I'll create my character soon umm well there seems to be quite a few people and I'm sure were pretty eager to start. I'll set it up and should be ready soon. The role play will start with everyone being on the same ship (unless you purposely want to be on a different one (let me know)) and their performing the routine mission which i'll briefly explain in the rp. One everyone's made a few posts and gotten to know each other we can get to the actiony bit. That shouldn't take too long (i'll indicate the changes) and we can then get started with the main mission

If you have any questions or are confused please let me know. This is my first time organising a role play so I might miss a few things out. For that I apologise, please let me know

By the way we'll need a name for the new ship that we'll mainly use if the role play.
I like the name Nebula but I wanted to see what ideas you have

I think Nebula would be a bit of a confusing name for a ship, given that nebulae are a space phenomenon! For example, if someone in a shuttle said "I'm headed back to the nebula" it would be ambiguous!

If the ship's primary function is exploration, it could be called Wayfarer, Sojourner, Pioneer, something like that. If it's designed more for combat it could be named after a mythological war god, or something like Bulwark or Champion.

But Nebula sounds good! So I'd be fine with that too!

I haven't been a part of many sci-fi adventures, as sci-fi and steampunk are my weakest writing styles. But I would love to change that fact. I can offer two neutral bounty hunters to the story, both aliens, who work for a company of bounty hunters called Sand Rats.

I have two sentences with the briefest of descriptions for both available and will write more after my test today. But for a quick descriptor:

Ashley (Ash-lay, not Ash-lee) is thick-skinned, curve-horned alien that is war-bred. Though her home-planet is beneath most tech-levels, war was the constant day-to-day thing, the strong killing the weak. This assisted in the race's survival of its hostile wildlife and environment, in addition to keeping their limited food supplies in check.

Ananta is a terribly thin and tall alien with elongated feet and hands that end in thin claws. Her race has serpent-like eyes and faces, able to open wide to swallow meals whole; their appearance alone making them excellent enforcers and mercenaries. Her home planet is highly toxic to most visitors, their air filled with a peculiar sulfuric gas. Left unhindered by invaders, the home planet's tech level is above average and space fairing, usually selling its citizens as contracted killers or bounty hunters.

If these two are fine, they will likely join a little later in the story.

Awesome! Will your characters be crewmen from the beginning or were you thinking differently? Pm me if you'll find it easier
