mentioning it. What's it like? o3o

Yes, extremely young. The Repository opened its doors at the very end of April, so it's about four(ish) months old, and it's come a long way in that short time. I'm so glad you like it so far!

Furcadia is extremely variable. Every player is allowed to build their own map (called "dreams") and to patch it however they please, so while most maps have the same general theme of fantasy anthros, sometimes you'll suddenly find yourself in star wars or a post-apocalyptic city of zombies or underwater or a feral animal... So there's lots and lots of mini-communities, and the challenge at first is finding a community of people you like in a setting that interests you. Possibly an easier task if you already know people through the Repository who can invite you to play on their map than if you were just downloading the game and starting "cold." But the flexibility can make it ideal for setting up RPs.

Nonsense, by all means, my thread is your thread. And from what I've gathered, every thread is Kim's thread, through ownership AND post count.

And I'm hoping someone can braid my hair, afro's are a pain to deal with.

Only if you braid mine. (although I have no knowledge on how to braid hair...)
Someone once said I'd look great with dreadlocks, might be the perfect opportunity to verify that theory!
