Hey everyone, as the title says I'm an older roleplayer and I'm new to here. I come from the lands of warcraft, where I have played for years. Before that I role played in chat rooms and forums.
I hesitate to say I'm a veteran but I guess I am, I've been in the scene since the 90s. I'm a tremendous fan of character development and deep plots, especially ones focused on the characters themselves and huge bonus points for philosophical undertones.
I'm a big fan of the dark fantasy genre, though I've dabbled in modern and scifi.
I would love to find rp partners who enjoy taking the lead in roleplay and are conscientious of their characters. I hope to find some people like that here.

Lightside-- I prefer mages/priests who dabble in dangerous or forbidden magic. Philosophy becomes a huge part of their development and interaction. A character usually driven for the sole purpose of betterment, while lamenting the loss of an easier life. I guess haunted is a good way to put it. Haunted characters.
