Rose gratefully took his jacket and slipped it on. It was a little big and she looked a little funny with it on but she didnt care. Getting on his motorcycle, she scooted up till she was right against him then out her arms around his waist.

"Ready," she confirmed and held onto him as they left. She noticed they were headed in the opposite direction but she didnt say anything assuming he woukd take her back after dinner.

During the ride at some point, she put her head against his back and closed her eyes. Listening to the roar of the wind and motorcycle's engine.

Feeling Rose's arms around his waist, Cody took his time pulling out of the empty parking lot and onto the highway.

At last bright lights pushed back the darkness as he pulled into the diner. A fair number of vehicles dotted the parking lot, but even so, there was no wait.

"What do you like to eat?" Cody asked as he led Rose into the diner, holding the door open for her.

Rose smiled and walked in, saying thank you before choosing a booth. "Anything really. I havent eaten one thing i dont like," she replied with a smile.

Looking through the menu, she picked out a cheeseburger and a sprite. Rose glanced at Cody and watched him for a second before looking away.
"What are you going to have?" she asked with a smile and put down her menu.

"I guess I shouldn't be surprised by that," Cody said with a smile as he followed Rose over to a booth. He settled in and perused the menu at his leisure.

"Hm? Oh, probably the cheese-dog and coffee." He could use the warm beverage after the chilly ride, and the hotdog would help too.

"You know, that sunset was really nice, tonight," he commented, as the waitress came over to collect their orders.

Rose placed her order of a cheeseburger and sprite before turnin gback to Cody with a smile. "It was, wasnt it." she replied happily.

Come to think of it, Rose had never been more relaxed than when she was around Cody. For the first time since they met, she checked him out but tried to hide it. He was very nice looking and he had a great personality. Maybe he wasnt so bad even if he was a hunter.

Cody gave his own order to the waitress who collected their menus again and headed back to the kitchen, leaving the pair in relative peace.

Cody noticed Rose checking him out, although he didn't say anything. He leaned forward a bit, steepling his fingers together. He was curious about Rose. For being a werewolf, she didn't act like the monster he'd heard so much about.

A million questions wanted to spill from his lips, but he knew she probably wouldn't answer any of them. He would start out neutrally.

"So, Tell, he seems interesting."

Rose looked at Cody as he leaned over the table. Then she quickly checked his mannerisms to see if he was ready on attacking her. She hadnt meant to instantly shift a little and check his posture but it had become a habit around others who werent part of her pack.

"Yes well he is one of us nevertheless," she replied guardedly. Putting her elbows on the table, she suddenly thought to ask a question.
"Do you have a girlfriend?" she asked.

Her reaction to him piqued his interest more so, though he hadn't meant to smile. It was good to know she was still wary of him and guarded about her pack.

"No, I don't have a girlfriend. Why do you ask?"

The waitress returned briefly to place the coffee and sprite before them, before hurrying off again.

{Omg guys, Im so sorry I havent replied, I went away on vacation and didnt get one... Can someone give me a quick summery of whats going on and where the reply to Harren is?}

Rose sipped on her sprite and looked at Cody. "Surprising is all. I mean you are quite good looking even if you do need to loosen up a tiny bit," she teased and smiled.

Rose's phone went off and she excused herself before answering. "Oh hi Evence. Uh no..I went to town to grab something. It will be a little while longer but i'll be back," she said then nodded and said goodbye.
Hanging up, she put it back in her pocket and looked at Cody with a smile.

(Ah hah i was wondering what happened to you good to know your okay:) And Evence asked what you were going to name it and if you were going to put it in the packs daycare center after it turned six weeks of age. Rose checked on you before she left then Cody convinced her to leave camp with him but she was assuming he would be bringing her back. Rina went with Jackson to his job)

"Well... I think Ill name her Shylow. Ive always loved that name." Harren looked up at her pack leader, a smile on her lips."I think its about time you have a child of your own, miss." Harren giggled a bit.

Evence smiled then blushed as Harren suggested she have one of her own. "Thats a lovely name Harren. Wait. Me as a mom? Well that does sound nice," Evence replied then laughed softly. "I'll talk it over with Tell. In the mean time you need to get your rest and if i do wind up pregnant you'll be the first to know. I'll need your advice now," she said with a smile and laughed softly again.

"Dai is to busy... I wish things would be as it was when I first met him. So simple and fun." Harren laid back with Shylow on her chest. "No hunters are everywhere...."

Evence smiled reassuringly and gently brushed a strand of hair from Harren's face. "Im sorry things have been difficult lately for you. I know alot has happened but spring is here and everything gets so much better then. I promise it will be easier. Though i cant promise anything with Dai," she said before standing up.
"Get lots of rest Harren and i will come to check on you around lunch time. We can go get some lunch together at the cafe," Evence said quietly and with a smile.

"I haven't exactly had time to pursue other interests," he said. "And I'm not the easiest to get along with." Well, that was the understatement of a century. Girls didn't like it when you pointed guns at them, or threatened them. Then again, they didn't deserve to see any other side than his ruthlessness if they were intent on betraying him.

He stiffened a little when Rose's phone went off and she answered. He forced himself to relax, however, taking a sip of his coffee instead. He didn't bother diluting it with cream and sugar, preferring it black.

He tried to keep his voice neutral, but it was clear he was uneasy. "Do you have a curfew or something?"

Harren gave her a small smile. "Dai is the way he is for a reason Evence... He had a hard childhood." Harren put her finger to Shylows chubby hand, watching the baby grab on. "I dont mind it like a use to, Im just happy yo have this part of him with me... She have her hair and already looks just like him." Harren nodded the the door. "But we can talk later, I should feed her."

Rose saw him stifen when she answered her phone and felt his uneasiness as he asked her that question. "You dont have to be uneasy Cody. Im not a kid anymore so no i dont. Evence was just checking on me," she said with a reassuring smile.

Then she reached across the table and took his hand for a mere second. Before the waistress came with her food and Rose quickly pulled her hand away and smiled. "Thanks," she said to the waitress who nodded and left.
