Thought I'd start up a chat topic about Pathfinder here on RPR seeing as there doesn't seem to be too much here concerning it.
Anyone out there play? What character(s) do you play as? What are your favorite classes? Any funny stories? Pick a topic or make up your own, or if you're brand new/never heard of it feel free to ask about the game itself, I'm just here to chat!

I love Pathfinder! I have based several of my character on classes or species
I also have a lot of the books and played it in about 1-2 years
Now I have a break though T_T
But I am concidering finding someone to start something up with, on skype of course (Cause Danish pathfinder people are rare in my friendbase).

I dont know a lot about it but my favorite class so far would have to be the psionic marksman or swashbuckler although I like the look of ninja (last session I had resulted in a party wipe from a Allosaurus)
I've been playing about a year and a half now, but I'm playing with some pretty experienced players. We recently completed a game at LVL 20 where my Orc Fighter chopped off the arm of an evil goddess's avatar. He became a God afterwards.
My next class I plan on taking is a summoner! I should really place some of my Pathfinder characters here on RPR, I'd love the chance to RP as them again~

Do it
Such things are awesome, even though I myself keep it seperated, but thats because I would have 10+ more characters than I already have if I did xD

True dat!
I'm currently hosting a pathfinder campaign! All my characters are the various plot characters that I pit my members up against for story development! (Say for my more future based characters) for rp purposes, however, I dont use stats and rolling. I'm a freeform RPer myself
I grew up on dnd 3.5 though, then migrated to pathfinder. I played some of the most deadly psion's in 3.5, but my current project in pathfinder is an Alchemist Bloodrager! Huge work in progress, but working on making him one of those sick game breaking types that are just a pain in the butt to deal with! Haha

Real life or here on RPR? If here, do you have any room for another player to join?
Nah, real life
Like I said, I keep my RP's separate from the dice life

I have a bunch of books but no one to play with
I started on D&D 3.0, transitioned to 3.5.
Then shifted to Pathfinder when I learned it was basically what D&D 4.0 should have been.
I play neutral evil half-elf Druids. They are the least stoic characters you will ever meet...
I once spent an entire game refusing to admit to being a Druid. Instead I was a wandering:
-Shepard (tried to sell starving refugees their own sheep)
-cartographer (tried to sell the town guard the map of their defenses... That I stole)
-Merchant (sold vials of chalk dust as ground up unicorn horn... For 'problems down below'. Also demanded a shoe as a traditional means of sealing a deal.)
-Cobbler (sold the shoes that I acquired)
-Adventurer (claimed I was there to rescue a town. Wasnt. Also framed a boy for drinking while on sentry duty.)
-Mentor (I inherited the boy, claiming to straighten him out. Used him as cannon fodder.)
Other campaigns:
I obsessed over creating the largest viper I possibly could as my animal companion. I successfully got it to size: Gargantuan.... It was surprisingly ineffective in combat.
I use create water for petty annoying vengeance. "Say...does that look like rain?" Then drop 20 gallons of water on them.

This just brings a big smile to my face! Awesome!
I've been playing for a few years! A group of my RL-friends started out with the Beginner's Box and played around a little bit with the mechanics. After that sort of petered out, another friend invited me into a group he had a sudden need for players for... I've played through four Adventure Paths with that group (Iron Gods, Curse of the Crimson Throne, Council of Thieves, and Serpent's Skull - the latter two being heavily modified by the GM to correct some of their eccentricities, hah), and it's been a blast.
We've been playing in other systems/worlds (FATE, mostly) for the past couple of games, though - most of the rest of the group is much more versed in Pathfinder than me, and they wanted to try something different.
There's been many highlights, but the one I enjoyed most was when I set up a combo such that my wizard did a ridiculous amount of damage in her second turn against a newly-fledged god. He didn't get back up after that one.

Taking on the Gods is so much fun!
Reviving and old thread here?? *awkward wave* Love Pathfinder. Gonna start running a Council Of Thieves campaign here soon. Favorite charactes was my Stygian Slayer from my friend's Reign Of Winter Campaign. She was just so much wicked fun to play.
