Kuro had gone months now without a sign of her master's men coming after her. It lefted her sprite very much and, for once in her life, she felt at peace. She looked up at the stary sky with a full moon hanging high in the sky. She smiled up at it, her mismatched eyes for once weren't cold and emotionless, they were peaceful and gentle. Before she knew it she was singing quietly.
"Let the night rest
Don't wake the trees
Let peace stay
As long as faith well allow it
Don't bring terror
Let the nightmare end
Bring peace
Happiness
And love
Let this world have peace
No more suffering
No more sorrow
No more regret"
Her beatiful voice followed gently through the forest as she sang. It seemed to fit that for once she actually had hope for peace to come to her. She could finally stop living in fear of returning to her master and his experiments and tests of strenght. Her eyes began to water has she remembered that if there was peace she could see him again without worrying about being caught.
"Let the night come
Don't take away what I love most
Let there be light
Freedom
Kindness
Don't try to break me anymore
I'm already broken"
Tears started to run down her cheeks as she though that every word she sang was true. She stopped singing becuase her voice was starting to get choked and cracked as sobs escaped her. She looked down at the ground letting her hair hide her face and tears. She hated showing weakness.

Micheal woke up to a light song filling the air. Smiling to himself, he saw a young girl beneath him. Ok not directly beneath him, about 20 or so feel below him. Beautiful Voice He listened until the singing stopped and was disappointed when it did. Micheal was now hanging upside down from the branch he slept on, his black hair falling away from his face and revealing the scar across his eye. "Please keep going?" Micheal asked, his light blue eyes twinkling in the darkness. He enjoyed music more then most and this girl had the most amazing voice.

Micheal flipped off the branch and silently landed behind the girl, using his wings to slow his decent. "You have an amazing voice." Micheal added, tensed on the branch encase she was going to attack him.Why would she attack you? She is just like you, more or less.... Micheal ignored the voice that echoed through his mind once in a while, sometimes guiding him, other times leading him into more trouble.

Kuro was surprised when some guy had seem to have just appear out of no where, asking for her to continue singing. She hadn't expected to find someone else to hear her sing, she rarely sang and when she did sing, it was beautiful but she shied away form others. "Uh." was all she could say. She really didn't know what to say until he came down, making her turn around quickly, seeing his wings.

Now, she was really taken back. "Uh, um." She couldn't seem to think of what to say, her mind went blank on what to say, until he complemented her on how well she sang. "Uh, t-thank you." She said, still really surprised. It wasn't the wings that caught her off guard, it was just the fact that there was someone else around here besides her.

"I guess that means you aren't going to continue?" Micheal asked with a saddened expression. His mother and sister used to sing to him whenever he caught them singing, always making him smile. "It's Ok, you don't have to." Micheal added brightening up a little bit. "So what are you doing out here in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the night?" He asked, scratching the back of his head and yawning. He didn't bother to fold his wings, most people would either die on their way into the forest or out. Not many people saw his wings and lived to tell anyone because of the treacherous forest.

Kuro shook her head to his question. "Uh, no, not really. I don't sing that often." She said, still in a bit of shock. When he asked her why she was out here, she snapped back into reality. "I could ask you the same thing, stranger. Seeing as you pretty much popped out of nowhere after I stopped singing, it seems a bit strange to me." She folded her arms over her chest, raising an eyebrow.

"I was sleeping." Micheal said with a frown. "I can't exactly sleep at an inn with wings and no money." He added, leaning against the tree trunk. "You avoided the question." Micheal stated, smiling a bit as his hair fell back into place.

"No one said I have to answer your question." She said with a grin. He couldn't force her to answer the question if she didn't want to, a simple fact. If he tried to enter her mind, it would cause him to have a huge mind-grain because of the block she has on it.

Micheal shrugged and jumped back up to his branch, using his wings for a boost but not opening them too much. "Want a snack?" He asked , reaching into his bag and pulling out 2 candy bars and 2 sodas. "I had two cause I wasn't going to go back to town until tomorrow morning, but I don't mind sharing." He said with a smile, dropping the food into the girls lap. "By the way, I'm Micheal."

((PS, Micheal is really kind, which gets him into sticky situations easily......))

Kuro was just about to say no when he threw down the food. "I don't eat sweet food. I don't know why, but it always makes me sick to my stomach. Thanks for the offer though." She said, setting the food down beside her. She didn't eat much, barely even when she needed too, her body hat gotten so use eating so little that it was just use to it.

"Mhmk." Micheal said drinking his soda in a couple sips and hanging upside down, his hair falling out of place again. He heard slight rustling in the trees surrounding them, but he ignored it for the time being. Until he heard a snapping on the ground too. "Hey Red." Micheal breathed, giving a nickname to Kuro. "You hear that?" He continued, being ever so quiet.
