Anastasia arrived at the Festival of Entertainment late the night before in her parents RV. It was way too big for her but beggers couldn’t be choosers. She slept well, at breakfast and was now waiting for her Butterfly Grand Piano to be unloaded and put on the stage by some mastodon men. The stage that reserved for Pop and Rock music groups just because her slot was taken by a higher quality group. She would have to make do this time and pay the extra fee next to receive a guaranteed slot.


“PLEASE!” Anastasia frantically called out to the men. She was nearly out of her wits in worry.
“That is a delicate instrument. I can not retune it if you get it out of tune.”

It was finally unloaded, unwrapped and position in line to go on. Anastasia ran over to her beloved piano which she inherited from her grandmother who inherited from her father and grandfather. Anastasia’s mother and aunts did not get the talent passed down to them but Anastasia was told that she had the touch of her grandmother.
Her Great-great grandfather had painstakingly made this piano himself. It was made out of rosewood with ebony and ivory keys. It was well kept and well used. Of course ivory was illegal to use now days but she had a certificate stating that it was a family heirloom which made it a legal piano.
She sat down and played a quick short melody and was pleased to note that her piano was still in tune. She softly sighed in relief as the men quietly left the back stage area. This was stage 2 of 3 stages to be set up for the music.

Cecil was walking by the stage with his older brother who was also his manager " Come on spencer, won't you just do one song.. you know the girls love it when you sing" Cecil chuckled " I won't be taking the spotlight away from you little bro." Spencer laughed... Cecil paused seeing the girl and her piano " that's a lovely Piano" he said pausing.

Anastasia heard some noise behind her and turned her head to see who it was that was talking. her hands naturally dropped to her lap as she turned her head. She slowly and gracefully stood up. Her long brown hair flowed down her back in gentle curls.

Cecil blinked " Sorry did I mess up your practice?" he asked leaning on the side of the stage. " big crowd out id hate to mess up one of the other performers practice time." he said

"I have a couple hours before I need to practice. I was just checking out my piano after it was delivered. My name is Anastasia O’Reilly." She held her hand towards the men with a smile.

" Pleasure to meet you, I'm Cecil.. this is my brother and manager Spencer" Cecil said looking at spencer who bowed his head " Tis a pleasure to meet you mi lady" he said causing Cecil to roll his eyes, his brother was always so formal with people it got annoying.

Anastasia smiled and gave the men a short nod.
"I am assuming that you have a band of some sort? "

Cecil nodded " Yep... Ever heard of the band Florance?" he asked glancing at his brother who just shook his head

"Yes..... isn't some kind of a pop or rock and roll band? Not that I know any of the songs. I enjoy orchestral and an a concert pianist. " Anastasia spoke gently and in a soft voice.

"I think that perhaps I should do a quick organization of my music so I'll be ready to warm up at noon. I'm on at 1 this afternoon. At least I was able to get the first slot here."

Cecil nodded " yeah i need to get back to the band, i need to warm up so i don't lose mt voice midway through" he chuckled " good luck i look forward to hearing you play, i love the piano " he said

"Break a leg, Cecil." Anastasia spoke softly. She slowly turned around, her dress swishing softly as she does. She opened her bench and began to organizing the music.

Time passes and it was time for Anastasia to perform

The announcer was speaking of her being recently on her own after being with The Symphony Orchestra for the last 3 years. When her name was announced, Anastasia gracefully walked out on to the stage, faced the audience and did a deep old fashioned curtsy.

Cecil stood among the group of people, he had his hood pulled over his head, to keep from people recognizing him he also has on a pair of shades as he had his blue contacts in ~ just one song and I'll go back to my band~ he thought.

Anastasia straighten up and walked to her piano and stretch his arms slightly be fore began to play.
There was a screen beside her that will show the keys being used. A new technology that her father made for her specifically. She was very fortunate that her father was an inventor of computerized equipment.

Her concert began with music that all should know.....

Cecil smiled " wow, and i thought Landon was good~ he thought looking at his watch and began making his way back to his band as they were on after her.

Anastasia played her last 4 numbers and stood up. She did a deep curtsy to the audience and smiled in relief when she heard the applause of the audience.
The announcer came out and spoke about the Personal Survey that she was giving out after the concert. She would be at a tent nearby should anyone want to fill one out.

Back stage Anastasia was watching the men moving her piano back into the trailer for time being. There was no room for it to be on stage and she felt that this was the best place for her piano. The Tent was raised up just outside of the trailer and the trailer had an area where she had a cooler for drinks and food. She also had a small closet where she placed her clothes to change into.

After changing, Anastasia ate a banana and drank some water before going out to her waiting crowd.

"I will be with you in just a few minutes. I just need to set up my supplies. " she spoke softly as she gazed at the crowd.

Cecil and his band sat everything upand stage, each of them dressed so nobody could recognize them as they sat up.. after they returned backstage, and got ready " Alright you guys ready?" Cecil asked as he got his hair a bit more spiked. After everyone nodded

For the first song the boys all lind up in a triangle shape with Cecil, Or Florance to the croud was in the center... The lights begain to return to there brightness as the music begain.. soon the group was dancing in sink with one another

Anastasia was busy with her surveys and she just was discovering how hard it was to do all of the detail work and behind the scenes things. Perhaps she needed to find the money for a manager somehow. She would look around after the show.

She was signing autographs and giving each person a pen with her name on it and a website where they could visit. She wasn't able to listen to that band playing very well and was ignoring the band as best as she could. It would be some rock band anyways.

It was then that she just remembered the two guys that spoke to her earlier.......Florance was the name of the band. She didn't know much about them. She got some water and sat down in her chair. She listened to the band as she rested.

Cecil smiled as the song ended " Alright everyone, we have a new song that i think you may enjoy." he said walking for to Landon's keyboard and sat down this was the only song Cecil had bothered to learn to play on an instrument as he enjoyed singing more.

Anastasia listened to the last song with no one around. She had to admit that the song was well written even though it was not to her taste. She knew that a lot of people would be leaving so she finally stood up when she heard the applause. She would stay until the crowd thinned out in case someone would happen to stop by.

Perhaps she could go to the flea market area or to the Carnival. She wouldn't be back on until 7 that night so she had a couple hours to do something with.
