Though it may not be so much of a big deal, is there a way to disable smileys in the preview? I'm currently trying to update my characters and I've noticed that every time I press preview smileys appear when I've unchecked the "Use Smiles". Fortunately though, when I click save, it disappears, but I'm just curious if they can be disabled in the preview as well when I'm trying to determine the appearance of the page before I save it.

That is a very good point. I will look into this! I'm also going to move it to suggestions so I can keep track of it a little better.

Thanks! It just kind of threw me off when I pressed preview and there were smileys that I didn't intend to be there.

Fairly on-topic, but also the ability to remove smilies after a forum post has been made? Unless I'm remembering wrong, you lose the ability to uncheck the box after you post.

...I'd actually prefer to have a button in my account settings to totally disable them, honestly! I'm one of those people who really, really wince when they're used accidentally.

As it stands, the only place the remove smilies option exists is on certain widgets. It's never offered on forums, before or after posting.

Ah, yeah - Use enough forums and you'll forget even when replying right on that forum. AHAHA. Yes - options for everywhere please!
