My name's Sara-- I've done free-form RP in chat channels, on games, and through forums for a number of years. My previous playing grounds have been quiet of late, so I'm kind of hoping to find new people to play with. As far as style is concerned, I favor high fantasy, epic, character-driven stuff although I might be willing to try something different if it sounds intriguing enough. Any suggestions for good RP spots?

I miss RPing with you a great deal, and it's really sad all those old story lines died out. I wish there was some way to revive them, or migrate a few of the characters to new homes. I've tried "rebooting" one or two of them elsewhere, but in most cases it's just so sad to lose all the years of history that really finally made them who they were.

Kim: Yeah, I've tried picking up a couple of my characters from The Realm and plopping them elsewhere, but I've never had any luck with most of them. I had a fairly good run playing Nell's daughter in a short D&D campaign at one time, but that was different-- Neume's young enough not to have the "baggage" that my adult characters have. They are nothing without their friends!

I wonder if it isn't possible to revive them on a small scale. We've got two people right here who know the history and miss it!

Also, BOOM! I made a sci-fi thread because the forum was so sad and lonely. People should play with me!

@ Sara : Haha, I did that too. Now Sci-fi is the forum with the most threads in the IC ones.

And both of you deserve high fives and milkshakes for stepping up to the plate and starting something! I'm hoping I can join in sometime soon here. Juuuust need to crawl out from under mountains of work.
