Hello, I'm Huor, and I'm new to this site, though not new to roleplaying. I grew up roleplaying Star Wars with my brother and cousins (though apparently unlike them I never grew out of it) and have since moved on to other fandoms and genres. Science fiction, fantasy and modern are my favourite genre to roleplay in, and I would gladly involve myself in anything that seems interesting.
I usually type more than a hundred words per post, fifty words if it is mainly a dialogue post. Though a few times I've hit 500 words, and twice even a thousand.

This strongly mirrors my experience of growing out of childhood. I remember so clearly the day when "Do you want to play pretend/RP?" turned from "HECK YEAH!" to "Ugh, that's for babies!"

Heh yeah, I still feel sad that my brother and I stopped "playing Star Wars" (our code for roleplaying; even our parents called roleplaying that). The last time we played Star Wars was when I was 19 I think, when we were on a family holiday in New Zealand with my extended family and my cousin decided to randomly call himself Darth Libertua because of a poster he saw.
Good times. Star Wars was pretty much my childhood. I'm glad to be able to continue the tradition with other people now, too.
