Greetings to ye!
I'm looking to gather a (preferably) long-term group of people to form the classic RP rag-tag group of adventurers with. It'll be in a fantasy setting, and the storylines will veer towards lighthearted adventuring, although darker themes could come into play.
This is for anyone who wants a steady group of fellow RP'ers to go through multiple story arcs with. Characters with a wide range of abilities would be ideal.
The plan is that the characters will be struck with unexpected circumstances and forced to work together to, y'know, defeat the baddies. If they manage to, they might just stick with each other from then on.
I have a few ideas for future storylines, but everyone will be welcome to suggest something if they have an idea.
Feel free to ask if you have any questions! Beginners are, of course, welcome.
Fair Warnings: There will be a maximum of six places available for this story (for now). This will be my first time running a group.

Magic may be accepted as truth but is not common. It might be harnessed only by specific beings. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones.
Iron age
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Details: Occasional dice use, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
Could I join? I don't have a character to use for this yet but I am working on one right now.

I think your character would certainly be an interesting asset to this team! Perhaps you could private message me with this hoity toity knight you speak of? I'm sure either would be fine, the main thing is choosing the one who you think would be best in a group dynamic.

Yeah, he seems fine! I plan on sending out some notes on the world the characters will be in in a couple of days (just basic stuff like the rules of magic and the current rulers and so forth), so that might be of some assistance if you want to develop the character in future. That said, I like the character and I look forward to seeing how he interacts with the others!

I noticed a couple of yours are meant for a modern setting. If you would like to use one of them, feel free to, but it would be good if you could change a couple of details (eg. Background, clothing etc.) to fit in with the fantasy/ medieval-ish setting.

I'm very glad to see you interested here, but I had only planned to have six characters (mostly because I don't think could handle more on my first time gm-ing). I can notify you if I want to fit in more characters in this story in future, if you like?
