He sighed and thought for a few moments "So...so we really have to do this huh?" he asked her, realizing that they couldn't put it off too much longer

"Im sorry..i dont mean to rush you, but as we get farther into mating season..it gets dangerous for those without mates.." she murmured.
Evence hadnt wanted to tell him, but he needed to know.

He looked own at her "Okay..." he reached down and took her hand and lifted it close to his face "So I just bite down right?" he asked her, looking at her wrist

"Yes..." Evence whispered.
She tried to stay relaxed and she looked out her window.

He took a deep breath, then opening his mouth, he brought her wrist into his mouth and bit down on her wrist. Some blood poured into his mouth, but he bit down a little harder before pulling it out of his mouth "there..." he said wiping the blood from his lips

Evence clenched her jaws and gripped Tell's shirt tightly. The blood dripped down but came to a stop rather quickly. Suddenly then teeth marks disappeared and a thin, black, solid ring formed, using the teeth marks as a guide. It looked like a tattoo now, but the pain still lingered.
She was still gripping Tell's shirt and didnt let go.

"I'm sorry...I hope I didn't hurt you too hurt you too much." he said looking at her wrist, confused of what happened, but thought it was normal...hoped it was normal

Evence shook her head. "I-im fine.." she whispered.
Sitting up a little, she looked at her wrist then gasped. Jerking her hand back, she inspected it.
"What the.." she mummbled, confused.

"What? Isn't that what was supposed to happen?" he asked, looking at her confused and a little scared

"I-i dont know..i've never been marked before," she murmured then looked down at Tell. She smiled a little trying to reassure him that it was fine. Leaning down, she acted like she was going to kiss him, but she wiped off a little blood.
"Im sorry," she whispered.

"For what? I was the one who bit you. I should be saying sorry..." he said, confused more "Are you sure that was supposed to happen?"

"Yes im sure. Im sorry because you had to do it," Evence whispered.
She kissed him softly and smiled a little.

He shook his head at her "It was well worth having you to myself." he said, smiling more. Then leaned in and kissed her more

Evence grinned and kissed back deeply, putting her arms around his neck. The night flew by and at some point Evence got to sleep.
Before dawn broke, Evence woke up and looked around sleepily.

Tell laid beside her still, holding onto her tightly, his face peaceful, his body unmoving, and not stirring at all.

Evence smiled and was almost about to kiss him, but she thought he msut be tired from last night. Slowly and silently, she tried to slip out of his embrace. She had tons of make-up paperwork that needed to be read over and signed.
Unless Jackson took care of it for her. Usually the first few days of winter were packed with paperwork then she wouldnt have any she needed to do until spring. Of course she had to read over the reports from the patrols, but that was easily done.
After a shower, she decided to call Jackson and ask about the paperwork.

Tell had woken up while she took the shower and rolled over. He sighed, and pulled himself up and waited for her to return to the room.

She quickly finished up her shower then got out and wrapped a towel around her body. Not knowing that Tell was up yet, she turned the light off in the bathroom and quietly walked over the small table next to her bathroom door. Picking up the phone she dialed Jackson's room number and he picked up by the fifth ring.
"Hello?" Jackson said sleepily.
"Hey Jackson. Is my papaerwork finished for Winter?" Evence asked quietly.
"Umm... yea i finished filing everything last night." Jackson replied.
"Oh ok. Thanks," she whispered before hanging up.
That means i dont have too much to do this winter. Go on a few patrols. she thought to herself.

Tell waited for the phone call to be finished then asked "Well? Are you free of the dangers of cabin fever this winter?" he asked, teasing her

Evence jumped and gasped, turning quickly to see Tell. "God.. you scared me. I thought you were still asleep," she replied with a smile. "But yes im free of work finally," she added and walked over to the bed.
"I thought you would sleep longer. Did i wake you up?" Evence asked in an apologetic tone.
