The woods are your average unnamed mass of trees and animals with random cabins through out it's large area. Most cabins are no longer lived in and are in a bit of a state of despair.
Ruri had left her home early in the morning and now that night had fallen she was actually starting to realize just how tired she was. The woods, for her, were like a large playground where she could do whatever she wanted without (usually) running into too many other people. Settling down on the trunk of a fallen tree Ruri shifted the bag from off her back to set it beside her on the ground. She was dressed in her usual long sleeved black t-shirt with a pair of black baggy cargo looking pants. Her blonde hair was pulled back allowing only the red strands that made up her choppy bangs to hang in her face. For now she was happy to pull out a piece of bread from her bag and munch on it while listening to the sounds of the animals at night.";

Kuro had been wondering the woods for year, never living for the reason of her master finding her and capturing her and making her another one of his failures. She looked weaker than she was and thiner than she should be. She soo found a nearby stream and set her backpack down. She grabbed two water bottles out of her backpack and filled them up. She looked up at the moon and though it was beatiful as always.
The griffin let out a loud screech as she flew over the tree tops. She had just eaten the remains of a stag that a pack of wolves had taken down and was feeling rather content, but a bit thirsty. She set down at a stream and started drinking, not noticing the human that was there.
