Dr.Cutter, a scientist who works on Neurology, cracked the code for what seemed to be creating the perfect sentience for a machine. As an experiment he decided to place his prototype brain chip into a Titanium Alloy based mechanical body he had created to be the ultimate defender should the case be that his lab is invaded. The entirety of this experiment would require that one combat capable person take a single round of punishment from the android as well as have a regular conversation according to Dr.Cutter. In the middle of the installation process the scientist had gotten a few visitors, a week before he had begun the process of preparing for this day he had called a volunteer over for the combat capabilities test but he hadn't expected the other visitor. Dr.Cutter paused in the middle of his experiment and walked over to the door to open it greeting his visitors "Why hello! Thank you for coming on short notice, I didn't have much time to prepare either with everything else around." As he finished he turned around onto the table and laying there was his android "I call it Sigma, placeholder for now, it's an experimental sentient defense unit that can think on its own just as a normal person can." Dr.Cutter continued the installation of the sentient brain chip into Sigma's body to make the dream come true of a truly sentient machine.

"I'm truly privileged to be able to take part in such an experiment. I'm honored that you would choose me as a combatant subject. Now, you don't want me fighting back, correct?" Derik had gotten used his new cybernetic body in combat, and no longer felt ashamed enough to cover it up. For caution, Derik always carries around a blue-steel titanium-alloy bowie knife at his hip, and a basic jet propulsion, cytoplasmic Revolver MK 2 on his thigh.

Nura had followed swiftly behind Derik, she had be asked to witness this event unfold as per request from her father. Stumbling into he room she noticed the still robot like shell stood in the middle of the room.

Dr.Cutter nodded "Yes, only defend yourself or allow the machine to knock you to the ground as quick as you can while only trying to stay standing." he stated as he planted the face plate onto Sigma and started the powering up sequence. Turning back towards Derik he gives a hopeful grin "It won't kill you don't worry there's no harm here." His attention is then quickly turned to the girl who walked in shortly behind Derik "And who might you be?" he asked with great curiosity. He hadn't remembered inviting her but perhaps there was a message about her that he couldn't remember.

"Nura" she simply replied extending a hand to the doctor, "my father said i could come. He worked with you i believe?" looking behind the doctor she saw the robot begin to boot up.

Chuckling a bit from the statement of worry of death. "I'm not worried about death at all. But I appreciate your worry. Now, where is the combat room? I would like to get myself ready. Since I can only defend, I'll deposit my weaponry."

"I believe so yes, he helped me create the body, I'm getting old so I don't remember things like I used to" Sigma's lights began flickering. The android would prove whether humans were ready and capable of sentient machines and vice versa. This prototype would be the stepping stone for a new age of man and their inventions. Within moments the lights glowed immensely and the android spoke "Wh... Where am I?" it asked and Dr.Cutter replied "You're in a lab, and about to go into the testing phase, you're a prototype android with sentience like a human being" The android didn't move "...I see" it spoke and with another moment "Give me a moment, I'll be up in a second" Dr.Cutter quickly took a moment to point his arm to the door to the right of the android. "Over that way you'll find the training center."
