Hello lovelies,
Some of us hate writing descriptions on Furcadia. We know what we want people to see when they look at our character, but it won't come out properly in words! This is where I can help you. I consider myself a rather eloquent writer, fond of onomatopoeia, alliteration, imagery and metaphors. I will write a description that is as floral and elegant or as cutting and to-the-point as you would like it to be.
Some past description examples:
Masterful bastard of sewn shadow and silence: all stoicism and stature, his fine features boasted princeliness and a confidence that was definitely not misplaced. A malicious ambiguity seemed to trail him, as if he could wander between realms and reality: a true prince of purgatory, dealing in dreams and dire decisions seemingly without perspicacity. It was a hard fact that the demon never sold straight-up, but adored well enough to have immortalized in ink across his imposing chest, secreted beneath finery: THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS
The Horseman rides a decrepit steed that leaves a greyscale trail in its wake, draining with a slow, dark devastation. This woman, however, shook off the shroud of shadow that her tradition begged her to boast, seemingly salacious in colours that were not only unique, but simply begged for the limelight. With a razor-sharp golden scythe strapped securely to her back and a series of rolled-up parchment coils decorating her belt, she was explosive glitz; lush leathers and sneaky gauze threatening propriety and marking her as an oddity, a technicolour maelstrom of danger and dissonance. A rainbow ravager. Death gone disco, baby.
Deliciously demure darling boasting the first flush of fragile youth, with sweetly-scented skin like spilt cream on bone china, and flaxen ringlets of well-groomed gloss that framed an invitingly heart-shaped face. Her fine features highlighted a naïveté so achingly genuine; from the exaggerated dip of her divine cupid's bow, to the dark sweep of dolly 'lashes that kissed glowing cheekbones, the woman was an enchanting enigma. Swept up in sleek silk that shimmered like seafoam, the youth exuded a dainty confidence designed to endear, ever the humble host of whispered conversation, smiles never set to beguile. The crimson that ring'd her pupils, however, remained a visual warning that so often went unheeded.
The man was charmingly dishevelled in that accidental way that looked so purposeful; mid-length hair wildly pushed back from leonine features, and complimented by a graze of dark stubble on strong jaw. Glasses often perched on his nose, framing a pair of fiercely intelligent tempered chocolate eyes; a glance at him might correctly lead one to believe he was well-educated -- a fact that was backed by the labcoat he occasionally wore about town. With a healthy physique, tall and lightly muscled, he dressed modestly, despite the thickness of his wallet. A lazy grin that accentuated his handsomeness usually invited one to approach, but eye contact was generally fleeting; the pharmacist was a bit on the shy side.
It's better for me if you have an RPR I can work with to glean information about your character, although if you do not I can still make up something for you with basic stats. Once I have written the description for you, I'll send it for your approval and we can adjust things as necessary. It's up to you to use it as-is or to adjust if you want -- once it's in your hands, it's yours. I can include HTML if you would like.
Descriptions are only $4 each via PayPal, or I will also accept empty portrait spaces.
If you'd like a more complex back story written about your character, or statistics done, I can do that for a bit more -- I'm open to discussion.
Send me a note here, reply to this topic, or whisper me on Furcadia, I'm usually around on Roxx!
