" so, iv been cureous.. how did you get picked to be my guardion?" she asked him

"It's complicated, really. They sort assignments by difficulty, and rank us all. Among the forty, I'm about... Twenty or something. They give lower ranking angels a few higher-ranking assignments. Of course, it can't be very random, they send who they think could handle the challenge. I guess they just thought I could help with your problem better than some of the others," Sariel explained, shrugging.

" Well im glad they sent you" she said smiling

"You know, they were considering sending someone else?"

" oh... well im still glad they sent you" she said

"I barely was, though."

" still glad they picked you though" she said

"... Well..." Truth be told, they'd only sent him because something happened with her real angel.

Sky looked at him " what is it? she asked

"I wasn't really your angel..." he admitted. "Your real angel quit, and I figured this would be a good chance to get better rankings, but..."

" why did they quit?" she asked confused.

"Who knows? Rumor had it he didn't want to be a guardian anymore."

"Yeah... Sorry, Sky."

" its alright, i wouldent have meet you then" she smiled

"Yeah, I guess that's good, then..."

she smiles at him

"So, uh... About that job..."

" i dont know what elce i can do" she sighed

"We need to find something... Otherwise, I'll never... Complete..." Sariel stopped.
