Ryder winced as she felt pain on her shoulder. Gaining conciousness again, she looked around and found Jake leaning over her. The pain in her shoulder was still pretty bad, but her shoulder started to go numb.

Flutter waited outside anxiously. Pacing back and forth

Black Knight limped into the barn and went into a stall and laid down

Jake smiled at her " your awake " he said as he applied a little more pressure. He softly stroked a strain of her hair and then grabbed another cold towel and put it on her forehead

Ryder winced as Jake applied more pressure. Then closed her eyes again as he put the cold cloth on her head. She didnt loose conciousness, just tried to relax.

The king entered Jake's room and was radiating furious waves.
"Rye! Why would you do that?! It was stupid and sensless!" he snapped at her.

Ryder sat up quickly and scowled.
"Well you were too busy with that supid ball to protect your own people and city!" she hissed back.

Jake turned to him " you shut your mouth! She protected this place better then you did! " He said snapping back at him, fouriously.

Black Knight trotted into the castle and snorted at the king " he is right " He said behind him

Ryder looked at Jake surprised, before looking out the window.
"Father. Leave." Ryder said coldly.

The king narrowed his eyes then turned and walked out of the room. Leaving Jake and Ryder alone.

Jake turned back to Ryder and cared for her wounds. He wrapped her arm softly in bandages and held it up. " Dont worry you won't die " He said focusing rewetting the towel and placing it back on her fore head

Black Knight sighed and cantered down to Flutter. " Are you alright? "

Ryder smiled at Jake. "Of course i wont die," she teased.

Flutter looked at Black Knight.
"Im alright. Im more worried about you though. Are you ok?" she asked and gently nudged the leg that he had been favoring earlier.

Jake smiled and laughed " i rember this earlier we almost said that exact thing "

Black Knight sighed " just in tons of pain "

Ryder smiled and almost laughed. "Well the ball is definitly off. Hopefully," she said changing the subject.

Flutter swished her tail on Balck Knights flank. "Follow me," she said before trotting off in the direction of the stables.

Jake smiled " you know i was actully looking for it "

Black Knight followed and limped

Ryder looked at Jake surprised. "Really? Why?" she asked curious now.
Ryder sat up and looked at Jake intrested.

Flutter led him to a stall painted white and she trotted in. Motioning for Black Knight to come in as well. A human was in there, gently he put a gel on all of Flutter's cuts and scrapes. Then patched or wrapped them up. He approached Black Knight next.

Jake looked, " because it would be fun and i would spend time with you " he said smiling.

Black Knight followed and when he saw the human he snorted

Flutter walked over to Black Knight and brushed her tail along his flank.

Ryder looked at Jake surprised then a blush crept along her cheeks. "Oh. Well yes it would've been fun and we would've danced together," Ryder mumbled then looked at Jake's wall.

Jake cared for her wound and then dipped a cloth in the water and switched it out with the one on her head. " yeah " He said smiling

Black Knight smiled but snorted when he saw the man again

Flutter nudged him forward gently. "Go on it wont hurt," she reassured.

Ryder smiled and closed her eyes. "Thank you," she murmured.

Black Knight moved closer to the man and he looked at him

Jake smiled and then he sat on her bed stroking a stran of her hair

Ryder blushed ar Jake being this close, but sleep soon overtook her.

Flutter waited patiently as the man checked out Balck Knight carefully. Then treated the wounds with some cooling gel that would take away the pain. Then he wrapped up or patched the wounds. Soon he was finished an Flutter waited by the stable door.

Jake soon fell asleep to tired to stay awake

Black knight snorted at the man and trotted to Futter

Flutter shook her head in amusement and trotted to her pen.
"You staying in the stables or castle?" she asked.

Ryder snuggled up to Jake in her sleep.

Black Knight looked " I guess the stables "

Jake opened his eyes by her warmth and soon fell asleep
