Eyyy. I've been PMing back and forth with someone who might be able to fill the Big Bad position.

As for plotting, though, we're gonna need some more specifics. Like what specifically will be big enough to cause a rift in the community?

Various things: Drugs, murder, bribery, fear...abuse of power

We could use more than one of those things. Like, maybe one group killed a bunch of people in another group. And THAT group is afraid of another group, so on and so forth

True, both of them work. I'm fine with whatever is suitable for the plot.

So what are you gonna be? Also, what creature should the ruler/idol be?

Ight our ~mysterious~ big bad is most likely gonna be a witch, but like, a super stronk witch. So thumbs up on that. And we just gotta figure out what we wanna do with plot to get going. We can figure out characters and stuff once the plot is mostly ready.

Maybe there are two basic types of supernaturals: those that have to kill/feed off of humans and those that don't. And maybe this isn't a huge deal but there is always tension because, well, those that don't gotta kill humans are probably keen on making human friends or at least blending into human society. Then maybe Big Bad is typically a 'natural that doesn't kill humans but what does he go and do? Kill humans and word gets out.

Anyway I have a character, Katherine, who's species rely on humans for energy. But they don't necessarily have to kill them.

Maybe that can be the middle ground?

I wouldn't say she is the strongest in her group though.
