"What a flippin' night! Kinda drained me. Neyahaha!"
He seemed quite pleased with heading home on a night like this. Japan after all was rather busy at this time of a night. More like very lively. Holding a blood covered bat over his left shoulder. A rather playful, cheeky grin was across his face as he strolled down the streets.
He was heading home, well to his flat of course. Maybe relax to a couple, cheesy B movies. He didn't feel like going to any night clubs or even performing some karaoke. Giving a rather bored sigh, he came to a stop. Something seemed to be up or was he being followed. He didn't care. He carried his'weapon' with him and continued walking his own way, hoping to return back home.

Maxwell took another look at the picture his employers gave him, and checked the name again. «Majima Goro». Yes. It was him, no doubt possible, but he preferred to be sure, it would be a shame if some collateral damages were to happens. Maxwell preferred a clean work. Stealthy, and silent.
Attacking a man carrying a bloody bat in the middle of the street at night un Japan was a bad idea. More like a suicide.
Maxwell winced. There were too many people here, they could see him. And yet, not enought to kill silently without anyone noticing anything. He hated that. So the best idea will be to kill him when he was at home. Let's just hope he lived alone, but Maxwell had no doubt on that.
He took another look at the man, away from hil so he wouldn't notice being followed. That was a shame that some people wanted Maxwell to «take care» of him, he seemed like the guy he could get along with... if Maxwell could even get along with people.

"No sign of Kiryu-Chan and I am already gettin' bored. Best make it home. Heh. Th' boys could use some roughin' up if they don't ask where I been!"
His laugh sounded a bit crazy, yet silent. He didn't want to cause a scene... just yet. Tapping his blooded bat on his shoulder, he came to a stop. His sadistic grin remained on his face as he seemed to be well, rather in one of those moods. Closing his good eye, he let his left hand droop. Sure, something seemed to be up but was he being followed? Or was it just passer bys at this time of the night?
"Eheheheh..." He said in his playful tone. "Someone is followin' this Mad Dog, but hey, I ain't gonna be turnin' 'round, y'know..."
His tone seemed to be rather playful, yet somewhat sadistic. What was on his mind anyway?

He was far from that Majima guy, and yet, he was close enough to hear the man.
Shit, did he saw me? Maxwell asked himself. That's at moment like these he hated his eye patch and his missing eye. How can you be discreet when you have such a showy thing on your face. And showing his scars on this part of the face wasn't better.
He didn't answer to Majima. Perhaps he'll think he just have made up his mind, perhaps he will think that it was because he is tired and that it'already late, and will give up crazy idea of being followed.
After all his tone wasn't really reassuring, even for a guy like Maxwell, he seemed unpredictable, and that wasn't good

Tapping his bat on the ground, he gave a small laugh. Oh what fun this would be. Turning around and facing the other, Majima leaned up his bat and crossed one leg over the other. He kept a rather calm, yet crazed grin on his face, but he didn't want to beat up this person following him. What could he want?
"Say, whatcha doin' out on this time of a night, eh? 'Round here is kind of rowdy. Les' jus' say that."
Closing his good eye, he let off a small sigh.
"I ain't gonna do anythin' to ya, so don't fret, boy."

Let's play his game from now on. I'll find a way to take care of him anyway. Maxwell thought.
Looking at the man, he gave him a rather polite smile, one of his best.
"You talked to me, sir? Well... I have the right to enjoy my night, like anyone else here."
He made a big effort not to glaNce at the bloody bat, but anyway, he tried to find a way to fight back if this Goro guy was to attack. He had his gun but if he wasn't quick enough... he needed something else. A crowbar, anything.
"And i'm not fretting, sir."

Waving his free hand a bit, Majima shook his head. He wasn't wasn't in the mood to fight him. His mood was pretty much neutral to good for t he time being.
"Who else would I be talkin' to? " He asked. "There ain't anyone else aside from us, y'know. Ya look kinda tough. Been in any scraps or anythin'?"

Reflexively, Maxwell put his hand on his eye patch.
"This is none of your business." He immediatly said. The smile and the polite, sociable tone was all done now, replaced by a harsh, cold tone. He swore mentally for giving such a nervous answer. The best he could do now, was to get out of this situation alive.
"And what make you think i was following you? I could simply go to my hotel room, and take the same path as yours." The lie wasn't exactly his best, let's say it was the worst lie he ever told, but this was the only explaination he had for now on.

Majima's only response was a shrug. He placed his free hand on his hip and made a simple gesture, while still balancing himself on his bat.
"Yare Yare. Y'know. I'd watch yer back if I was ya. 'Cause at this moment? There's damned street gangs out at this hour. "
He remained in that same posture as he heaved a small sigh. Nothing could phase him for a moment. Unless something did happen. What if the stranger did attack him? Nah... Not someone like that. Though. Majima did have a point. There were some rough gangs out at this hour. Mainly muggers.

The gang... the street gangs...
Shit, why hadn't he thought of that.
Not that he wasn't able to take care of some punks on his own, but it was different. They'll be a lot, and heavily armed. Numerous Majima Goro, with bloody bats, but they will nat talk with Maxwell before muggling him.
He let out a swear in perfect english and but his lips. Tonight was not the night he'll kill Majima Goro. He had to go to his room immediatly.
"I..." he opened his mouth, "Need to go. Have a good night, sir." He finished as he turned around.

"Go? Go where? There ain't any hotels near here, 'less yer lookin' at those ol' run down ones. Even some of my men wouldn't dare go there even if I paid 'em a million yen and had somethin' aimed at their heads."
He gave off a small snicker and rubbed a leather gloved finger under his nose. He was rather amused by this young male. Perhaps he could learn more about him. Maybe invite him to his place?
"Y'know. I barely know ya, but I kinda like ya. If ya wanna come wit' me. Feel free. However, if yer gonna fight, I suggest not at this time. Heh. We may draw attention."

Right. He was damn right. After all, he knew this place perfectly, better than Maxwell, even after 3 days of recon. He never visited this place at night, he was like a bunny at the first day of hunting. Alone, and afraid.
He sighed, but his eyes widened when the man asked him to come with him. Was he crazy? He invited the man whi followed hil all this night? Maxwell blinked, but this wasn't a bad idea after all. He'll be safe until tomorrow, and he could recon his flat. He nodded toward the man, and began to walk to him, still cautiously.
"Just one night." He answered, "And then, when it'll be dawn, and the town is safe, i'll go."

Returning a thoughtful nod, Majima would offer his hand. Maybe this side of him was rare to see, but hey, hospital for a poor soul was always a good touch.
"Gotcha, anyways. I'll treat ya to a hot meal if yer hungry an' such. By the way..." He pulled the bat back up and got in his normal stance, resting it on his left shoulder. Tapping it on his shoulder, he gave his calm smile.
"Can you fight? Considerin' on our way to my humble place, we may get into a fight. So, jus' sayin', we gotta kick some ass n' keep goin', ya so."
Maybe it was best to introduce himself. It would be rude not to head off just yet without learning some names first hand. Majima remained calm and placed his hand in his pocket.
"Th' name's Majima Goro. The Mad Dog I am called. What's yer name, kid?"

Maxwell sighed. Of course this couldn't be easy. He just wanted to go to his home. But considering the man, how could this be a normal, calm thing?
"Of course, i can fight." He answered in an annoyed tone, "I'd rather go with guns, but i know how to fence, u can use katanas, bats, crowbars, anything. I'm a big boy and i can take care of myself."
Well except against a fully armed gang a cold voice answered him in his thought and he winced. Everything would have been so easy without these.
"I know your name, Mr.Goro." he continued. This was Maxwell's way to introduce himself too. Goro knew he was following him, so at least makes him understand that Maxwell was more than just a simple citizen that follows a man with a bloody bat at night.
"Mine, is Maxwell. Maxwell Rockfield. That's all you need to know"
He never like to give his name to anyone. Not that he had something to protect, Maxwell had nobody. This just could draw useless annoyances.

"Max.. Rock. I'll call ya whichever yer most happy wit'..."
Turning his back, he started to walk forwards and heading back to his humble flat. He hoped the other would follow him. Considering at this hour? It wasn't safe at all. Giving a shrug, Majima kicked a few things in his way, making the path a bit clear for the both of them. Not that he minded that.People's rubbish needed to be put in a better place and not where he needed to go.
"Yare Yare..." He muttered to himself. "When I get home, I wanna kick m'feet up. Rare I brought someone wit' me..!"
Coming to complete stop, he motioned for the other to stop as well and come near him. Something was up and it didn't seem to be good. SO, they were being followed. Possibly by random ruffians who were looking for some trouble.

"Maxwell's okay." He simply answered.
He stayed next to Majima. How imprudent has he been. He did his best not to get caught by Majima Goro, but he ended following him so he could stay at his flat for the night. Well, the objective was to find where he lived, he succeded, even if this wasn't the. conventionnal way.
When the man asked him to some next to him, Maxwell sighed. This night will definitely not be calm. Imitating Majima, he looked around to analyse the situation.
He saw some shadows moving at the corner of his only good eye, and reflexively, caught his gun on his back and loaded it, making an audible «click». Looks like they were going to fight sooner than expected.

"We're bein' followed..." He said.
Holding his bat down, he turned his back to face what was coming. From the sounds of it and the voices, it seemed to be common street punks. Mainly the ones who'd mug unexacting folk. Luckily for Majima, he was use to it. Looking over at Maxwell, a rather sadistic grin came across his face. He wanted to fight whomever was coming, mainly teach them a lesson.
"Oi, Maxwell, Ya ready? Let's kick some..! C'mon. Ambushin' is more fun. Y'wanna follow?"
Even for his age, he sure did like to get his hands dirty with this. Maybe he could carve some more names into his bloody bat afterwards.

"I suppose i don't have much of a choice." Maxwell said as he began to follow his new acquaitance.
He stopped near a wall and took a crowbar that was leaning against it. Even if he had his gun, using a bullet against punks was a waste of time. And it would only attracts other punks, and the police.
He groaned. The work will not be exactly clean, and he will have blood on his white shirt. And he knows that it was the most diffucult thing to clean up. He will probably have to buy a new one after that.
"Looks like you do this everyday, Mr.Goro."

He liked how this kid acted and his responses. Truly someone who had a burning flame inside of them. Taking his baseball bat, he gave one of the on coming thugs a good, yet hard hit on the back of the head. Giving the one he bashed in a harsh kick to the face, he turned to Maxwell, grimacing like a child on Christmas.
"Same shit everyday. Gets old, still... makes it fun, y'know!" Waving his hand a bit, he gave a wild grin.
"Maxwell, show me what ya got! Kick their asses!"

Maxwell glanced at Majima and gluped. He never liked to hit and kill when the people in front of him weren't targets.
But his life was in direct danger and he just couldn't stay inactive.
Without any warning, Maxwell moved his crowbar quickly and hit one punk in the stomach. While he was still dazzled by the hit, the black haired man caught his hair and hit him repeatitly in the same place, until he didn't move. He wasn't dead, but he'll remember the eye-patched man that do that to him. Even if this wasn't a target or part of his job, this was damn entertaining, that Goro guy wasn't wrong.
Maxwell allowed himslef to smile of relief. He has been put into a lot of stress recently, this was good to let go sometimes.
