Pretty sure I've been introduced to it via XinonHyena, the guy knows all the best places on the internet, honestly.
A google search! Unfortunately I can't remember the terms I used, but I'm so glad I came across this place by chance
I met Sasheth on Deaviantart, and she mentioned RPR several times to me, until I got curious enough to join on my own volition. Deviantart just doesn't work very well for roleplaying. Had I not met Sashetha, I wouldn't have found my way to this site!
I met RainbowtoRosie on town of Salem and she told me about here.
Gosh, I can't remember precisely. But generally I remember seeing someone on a group in Furcadia that I was really into for three years, saw their profile and decided to make an account because I thought it was a cool site. Forgot I had an account for ages, until I got a birthday message from my Vampire (Robert) back in 2015 and decided to check it out again.
Someone commissioned me back in 2009 or 2010, and they linked me their RPR profile for several of the characters they wanted me to draw. Being someone who wanted an easy way to organise my own characters, I saw this and was like, "yo, this isn't really that bad of an idea." and went ahead to get my own profile made.
UNFORTUNATELY... I completely forgot about my account for some time, and when I came back to RPR in February 2015, I didn't even remember I had an account until I did a search while playing a game with friends seeing how many characters were on the site with our real first names.
That old account has since been terminated since I requested as such. :p

A buddy of mine who I had roleplayed with for over a year at that point mentioned this site after the site we used became anti-roleplaying. Then, after waiting a day to be able to join, you all became cursed with this inactive butt
How did I find RPR? Hm.
Facebook. I was reading a post from a Final Fantasy RP page that I liked (I think it was a Zack Fair page). They were complaining about how the Facebook RP scene was going downhill and they wanted to find better spots to visit. I believe either someone linked them to here or they linked the site to invite others to play with them.
Regardless, I clicked the link and started lurking here for a while before deciding, "Eh, why not?" Like Cinders, I was also coming out of a RP stint on DeviantArt; my experiences there were some pretty bad ones that kept me from roleplaying for a while until around a year or two ago.
If not for that Facebook page and RPR, I would've never gotten over my past hangups and gained my groove back for RP.

I honestly found RPR through stalking a friend on Wattpad. Haha. I saw the link to her RPR account on her profile and got curious on what it might be. Then as I got into the site, I found it quite interesting and unique. I never actually encountered a roleplay site before, so I told myself "Hmm... I'll give this place a try," and now here I am.
Literal Luck, not even once, but twice. I found it one by pure luck then again by pure luck once more, though I was busy with trying to get rehired the second time.
I was told about it. I decided to check it out
A couple of months after the site opened, I saw a bunch of people on Furcadia use it and I signed up. Stuck around ever since! I'd known Kim before RPR as I commissioned her for art way back when, which helped me stick around too!
A friend shared a link to the site
We were supposed to start an Rp from year 2011 again over here
Well, highs and lows, and now we have The Galaxy Wide
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Yes, I do quite find this visit a success
Usually when we shared a site, I am the one who gets to know what the site itself is about, not just where to rp and what
So when others grow bored and the RP dies, I stay
Well, this has been different, kinda xD

Started noticing everyone on furc had these awesome character profiles and eventually I preferred rping with people who had a profile, thus i felt it appropriate to join the site and make some myself!
A friend of mine sent a link with their creations. I thought it seems interesting so I joined up.
