Seeing clearly in the night, Roeme's amber eyes glistened in the dark high above. Leaping out of the tower he landed in complete silence now barefoot. Wearing footwear never really tickled his fancy. Grabbing the smaller figure of the two, this person had the same uncatalogued scent from earlier. Putting the figure in a ungodly tight headlock, their weight seemed a little on the light side, almost as if a child. "Who are you, what is your purpose?" Roeme highly defensive for Katlina he continued, "Keep your answers short quiet and sweet as my night is already behind schedule."
Katlina's words resonated in his head, and smiled a bit as they walked. He was careful to follow her and keep as low a profile as he could, given the large difference between his clothing and Katlina's. She had stayed close to the trees, away from the spotlights that he assumed would doom them, were they to be spotted.
The attack came at a surprise though, and Isaac's eyes widened at the voice behind him along with the large arm around his neck. He looked quietly at Katlina, hoping that her words were true- that if he kept quiet, he would end up safe. He hadn't said anything since he asked her those questions. He hadn't been seen by the spotlights, and he snuck around really well. Or, at least, he thought he had.
He raised a hand to try to pull at the massive arm holding him, and-when he realized that was a fruitless endeavor- he held a hand to Katlina. She cared, he knew she cared, she wouldn't let him die, would she?

Katlina was caught by surprise at the swiftness of Roeme attack on Issac, thus the reason for her delayed reaction. Once she ascertained that it was her new friend, attacking her newest responsibility, she jumped forward to lightly touch the dark skinned man on his arm, her stormy eyes glinting. "It's okay Roeme,.. he is with me." She whispered, her voice soft and hushed. "You can release him. There was a ..complication this afternoon after you left, and this boy is new to camp. He can be of help to us."
She waited to see if Roeme would release his hold, unsure why there had been such a swift reaction on his part. Surely he didn't feel threatened by this kid? Still, she reached out and put a reassuring hand on Isaac as well, seeing the feat flash across his face. "Its ok kid. He won't hurt you.." she hoped that was true.

"Forgive my haste...I have been here less than a week an already I have seen many betrayals many questionable acts...I have found it is in every sense of the term a dog-eat-dog world here.... forgive me young one." Releasing the boy Roeme gave a passing sniff. (I should have known , the boy smells barely into his teens...his mutation must have just recently blossomed). A strobing flood light scanning their way, Roeme sorry to ruff the boy again, and so quickly. Grabbing at his collar he jerked him from the rays light just in time to maintain their cover. "We will converse more once we have put a great distance between us and this place...now follow me. And stay quiet."
Turning back to his "acquired" post, he again climbed with much haste. Reaching the top, he found the unconscious guard still as a rock. Leaning down Roeme picked up a rope and at its end a make shift hook, made from bent pitch fork stakes. Twirling it a few times for momentum, he gave it a controlled heave, allowing for a little slack, he yanked at it catching it on a jagged rocks the were the electrified gates. Tying it off on the look out post, Roeme hopped on the ledge in a crouched position like a predator, motioning to the other two with haste,he stood. Quick stepping across the rope in a few steps and with pristine balance, he proved it was stable enough to crawl across. Staying in a crouched position on the other side, the moom shown bright overhead and he had come to far to get caught up now. Looking back, he watched the pairs progress...

Katlina watched as Roeme made his way back up the guard tower and across a rope to reach the Northern Wall. She inhaled a deep breath, the muttered "Here goes nothing." Glancing down at Isaac she offered a quick smile, before sprinting towards the guard tower. Using the ladder there she climbed quickly, her lithe body strong after being within the camp for so long, and spending much of her free time practicing and exercising to keep fit.
Reaching the top of the tower she glanced back to see if Isaac had come along, then looked across the rope that was stretched tight between her and the electrified wall. She knew she didn't have near the balance that Roeme did, and instead of running across the expanse she lowered herself to grab onto the rope with her hands, then, hand over hand she moved across the expanse, legs dangling down until she reached where Roeme was crouching. Holding on with one had, she reached up and open palm to see if he would give her a hand up to the ledge. She hoped Isaac could make his way here as well.

Without a waiver Roemello helped Katlina to his side signaling to stay low at all times. Looking back over the expanse for Isaac, he heard a faint clanking of armoured foot steps by his account. Ducking even lower, he hoped the boy would be quick before any night rounds men strayed their way...
A quiet breath left Isaac as he watch the two climb the tower, and move along the rope. Where the huge man that had lead seemed to use his strength, Katlina used her speed and agility. Isaac had neither one and wasn't sure he could manage a climb up, let alone somehow getting across the rope. He had, however, been told to stay close to her, and a part of him desperately urged him on- to climb, and balance, and run as far as he needed to just to be near her. These feelings won out, taking Isaac's feet and placing one before the other-until he mat the handholds of the tower, and began climbing.
It was awkward for him, making sure his unsteady hands could hold onto the steel bars, his tennis shoes straining to hold where he placed them and not slip. He did, once- about halfway up the tower, one of his feet slid down a bar and for a split second-a terrifying split second - he thought he was going to fall, and hurt himself. Or worse, get caught. He made sure the second time to steady his feet, and get a feel for how the metal met his shoes- how the rubber held onto the bar, and how long he had before it would give way. It made him move faster- more efficiently- and he was up the tower before he had realized what he'd done.
His moment of triumph flashed across his face, light his features with pride for only a moment before he realized there was also the rope to cross. It seemed terribly far to go, across that wide open space and over a fence. Somewhere in his heart, he wanted to cross it. To show himself that he could. To show both of the people already there that he could. His fear made him wish he could look across that area and tell them that he couldn't do it. That all of this, this excitement and danger was too much for him. But staying would only get him hurt, right? Nothing would stop the big guy back in his nice tent from beating him, and hurting Katlina and god only knew how many others.
He sighed, imagining his breath as a white puff before him as if it were cold- and lowered himself onto the rope, wrapping his legs around it and moving hand over hand towards Katlina and the other man.

Katlina had murmered a thanks to Roeme as he helped her up, then turned quickly to watch Isaac progress. For some reason she held her breath as the boy began to cross the rope, as if his wellbeing was of utmost importance to her. But she had held herself back, she had taken care to not become his friend, to not care about the kid. Hadn't she? It was the only way to ensure she still could fight against the Captain, wasn't it? If she cared too much about this boys fate, then she would cave, and become the weakminded, fearful slave that the Captain wanted. These thoughts circulated through her mind in a flash, as she waited the boys crossing, breath caught.
Not that she hadn't already allowed herself to care about someone in this blasted camp. She'd thrown all that out the window when she'd tried to help Roeme that first day she'd seen the man, tortured and wounded. Something in her had decided she was done looking out only for herself. So why not add Isaac to her list as well? She sighed inwardly, then jerked her gaze away from the boy to look out over the wall.
They would need to be swift and silent if they were to be in time to take out the bridge and free those new recruits. She only hoped Roeme's sources were accurate, that it wasn't a setup. She wouldn't put it past the Captain.

(OOC. Sorry to jump in but here i go lol.)
He sat in the crate that seemed to slide and buckle in the back of a moving truck along rocky path in the dark night. He had hoped he was captured by the right squadron as his gut feeling had informed him to be there. He was in the right area at the right supply facility and on the right time and day. He had just hoped it was the right people. He wasn't exactly sure what was going on except for the war. He only knew he was informed by his gut feeling to be at the capturing spot by the specified time. He never had any doubts about the plan. Only that it wasn't set back with any misunderstandings or change ups. The only other thing he knew at this point was that he could only wait and see.

Seeing a clad guard come to their area, Roeme was already working on a distraction. Feeling to his side as he laid flat on his stomach, he found he abandoned standard issue boots. Tying the strings together, to Roeme it made no sense to throw just one. Giving one large circling heave he chucked them over the guard beyond his sight forcing him to.retrace his steps in curiosic duty. As soon as the man turned, Roeme knelt to a kneed, grabbing at the rope he gave it one.good 'WWHAAP'. Isaac's weight stifling the resending sounds, the momentum whiplashed the boy through the air a couple of feet allowing Roeme catch him one the other side. He only hoped he was smart enough to hold his silence through the ordeal.
Uncomfortable as it all was Roemello had to continue as he had not found a safe route to get off the wall he trusted they could safely traverse. Placing in a cupped underarm, he nodded in solemn forgive me fashion to Katlina as he slid close to her pulling their waists together with free hand. Leaping off the threshold, Roemello had made this trip at least twice in the few days he had been here. Landing with a single foot first, he let his leg strength absorb the impact muffling as much sound as possible. With another powerful press of his strong leg he leapt into the clearing. Coming to a sliding halt he set both down as he began messing with his collar.

Isaac had to remind himself not to look down. Instead, he had his eyes locked on the ledge of the platform he was trying to reach, watching it slide closer and closer as he moved himself down the line. The man was still there with Katlina, he could see- and it kept him quiet simply knowing they were watching him. He couldn't let them down. What if he shouted, and Katlina were hurt? What if-
For a moment, his focus was ripped away from him as the line slacked off and he was whipped through the air, pulling the quietest of yelps from him as he flew through the night sky only to be deftly caught by the man standing by Katlina. Rather than say anything, he quickly scanned the woman's face-his own eyes full of fear-for signs of worry. Something he had little time to do before they were both carried to another place- one Isaac was too confused and adrenaline-riddled to recognize at this point.

Katlina had blinked in surprise as she watched Isaac flung into the air, to be caught soon after. She was just about to open her mouth to whisper l, having seen Isaacs gaze on her, when she was swept close to Roeme and spirited away and over the wall to land silently in the clearing below.
Once she was released, she immediately shrank back some into the shadow of this side of the Northern Wall. Her eyes wide, she gazed out at the open expanse. A ways off a gravel amd dirt road could be seen winding its eay to eventually arrive at the eastern gate. Before it did, it had to cross the bridge which Roeme had mentioned previously.
Glancing over her shoulder she saw the dark skinned man fiddling with his collar, one that, much like the band around her arm, acted as a saftet measure in case of their disobedience. In her case, it did not keep her powers in check, merely promised a sudden death if she stepped out of line. She wondered thoufh, if Roeme's collar was having an adverse effect on his powers. Glancing over at Isaac, she realized that the kid didn't have one. Well that made sense, considering his power...was being immune to power. A collar or arm band wouldn't work on him most likely.
Moving nearer to the boy she crouched by him, eyes glinting with just the barest hint of care. "Are you okay?" She asked, voice hushed, realizing he'd probably been through a heck of a day. Though it was too late for him to turn back now, she wanted to know it was his choice to continue. "You follow us at risk... there will be more danger. Take care." She spoke quickly, purposfully, knowing time was limited. Then, she stood and looked again to Roeme. "Do we have a plan?" She asked softly. "I can command the bridge to blow... but likely won't be able to use my power for anything else. It's a bit of a one shot thing..and.. I will most likely be unwell when I am done."

Leading the pair deeper into the thicket, he got them as close as 50 yards while still remaining concealed by the surrounding woodlands. A whirring off an engine rhythmically stalling in the distance Roeme was unsure if the others could hear it. Speaking lowly, "You're powers are great but we cannot have you falling out. I will need you cool head and charisma amongst the unknown if we are to come out here with as many lives intact as possible." Lifting his shirt slightly Roeme removed a few pieces of tattered blank sheets of paper...a total of 3. "I have these."
"Forgive me" Roeme stated seeing the bewildered look on his companions faces. "These are paper bomb..". Biting at his thumb, he showed the blood drip. "Scribbling a single symbol, he made sure they both saw: (喝) . "This is the kanji in blood magic for explosion. I don't know many artes but enough to get by. Writing this symbol in blood creates a localized detonation on a flat surface about as strong as a standard grenade. It is quick and simple and effective. There are 3 of them and 3 off us. We need to set them on the bridge. I will detonate them myself once they are set."
Taking a slight whiff at the air, gasoline fumes permeated the area. "I believe the transport van is close....we need hurry!"

Katlina gave a quick nod, upon hearing Roeme's explanation, her eyes moving over the papers. Biting her lower lip she scanned the horizon, her body still in a slight crouch.
"What do you want me to do?" She asked, stormy grey eyes hard. Whatever it was, she'd do it. Anything to get out of here, to be finally free of that monster. She checked to make sure her knife was still tucked into the top of her boot, and one strapped about her waist. Then she glanced at Roeme. Noticing him sniff atbthe air. "Don't we need to blow the bridge before the truck arrives? If we blow it while the truck is going across, the recruits might perish as well."

"No we need to blow it NOW, before it gets here. It can not cross into the Captain's territory." Leaping out of the bushes he raced over to the bridge, sliding down the small hill on his behind he stopped using his feet. Slapping his blood seal on the side of the bridge, he looked back toward Katlina and Isaac....he would be their lookout.
Katlina had moved quickly after Roeme just as the man had begun to move, agreeing with him completely. It was now or never. Once the charges had been set she quickly moved out of range, her eyes sliding to the truck which rumbled ever closer to the bridge. Hopefully the guise of night was keeping their actions yet concealed, for now. Once the bridge blew their cover would be blown as well. She drew the knife at her waist, the larger one of the two. Intricate desigens had been carved into the smooth, well oiled wooden hilt, seemingly of druid origin. She crouched, waiting.
Isaac had only nodded at Katlina when she asked if he was okay. Her grey eyes had given him comfort, in the beginning- and now they made him worry. There was a fear he saw there that mixed with a desperation and created clouds there. If he watched long enough, he almost thought he could see a bit of lightning there, too. A flash of hope.
He followed as quietly as he could, listening to the conversation and only understanding names, rather than anything that was probably important. He had garnered that the 'Captain' was the man he referred to as Big Guy, and he decided that it fit better. Captain it was.
The bridge was big. Not as big as the one near his school- he had been able to look out the window during his teacher's boring speeches about history and watch cars drive along it's length. Big tugboats and barges would populate the waters beneath, and the swirling waters would enrapture the boy with their blues and greens- the way the small waves would turn white at the tips as a boat cut through them. He could name all the birds that perched upon the barges, at this point. Terns were the most common, and he had decided that they were a bird he quite liked. An acrid smell broke him from his reverie, and he only then realized what it was they were there to do.
"No we need to blow it NOW, before it gets here. It can not cross into the Captain's territory."
The words scared Isaac further. They were going to destroy a bridge? Wouldn't explosives call more guards out to them?
before he had a chance to speak his reservations, the paper had been put in his hand, and suddenly he was standing alone, the others heading towards the bridge's supports. He followed hurredly-after all, he couldn't defend himself. The support behind Katlina would have to do. He watched her expectantly, hoping she would be a god example of what to do.

The charges set, Roemello placed his hands together in preparation for the following... feeling a heavy fce, then a sharp pain, it was enough to lift him off his ground a thrown his s distance flinging him into the nearest brush a few late trees fell in his wake....
Pulling himself together, Roemello stood up to dusting himself off, "I knew there was another scent...". Swiping his arm once to clear the dust he saw a monstrous brute of a man with, tanned skin with straight laced cornrows. Taking a steps toward the man, Roemello knew not the man origins or motivation, but somehow he smell slightly feminine. Feeling the Captain's patented collar clasp against his chest he remembered his power level...he need approach smart, careful cautious...he need find time to detonate his planted blood seals.

Katlina had glanced at Isaac who seemed to be hesitating, then gestured with her head, eyes determined. They needed to hurry. Having already begun to move away from the Bridge, the charges set, ready to blow, she turned to find Roemello under attack from a hulking man with cornrows. Knowing her friend was not at full power, due to his collar, Katlina quickened her pace, but tried to approach quietly, her knife still drawn - a second knife appearing in her hand as she slipped it from the top of her leather boot.
She threw a glance back toward Issac and held up a hand, hoping he would stay back - she didn't want to be concerned with his safety while they fought. Maybe he'd keep an eye on the approaching truck, and the bridge.
Then, she dove. As the attacker was facing off with Roemello, seeming to have disregarded the other two entirely, Katlina was able to get in close, quickly slashing out across the man's side and drawing blood, her knife stained red with it. Her eyes blazed and her mouth hung in a slightly feral looking snarl. They didn't have time for this fight. It needed to end.
