Talayna glanced down after a few minutes of the Hanged Man's lingering gaze so as to keep a blush from rising upon her pale cheeks. Did she remind him of someone perhaps? Intriguing.. she mused as she looked again at him, this time not hiding her frank curiosity. "Crow..." she murmered. He was obviously not going to share his given name..if he had one, and the word seemed to just.. fit. "Intelligent, rugged, brave creatures they are." She said, her tone merely conversational as she moved her head so that her gaze went across the table to scan the other elven female and.. was the man a knight? She was curious about them as well.
Suddenly it seemed that she had been held apart from the world for far too long. She wanted to learn things, to soak it all in, maybe if she worked hard she could make up all the years she had lost. Already she was feeling more comfortable and confident with communication again. Memories returned each day with more nuances of speech patterns needed for successfull conversation. She would move out of her comfort zone if that is what it took to regain old ease.
Talayna smiled across the table at the others, "and what names will the two of you give me?" She asked the lady and the man who had removed his helmet a short while ago. Her tone was friendly, but reserved. She determined to get the measure of these people. She had long ago learned that it didn't pay to make friends with those to whom you couldn't trust to watch your back. And trust was exeedingly rare.

Artus looked up at her. "Artus of the Dawn, but please just call me Artus." He didn't like to use his full title, he had been given it a long time ago by some villagers he had helped out. He cut a piece out of his steak and ate it. Even though he looked calm, inside he was bursting with excitement, he hadn't been able to go on some kind of adventure like this in a long while.
