So um...I had a blonde moment. I tried to glue lace to a pendant and I used my fingers to press the fabric down. And now I have glue-fingers. They are all seperate, thank goodness, but now my fingers all feel weird and I tried washing them as soon as I could, but it didn't do much.

Any advice or words of wisdom on how to fix this? I used Gorilla Glue...because I'm a blonde.

You can also use a pumice stone or exfoliating sponge to help work the glue off. Good luck.

And sadly Sanne, I don't have time! I have things happening this week, plus the feeling of the glue on my fingers is just ucky

My fingers are starting to feel a bit better, so I think it is slowly coming off, but it's still uncomfortable. I'm hoping to borrow a neighbor's nailpolish to remove it completely, since we seem to be out.

This is TOTALLY not what I expected this topic to be about.

Try olive oil or any cooking oil... just don't heat it up first >>

I thought for sure it was going to be about some awkward social situation that required the most delicate handling to not cause an international incident. Or at least to avoid a falling out inside a RP group or familial social circle.

rubbing alcohal can pretty much get rid of any substance. >> but i know that feeling. When i made plushies i got super glue all over my fingers ><

I was going to suggest that but a lot of people don't like adding chemicals to more chemicals or putting chemicals on their hands to begin with. Also, cooking oil is a tender lover. Unlike rubbing alcohol which comes home drunk and then scratches you while you're trying to sleep.

Soda, especially diet soda, it will eat your glue off, as well a warm wet rage microwaved, this will allow you to remove the glue typically.
