After the passing of the old King Gerald Aèlor, the Castle has become cloaked in chaos. Nobles and members of the Royal family have surrounded the young heir, as they are too young to rule. During such madness with choosing a suitable 'acting-ruler', the nation across the border attacks.
You and a select group of others consisting of Nobles, Guards, Merchants, etc, must escape such massacre. And don't worry, you shall be hunted.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Industrial revolution
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
