Will sighed again. "Damn demons, I went out to her some wood and I come back, the entire place is on fire. Demons were crawling everywhere. After I killed them, I found the under the burned rubble of our house." Will began tearing up. This man, the one who single handed lifted a demon and and ripped it in half with a stone spike, was now tearing up.

"Sure, it's always good to be ready just in case. Though I'm sure we can beat any demon out here. Hey, have you ever gone to the portal before?" Elias asked. He looked around the campsite, his eyes making a wide sweep across it. "Also, where's that other girl? Y'know, Rose?"

It was strange to try to comfort someone who seemed strong and unchanging. At least at first he had been unemotional, leading the army to fight a war. Now he sat in front of her, pouring his soul out to her. "You were trying to keep her warm and comfortable. It's not your fault it happened the way it did, but I can tell you one thing..." she reached out to lightly squeeze his shoulder. "...I can see no greater love than what you are doing now. Risking your life to not only take revenge, but to save the lives of others so they won't meet the same fate." She smiled, her own tears now became for him, for his past and what his future could have been. "These people you are leading, we all have our own stories and our own ways. I was destined to fight these things, it was the nature of my creation. A war tool. Let me lend my aid, let us help you."

George glanced up from his practicing. "Yeah here did she go?" He looked around not seeing her. "Rose! Where are you at?" He looked at Elias. "Maybe she is just exploring a bit."

She keeps walking not hearing Elias or George. She finds the end of the stream "whoa that's cool" she walked closer and she fell in she got out and she was soaked from head to toe. "Grrr oh come on I should head back" she said as she quickly headed back to camp and made it back. "Hey guys sorry was still looking" she said to Elias and George. She went by a tree and sat down.

Will wiped his face and nodded, not being able to say anything right now. He sat his head on her shoulder and relaxed, trying to calm himself down.

Elias sighed and sat down by the fire. "Hey, tell us next time. But at least you're okay. You're a little wet, though." He grinned like usual, but his voice held more pressure than it usually did.

She let him lean on her for a while longer before patting him on the back. "Come on Will, we should get back. I need to get some liquor in me before I sleep." The stars were out fully and it made the forest seem more full and dangerous. They needed to get to the portal soon.

George looked up at the sky. He then glanced over to where his trench coat was hanging and went to get it. He threw it over his shoulder and then continued his practicing. "Nights coming down, we better have someone taking turns watching just in case demons attack. I'll go ahead and take first watch you guys can go get some sleep."

"Actually may I. I don't need sleep trust me." She said. "You guys get sleep I'll take first watch I did ask first" she said

Will nodded and stood up as Jun-Jo trotted up to them. "Alright, I think I got some in my saddle bag." He said, helping her up.

"You don't need sleep? Well, sure, if you're sure," Elias replied, shrugging easily as he grinned. He leaned back against the tree, looking up at the starry sky. The dark blue-black dome was speckled with white stars of different sizes. The trees were all around them, dark figures that stood stark against the sky. He took a deep breath of the cold, crisp night air and sighed. "Isn't it pretty out here? I usually don't look up, but, wow, look at the sky! It's amazing!"

She nodded, following after him to the camp. She could see the black figures of the group which made her relieved to be back. It felt like they had been away for hours.

George put away his glaive and sighed. "Well if you really want to then go ahead." He put his coat back on and and laid out on the ground. "Wake us if you see any demons." He took a swig from his flask and set the flask down on the ground and glanced out towards the forest. "Is that Raine and Will out there?"

"Yeah I'll tell you guys" she said. "Oh that is raine and will I was wondering what was taking them so long." She said as she pulled her gun out and put it by her side. "Just in case" she said

Will picked up a stick and lit it up, lighting up the forest, revealing with them. "Sorry it took us so long."

"Huh? Oh look, they're back. Hello, guys! Just in time for all of us to go to sleep." Elias smiled. He stood up and walked over to his bag, where he began rearranging things inside of it.

Raine nodded and hurried to see if Will actually had any liquor for her to drink. "Who is taking first watch?" She asked out loud to the others, tip toeing to look in the saddle bag.

"Rose said she would I think." He took another sig of his flask before putting it back in his coat pocket. He propped himself up on a rock and moved his fedora to cover hi eye.

"Yeah I'll take first watch I'll be fine you guys go ahead and get some sleep." She said.its so pretty tonight how would anyone want to sleep or anything. She thought.
