He ducked when her knife whistled just past his head. And then turned to find a moth embedded into the wall. "I guess that's a yes."

He flushed when she mentioned his staring. "Sorry; I don't get out much, and I've never met someone like you before." At least, not a girl who was good with knives and weapons. He pulled the knife out of the wall and knocked the moth off the blade.

Of course, with that display...he was now armed.

Rose trusted him enough not to attack with her weapon yet maybe she shouldnt. She laughed softly as he flushed then took her feet off her desk.
"Was that supposed to be a compliment?" she asked about the "someone like you" question.

Rose again leaned back in her chair but didnt prop her feet up. Seeing Cody with the knife made her uneasy yet she didnt show it.

His gaze flickered from the knife to her. "Yes, it was supposed to be a compliment."

He flipped the knife in the air, catching it by the hilt expertly and then, grudgingly, adjusted his grip so that he held it out to her hilt-first. "Here."

He was still debating whether or not to use it; but at this point, he didn't even know where he was. "So, uh, when I leave--how is that going to work? I'm guessing you're not going to just let me walk out the front door."

Rose stood and took the knifes hilt but didnt pull it away from him. "You arent a captive. When you intend to leave, you may do so. I will show you to your motorcycle and you may leave," she replied.

Rose was clearly giving him the chance to use it if he so wished. But he would most likely regret it since she was prepared to defend herself by any means. Her eyes softened a little when she talked to him now and she wasnt quite as cold about everything then when he had first arrived there.

"Well thank you," she thanked him for the compliment.

He released the knife, trusting that she wouldn't turn it on him. "Oh." So no blindfolds or fetters or what-have-you. He rubbed the back of his neck and then swung his legs off the bed to test his strength.

The breakfast had worked wonders, and the room didn't spin as he half expected it to, when his feet hit the floor. For a moment he stood there, looking conflicted.

"I suppose asking for a tour is out?"

Rose took a step away and sheathed the knife back in her boot. With a smile, she rubbed the back of her head.
"Yes im sorry but a tour is out of the question," she replied.
Suddenly feeling dissappointed that he could move so easily.
"But i can show you to your motorcycle if your ready to leave," Rose offered and let out a sigh.

Then quickly started to blush as she realized she sighed out loud. Turning away from Cody, she walked over to the door and waited for his response.

He hesitated briefly and then nodded. "That would be nice." He patted himself down instinctively, forgetting that he'd been stripped of his weapons.

Coming up empty, he sighed, and then followed Rose over to the door. "So, what do you do for fun?" he asked her.

Rose smiled and opened the door, leading him out of the room and down a long hall to the door. "Well i used to mountain climb and hike alot when i was human. But now i just stick with practicing my medical skills and drawing. Though i read a little as well. Sometimes i will have time for a run," she replied.

Then stepping outside, she led him to a small garage and opened the door. His motorcycle was sitting next to her car and she handed him the keys after a second of hesitation.
"Well..here it is," she said almost quietly.

He snatched his keys from her hand and then turned to look at her, his brown eyes searching hers. "Why did you give up your freedom so readily? Drawing and doctoring are good skills, but they're nothing compared to getting some fresh air. You must be getting cabin fever, regardless."

He hesitated briefly and spun his key around his finger. "Come with me," he said suddenly. "Ride pillion with me and get some fresh air. It's the least I can do after you've taken care of me."

Rose looked around the camp and smiled then shrugged. "There was nothing else i could do really. I would be stuck being a monster to everyone else so why not stay with my own kind?" she replied.

Rose looked at Cody in surprise when he asked her to come with him. Then she threw off her doctors coat, tossing it on a table nearby. She hadnt been outside in a long while. Besides the trip to the hospital but that had been buisness. She wanted to go outside for fun.
"Okay. Lets get going then," she replied with a smile.

"That doesn't mean you have to barricade yourself behind doors and walls all the time," Cody replied.

He grinned when she tossed her labcoat aside; she was obviously ready to get out of the house. He went over to his motorcycle, checking it for injuries before throwing his leg over it and steadying it for Rose to clamber on behind him.

He turned the key in the ignition, starting it up with a roar. "Anywhere in particular you want to go?" he asked, checking his fuel gauge. He had half a tank, more than enough.

Rose climbed on and scooted up right against him before putting her arms around him. "Not at all just drive. I could care less where we go," she replied rather excitedly.

More than anything, she just wanted to be out of the confines of the camp. Being with Cody didnt make it too bad either. Though she wondered to where they would go and how far.

He grinned when he felt her behind him, and then confident she was secure, he peeled out of the garage at half his usual speed. He was being considerate for once.

"I know just the place," he yelled over the roar of the engine. "Where's the highway from here?" He knew she had mentioned hiking and he knew a good spot, but not in relation to where he was now. Still, he hoped to surprise her with this.

Rose pointed at a clear path through th trees where a large wood gate stood ajar. She waved to the guard and he waved back then she relaxed as they left the camp.

Where were they gonna go? Should she have done this? No matter. She could defend herself if need be and she half trusted Cody to keep her safe.

He released a breath he hadn't been aware he was holding. Even if he had escaped the werewolf compound, he still wouldn't have been home-free. At any rate, now he was.

He found the highway with little trouble and from there proceeded to shift up to a higher speed. After about twenty minutes, they entered hiking country. He spotted the particular turn off he'd come across a few years back, and took it. The last he'd heard, it was safe. And then he was pulling into an empty parking lot. He killed the engine and swivelled back to look at Rose.

"You said you liked hiking...there's a great spot not too far from here that has a nice view. If you're interested."

Rose watched the country side they passed by and at some point put her head again Cody's back to block the wind. Then she perked up with intrest as they turned off on a dirt road.

"Of course im intreasted," Rose replied and hopped off his motorcycle.
With a smile, she inhaled deeply then sighed happily. Looking around at the surrounding trees and boulders dotting the land, she felt jittery and couldnt wait to get going.

Rose waited on Cody then was by his side as he led the way. "So you like hiking too or is it just me?" she asked happily.

He slipped his keys into his pocket, before unlatching one of the saddlebags on his motorcycle where he had a smaller revolver tucked. He quickly slipped it into his boot, more as a safety precaution since they were heading out into the wilds. He locked the saddlebag again.

He flashed a smile at Rose. "I love hiking; though it's been a while since I've been out here." Last time he'd been tracking a werewolf--though he wasn't going to bring that up now.

He was at ease, his pace comfortable and steady for her to keep up, as he led the way along a dirt trail. The path climbed slowly upwards, some parts steeper than others, but nothing unmanageable.

"I prefer open areas, I suppose you could say," he added, before he pointing down the ridge they had just climbed. Below them a pool of water spread out, and feeding the pool of water, several hundred feet away, was a small waterfall. The rush of water could be heard even from here.

Rose followed and eventually passed him as they started up a ridge. When Cody pointed to a nearby pool and waterfall, she smiled happily and walked a little closer so she could see better.
"Wow thats an amazing view! Thank you so much Cody," Rose said as she turned to face him and smiled.

Rose looked alot more relaxed and happy out in the wild. It felt so nice to be out here again doing what she loved most. Then she lightly pushed Cody playfully and quickly climbed back down the ridge. It felt so nice to be out that she felt like a kid again. She wanted to play with someone and Cody was the only one here so she tried to provoke him to play.

Jackson smiled and got out of his bed. Walking over to his dresser, he pulled out a mechaninc's suit and went into the bathroom to change. When he walked out, he allowed Rina to go in and waited for her on his bed.
When she got back out, he checked her out and smiled. "You look great," he complimented her.

"You're welcome." He smiled at her obvious enjoyment, and his eyes softened somewhat. He wasn't old, but years of running from the law and then turning to uphold the law had aged him some.

But he was completely unprepared for her to get...giddy. He took a step back to recover himself from her push, wondering what on earth had provoked her to do that to him. Before she was scrambling away.

"What was that for?" he called after her, rubbing his arm. He couldn't remember the last time he had played, so it might take some patience on her part to get him to lighten up.
